This review is for Nicolette Lefebre. The Best!!! She is so amazing and does an amazing job on my hair!!! She is a super sweet person. A true sweetheart and really cares about you and your hair She makes me feel so comfortable. Absolutely the best I have ever been to. I have had a lot of people color and cut my hair before and it got to the point where I started coloring my own hair until I had Nicolette do my hair. She is so talented and such a Perfectionist. I completely trust her with my hair and any suggestions she gives me. I always want to try something new with my hair and I give her my ideas and it always turns out better than what I could have imagined. She is such an artist when it comes to my color. I don't know how she does it. She definately is a color specialist. She is young in her early 20's but really is an expert already. I can only imagine 10 years from now. Her cuts are excellent too! I highly reccomend her for anyone who wants to look beautiful wether it's something simple or extreme she is your gal. I only let her do my hair now. There just is no comparison. After getting a very expensive and mediocre at best hair color and cut from the last individual I went to, I was in search of a talented stylist that could deliver the very simple color/cut I was looking for. After spending over $400 with the last stylist and leaving almost identical to how I walked in I was nervous to find another. After reading some great reviews about Ernesto at Eddy James Salon I decide to make an appointment for a consultation. After explaining the hair color I wanted he was very honest with me and said there would be some corrective work due to what the last stylist did and referred me to another stylist there named Nicolette who was great at the color I was looking for. After talking with both of them about my wishes for color and cut I felt confident they could deliver. I made an appointment to get my hair colored with Nicolette and a cut with Ernesto the following week. Nicolette knew exactly what I was looking for and knew exactly what to do without any hesitation. She took her time and the knowledge and confidence in her talent showed. She was incredibly sweet and a pleasure to be around. After the color was finished I moved over to Ernesto's station where he gave me a great cut and blow-out. I left looking absolutely amazing and the first thing my husband said when he saw me was WOW! What more could I ask for! Honesty, great service all around at Eddy James, from the receptionist, shampoo girl and stylists Ernesto and Nicolette, and most importantly GREAT results. They will forever have a loyal client in me and I strongly recommend either Ernesto or Nicolette for your styling needs. They will take the time to really listen to what you want and deliver just that all while making you feel comfortable. No pressure for unnecessary purchases of things you don't need unless you want it. Also, no age restriction here. Though the stylist are young and hip when I was there I saw clients of all ages and backgrounds and the stylist worked well with everyone and seemed to deliver what their clients wanted. First and foremost the interior design of this place beyond beautiful and the cleanliness of the salon is superb. This was my FIRST time dying my hair, so of course i was nervous about the outcome. I was just completely over my sun-damaged hair, i went in for a blonde ombre. I HIGHLY recommend RACHAEL. She is absolutely amazing!!! I walked in, just showed her a picture and she nailed it! I have been going to Eddie for about 7 years. He is the absolute best at color. I used to pay a Beverly Hills salon $400 for cut and color and it was never as good as the job Eddie does. Plus one time I changed my color, then after living with it for a week decided I hated it. Went back to Eddie and he did new color on me again for free. I have been going to one specific hair salon since I was a little girl. I always felt OK about the way they left my hair but of course I was only paying 8 bucks so what more can I expect. I had not cut my hair for about 3 years and decided ok I have a great job now I can afford going to a higher priced salon because I do believe in you get what you pay for. I've known Rachel for some time already and have seen her work on Instagram and decided ok I will do it I will make the appointment with her and trust her with my hair (which I am usually worried about doing since I had been going to the same salon for about 15 years) Can I say just what an awesome experience I had. First walking in and the woman at the front desk was so welcoming. Rachel then began examining my hair and I told her what I wanted. She was so knowledgable and knew right away what types of layers would best fit the frame of my face and gave me tips on how to take care of my hair and what is the right way to cut hair (I've always asked for a v cut and my old salon always cut it with so much hair hanging at the end Rachel thought for a second I had extensions). I began telling her my old salon never seems to do a good job in covering all my grays when I get it colored and she explained how there is color for that and they may not be using it when coloring my hair. Wow I never knew that. I am not used to my hair getting styled after a cut and man Rachel left me feeling like a new woman with the way she styled it I ended up making dinner plans with my boyfriend just because I felt so beautiful and fabulous. My birthday is coming up and I am definitely excited to visit Rachel to make me look as fabulous as ever again. She is am amazing gal with the hands of an angel :) I recommend this girl and this salon to anyone and everyone!! read more

going to the Eddie James salon in Studio City has been one of the best experiences I've ever had all of the stylists there are amazing Eddie James himself and amazing styles do such amazing hair.from Eliza, myah, Kennedy,Stephanie they really definitely do amazing amazing blowouts an amazing root touch ups and extremely f and accommodating to everyone that walks in the Salon. read more

I have never been to a more obnoxious, unprofessional,rude hairstylist EVER! I had an appt w/ eddy. I was on time as per my usual self and there was a woman that walked in AFTER me and eddy proceeded to take a random walk in before me without even asking me if I had time to wait around! He started butchering my hair 45 mins AFTER my scheduled appt time. He spent about a couple of minutes on my hair then proceeded to hand me off to some assisant (which he seems to always have a new one each month) He talked bad about the other stylists and was yelling at his assistants clear across the salon. He completely ignored what I told him I wanted.....a beachy blonde. He cut way more then I wanted or asked for. Then when the assistant was done w/ my blowdry I was horrified! The beachy blonde" I had asked for and that he insisted he could achieve was nothing more then the color of murky fish tank! When I expressed how upset I was over this he insulted my intelligence by saying it looked good and that it was "sunkissed" The receptionists are rude and seem as if they are annoyed when you call to book an appt.The only good thing I have to say about this salon is that they play ok music and it tends to drown out eddys voice and hearing his sob storys about the economy and how its rough yet charging me 295.00 for color that I could have gotten better results from a box dye and a haircut that looks like I went to supercuts. I WOULD NOT reccomend EDDYJAMES to my worst enemy.. The salon looks nice from the outside but on the inside is filled w/ an underqualified,entitled business owner named EDDY JAMES .If you want to be dissatisfyed and look worse then you did when you walked go to Eddy James. read more
