    Lamb Ragu Pasta
    James J.

We wanted dinner somewhere within walking distance of where we were staying, so my wife found Eddie's on Yelp. The reviews looked good, so off we went. From the outside, it's a pretty unassuming building. When we walked in, I got more of a diner vibe than an Italian restaurant. The décor is simple and straightforward without a lot of frills, but we were there for the food, not the décor. We were seated almost immediately, and our waitress was friendly and laid back. She also let us know that we had arrived just in time for happy hour, so naturally we had to order some drinks and appetizers. We tried both the red and white sangrias, which our waitress had made fresh that day. They were refreshing and hit the spot. To start, we ordered the calamari and shared a Caesar salad. We also enjoyed some of the house focaccia bread. For our entrées, I chose the Lamb Ragu while my wife went with the Pappardelle Bolognese. Everything arrived in a timely manner and came out hot and fresh. The calamari was crispy and well prepared. The focaccia was good, although I would have preferred it served warm. The Caesar salad was flavorful and the perfect size for sharing. The lamb in the Lamb Ragu was cooked perfectly, and the pasta had a great texture and chew. The Pappardelle Bolognese was hearty, meaty, and equally well executed. Portion sizes for both dishes were just right and satisfying without being overwhelming. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and had a pleasant dining experience. My only critique is that both pasta dishes could have used a little more seasoning, particularly salt, to make the flavors pop a bit more. Aside from that, Eddie's delivered a good Italian dinner with friendly service and good value.

Stopped by on a Wednesday evening they close at 9pm we walked in and it wasnt crowded but they still had take out orders. This place is an absolute gem! Not only was our server Brenda so friendly and efficient but the food was amazing and so reasonably priced. We split a chicken Caesar salad which was delicious and ordered the Fettuccine diavola and papparrdelle bolognese. Both were delicious and really large portions. The scallops and shrimp in my Diavola were delicious! The restaurant is clean and spacious highly recommend if you're in Santa rosa!

I only had the bread pudding here, and it was delicious. The bread pudding had been warmed up, and the french vanilla ice cream was a perfect accompaniment. Bread pudding: 5/5 Maybe it was because it was 2pm on a Friday afternoon, but the atmosphere was lacking. There were guests at 2 other tables, and that was it. The place smelled overwhelmingly of disinfectant. Ambiance: 1/5

Tried Eddie's Kitchen and loved it! We ordered the tuna tartare (forgot to take a picture before we devoured it ), and it was delicious. The atmosphere is super chill and welcoming. We even met the owner, who made us feel right at home. The staff was friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. Definitely a spot I'll be coming back to. Mamma mia!

Their happy hour is really solid! We came on Friday around 5 PM, and even though it was busy, we got a table easily without a reservation. Service was friendly and efficient. I ordered the french fries and fried calamari, which came with ketchup and aioli - both were tasty. My girlfriend had an arugula salad and a burger. She loved the salad, but the burger was overcooked (she asked for medium rare). She much preferred the meatball she ordered in the past. They also served complimentary bread with olive oil and vinegar before our meal. Aside from the overcooked burger, everything else was 10/10!

Came here for dinner on a weeknight. We made a reservation to be on the safe side but probably didn't need it. There were other people already at the restaurant even though they just opened for dinner. It's nice and clean inside with cute centerpieces. I was pleased that they served focaccia bread with olive oil and vinaigrette to dip. All the food we ordered was pretty good. Also tried the white sangria which was very refreshing and just the right amount of alcohol. Customer service was also good and attentive.

OK, honest review I tried this place one time during restaurant week when they had recently opened and they were out of a few of the dishes we wanted to try. However, after months, I decided to give this spot another shot, and I ordered the pasta instead this time. This pasta that I ordered was absolutely delicious. I think it is my favorite pasta that I've ever had at a restaurant and that says a lot because I have been to a few Italian restaurants in my time. The garlic bread was also good. The wine paired well with my dish in my opinion. Service was a bit slow. I will say me and my sibling didn't get our drinks for about 20 minutes. I understand that a big party came in, but we after a while we had to ask another waiter for our drinks since our original waiter went to help with the big group. Our original waiter did apologize, though, which was appreciated and the other worker was able to get us our drinks after we asked her for them. I love the picture that they have with the dog drinking wine and the cheese for me. It's a cute restaurant inside. It is aesthetically pleasing. It's not overly done with decorations like some other restaurants where every wall is bombarded with pictures.

We decided to head back and give Eddies another try. My daughter, me and my granddaughter on Xmas eve wanted happy hour. Unfortunately they weren't offering happy hour due to it being a holiday. Service was good even though they got our order messed up but in the end the food was fantastic!! I had a salmon pasta I have since gone home to recreate. My daughter was raving about the pesto too. I'm incredibly glad we gave it another shot and look forward to going back.

Service and food was outstanding! Atmosphere was of a small run family business. Prices were a bit high, but the portions, presentation and flavors were well worth the price.

We dined here last night. Kenji was our server, professional & helpful in assisting us in our entree choices. We tipped him well. The lasagna was 5+ BOMB so good goody good. Couldn't get my husband to share lol. My ratatouille was flavorful, & delicious as well. We shall be back on our next visit~

I see only two items on the menu marked as gluten free, is this correct? I see lots on there that could be but not marked, so not sure about making reservations and then can't have anything.

All our risottos and some of our entrees are GF there are also gluten free alternatives just ask your server and they will help you out!

Are the meats local, grass fed (mmmm - the beautiful steak!) and is the seafood wild caught?

    Who cares? Totally pretentious.

After receiving my salad and beverage though, service all but disappeared. After 25-ish minutes and finally realizing I hadn't seen my server in a while, I managed to flag down another member of the staff (not my server) who kindly offered to check for me, and who returned with the disappointing news that no such item had ever been ordered. Spoiler alert: it had definitely been ordered :( Had anyone at all checked in on me after the salad arrived, I would have inquired about the main I was waiting for and we would have figured this all out relatively quickly - and I probably would have left a more satisfied customer. (I should also note that the salad and the drink were both good, so I was looking forward to the rest.) Instead, I just asked for the check - and I left still hungry and rather disappointed. To add to the weirdness, the server gave me someone else's check at first, with many more items ordered than my drink and salad. I mention it to help characterize the unfortunate misfire vibe. Respect to the servers, I know they're working hard and there are a ton of things that contribute to situations like this - maybe an off night, maybe a gap in training, maybe unexpectedly slammed... maybe something else entirely - but regardless, Yelp is for reviewing one's experience with a business. My experience at Willi's was a bummer, and I am not sure I'll bother going back.

For our visit we sat next to the fire place and shared a bottle of Pinot Noir. The employees were both welcoming and accommodating. They offered us a cheese plate to share which was a nice touch, we enjoyed the light snacks with our Pinot. At first the wine bar was fairly empty but before we knew it there was a full house. They had live music which we really enjoyed - the music wasn't so loud it over powered our conversation. Overall I'd give 4th St Cellars a 9/10. My only reservation and slight critique was the odd experience we had when selecting our wine. We asked for tastings of the Pinot and Cabernet before selecting our bottle. We were bought one tasting of each for my friend and I to share - meaning we shared our glass. While we didn't mind sharing germs I found it a bit odd lol. Our thought was we weren't clear in how we wanted to try the wine. Either way it wasn't a make or break for us and we still enjoyed our visit. 4th street cellars is a great stop for date night or a girls night! We will be returning.

We ordered multiple dishes on the menu and the worst was by far the bone marrow which we were very excited to try, should've known what to expect when they served it with ranch seasoned saltines, bone marrow is already so fatty and rich it doesn't need much for it to shine, adding andouille and onion jam was doing way too much. The saving grace of the night was the edamame appetizer (which was still a tad over cooked), sticky rice, which was not sticky by the way (jasmine rice) and the steak that was cooked to a perfect medium rare. Overall disappointed in their service, food, and above all else, drinks. If this is Sonoma's best, (displayed in the front) I wouldn't want to try their worst.
