I went to their shop on a Monday and Ordered a funeral arrangement /spray for a Friday service at…read morethe church for a total of $360. I chose the Paradise spray as the young man who had passed away really liked Hawaii. I asked the young lady that took the order whether it's large or if I pay more would it be larger and she said all the sprays are the same size and if you pay more, they would just add more flowers but the size would be the same. So, I asked her to charge me more for more flowers $300 and go from there. Told her it's for a young man who has passed away and I want it to be special. After calling someone to make sure they can do this arrangement due to the fact that they were very busy with weddings that weekend, She assured me that it would be done and made special. She even said that they have all the flowers in-season to be able to make this spray. At he church service on Friday I was so EMBARRASSED by the arrangement. It was small and not balanced (maybe it was missing the leaves around it... not sure) but it looked terrible or maybe the florist just didn't take the time to arrange in properly. I think they should not take additional business when they cannot handle it. I know the cost of a funeral spray does not compare to the revenue they get for a wedding but this was important to me and I wanted something special for my loved one. Unfortunately I did not get a chance to take a picture because I did not want anyone associating those flowers with me. After calling the store, a couple of people (Regina and then Mark) called me back and just apologized; At first offering to refund me 50% but then rescinding that offer. Their messages mentioned that I was charged appropriately for the arrangement and they would contact me but I never heard back after leaving my review. There should be better training of their staff when a customer orders so they do not give the wrong information about the size of an arrangement and also, not take on additional business when they cannot handle it. Think twice about ordering a one-off arrangement from here; their focus is only on big-ticket revenue from weddings.

However, at…read moregarden supply, they are a no frills, hard working crew that has a HUGE selection on pavers at competitive prices in favor of the consumer. They are a small business, so maybe phones calls dont all get answered. What i will say is dont give up, keep calling and/or email them. They are worth it, and they will most likely have what youre looking for. The associate that helped us was Jason. The crew in the yard is headed by the "Tio", an older associate who is this sweet, hard working gentleman focused on getting the job done while taking care of you. Most of the poor reviews are pointed at customer service. my experience was really good. But again, my expectations are tempered in knowing that this isnt some horrible, boujee, expensive supply store. They are a small family business that might not be perfect, but theyre doing their best at competitive prices. Although, one review said it best that it is helpful to know exactly what it is youre shopping for before coming; it just makes everything easier. If this is a struggle for you, definitely use a contractor as a point person. But other than that, this place really has it all. I highly recommend garden supply for all your landscape/hardscape needs.

Unfortunately, Garden Supply Hardscapes has become one of the most overpriced suppliers we've seen. Over the past several years, we've watched their prices increase year after year, far beyond what we've experienced at competing suppliers. At this point, many of their products are approaching double the price of comparable materials sold elsewhere. We understand that prices can increase over time, but the difference has become impossible to justify. To make matters worse, they also charge an additional fee if you don't purchase a full pallet. That policy might make sense from a business standpoint, but when it's combined with prices that are already significantly higher than the competition, it feels like customers are being penalized simply for not buying in bulk. As professionals in the industry, we have every reason to support local suppliers, but pricing has to remain competitive. We can't justify paying such a substantial premium for the exact same materials that are available elsewhere for considerably less. We have taken our business to other suppliers that offer better pricing, more transparent policies, and greater value for contractors. Unless Garden Supply makes significant changes to its pricing strategy, we won't be returning or recommending them to other professionals in the industry.

The only downside was that the Pilea involucrata 'Moon Valley' I wanted was a bit too small and looked awkward in it. Luckily, the owner was incredibly kind and offered to upsize the pot so it would fit perfectly and saved the day. Extremely happy with my purchase! In general, I think the shop could have a larger plant selection (lack of selection could be a seasonal thing?). I liked a lot of the planters and option to mix and match plants in them but didn't see a lot of plants that caught my eye. I ended up going somewhere else afterwards and took home 7 plants. That said, I do think it's worth checking out. I'll definitely go back next time I'm in the area.

There are lots of plants to check out, along with interesting pots and wall containers for them. There's been a growing selection of carnivorous plants as well! Over the past few weeks I've picked up two Nepenthes (tropical pitcher plants) and a very small sundew, and I'm very happy with my purchases. They had some lovely sarracenias (North American pitcher plants) that were tempting but I didn't purchase. This year I've had a renewed interest in houseplants, especially carnivorous plants. My son and I have been trading tips and figuring out what conditions are best for each type of plant. The owner was very helpful with some advice for our fiddle leaf fig plant (in most cases the answer is more light, assuming you aren't overwatering). Once when we come in there were lots of cuttings of succulents being propagated and small sundews being grown; the shelves are full of little surprises like this. Looking forward to our next visit, since I still have room on my plant shelf for one more hanging plant!

Juliana's vision is that your backyard should be an extension of your home, another room. Working with Juliana was wonderful. It truly is an extension of our home. Juliana and Mauricio (who she works with on the hardscape) did a wonderful job in transforming our yard. Communication with her was excellent. She stayed on budget and the only work order changes were a result of our wanting something different from the original plans. She has a great knowledge of plants and design. We did not proceed with developing plans, but the verbal estimate to get the work done was going to be $70-100K. We will be spending $30-50K with a different landscaper. So my perception is that Terra Rubina is very expensive. For the $250 bill, I tried to pay by Venmo. Venmo required last 4 digits of phone number in order to process the payment. I emailed asking for the last 4 digits of their phone number and did not hear back, so I didn't pay. Two weeks later I received a very rude and confrontational email hounding me for payment and threatening a late fee. I have seen back yards done by Terra Rubina. They are beautiful. If you want high quality work, and don't mind being bullied, and you're willing to pay a steep price, then maybe Terra Rubina is for you. They're not for me.
