The arcade game was broken when we arrived' the AC stopped working properly several times, the pool area was horrible, the grass was overgrown, the internet was awful. And they had one "maintenance man." The pool was cloudy, the chairs were moldy and stained, and it was obvious the weeds hadn't been cut in quite some time. After our stay we complained, and was met with minimizatiin and blame of our concerns​​. I would not recommend renting from this agency!!! Very poor management! read more

We had nothing but issues from the moment we arrived. The door codes did not work. The pool door lock was broken. The bedding had not been washed and had disgusting white stains all over it. The bathroom floor was covered in urine. That was only the beginning.... when I contacted Eden management they NEVER responded in a timely manner. When they did send a maintenance man out to help us, he was extremely rude, bordering on abusive. Our last evening in the house the alarms went off at 10pm. There was NO response from Eden management. I called their 1800 number and was told that the maintenance man would be there " at some point." Meanwhile the neighbors woke up, the strobe lights were flashing, and we finally called the Gatlinburg fire department who came out and helped us. When maintenance FINALLY showed up, he was rude and said some very inappropriate things to my 73 year old mother. In addition, the fire dept. told him to reset the alarms. Instead, he turned off the breaker to them, leaving us all in danger for the evening without fire detection services. There was water all over the electronic panels in the alarm room and the maintenance man did not even bother to clean it up. I am not only disgusted by the management, but by their lack of communication on ALL fronts and their careless concern for safety. They still have not responded to me or returned my calls. This house is very $$$$$$ to rent, and I would warn anyone thinking about it to stay FAR AWAY from it. read more

We made a reservation for Monday through Friday, on the arrival close to 6pm we get inside the cabin and a dog or cat had pee in the rug in the living room area and the cabin smell terrible. On top of that the jacuzzi wasn't working properly and the bad was extremely uncomfortable. We called and emailed in the morning and had no response from anyone. We had maximum 2 hours of sleep and had to drive back to NC for 6hrs because nobody fixed the issue or offered another cabin to us. They also kept our money and so far nobody offered to refund the money. read more

April 2024 We were very disappointed with this rental company. The property was not ready for 4pm check in. It took us to call several times and go to the property to see it was not ready. After waiting over two hours we were able to get after a rush cleaning by their housekeeping which only lasted about 45 minutes. We asked for a late check out since we were not able to check in on time and we as delayed. It was not a great stay or experience nor was the cabin cleaned well and the water cold for showers, WiFi info not accessible until finally picked up. I will not be coming back nor recommending this rental company to anyone. read more

We stayed at The Highlander in Sevierville, Tn thru Eden Creat Vacation Rentals. Upon arrival the sheets had not been changed and were not clean, makeup was on pillow case and nasty hair in the bed. The hot tub would not get hot Which was disappointing. The dishwasher wouldn't run and the gas fireplace in living room area didn't work. There was no gas fire pit on deck as seen in pictures. The game was nice with a pool table and air hockey for the kids. The corn hole boards shown in pictures was missing and no remotes for the Nintendo. We should have been compensated. **they change the star ratings on the company site to make them all 4-5 star. i submitted a review for 2 stars and they changed it to 5** my family of 6 and i have been vacationing in laurel estates for 4-5 years now and i have to say its starting to not be worth the money anymore. when we first started staying in this neighborhood, everything about it was clean and beautiful, but now not so much. we stayed at serene oasis (this will be our second time in this cabin). immediately upon pulling up we noticed thay the scenery was not kept up. the grass was high, there were weeds the size of the trees outside the door. the lights in the mbr were so dim that it was like they were not even on. im pretty sure we had bed bugs in the mbr because my husband and i both woke up with bites. the couches were peeling and sunk in and need to be replaced, but they had couch covers on them which looked very tacky especially for what we pay to stay here. they didnt leave a blanket for the couch bed so we ended up having to get the comforter off the bed downstairs. they did leave sheets but no blanket. the dish selection was very slim and the pans were not clean. the hot tub had hair floating in it. all in all worst stay we have had with this neighborhood so far. we will not be renting with them again read more

UPDATE - Eden Crest reached out to me and we agreed to a fair & appropriate refund amount. Harmony's Peak is a great house and once the new home issues are resolved, it will be a great place to vacation. Currently staying in Harmony's Peak and we are disappointed. This cabin is new and we expected minor issues but the lack of communication from Eden's Crest is the real issue. Upon arrival we noticed a broken sink, 2 shattered windows, doors that won't close and 2 fire places that would not turn on. House had no propane so fire places and grill would not work. TV's in multiple rooms, theater included, were unable to connect to TV service. Wi-Fi also does not work. After multiple calls, texts and service requests, no one has yet to stop by. Also not responding to texts. We booked for 3 nights and are on on our 2 night here without an answer to our service request. I would look to stay with a different company that values their customers. Be very aware that this place is not ready for vacationers and company is unresponsive. We have yet to hear from them. Also, upon booking we booked a 6 bedroom home for 13 people. Much later and after our payment, Eden's Crest called back to tell us our cabin would only be 5 bedrooms. No discount was offered. I had to ask for a discount since they changed our configuration. They offered less than $200 discount for the loss of a bedroom and are not responding to our service requests. Please Beware of these Rentals, reserved a Cabin during Christmas with an Indoor Pool and Hot Tub, the Hot tub was in sleep mode which made it a nice 65 degrees and had dead skin and scum all on the sides of it. You would think when you pay for a cabin for a getaway it would be clean, and all amenities are running. But know when you call and ask about a compensation for something you paid for and was not working, they tell you as long as when you called, and we came out to fix it there is no compensation It all has Time stamps, well I'm sorry someone lied we reported the day we got there and the Maintenance didn't come out to the following day in the evening I told them I would send them my phone records to prove to them but they said your contract you sign says no compensation. The cabin itself was lovely. However the management wad terrible. The first day there we were woke up at 6 am by saws cutting up the road in front of cabin. We could not leave all day and was blocked in by construction. The men working left nasty dust and rocks all over my vehicle. These men were taking breaks and sitting on our porch. We asked about the free tickets they promised for near by amusement before we came so we would have that ready. We'll they wait days to send you a form to request the tickets that will take minimum of 48 hours. So we lost out on that. Then we paid for an additional night. We get back to cabin to find our code to door had been changed and even air bnb couldn't reach anyone to let us know the new code. We waited hours because our dog was inside. If there is a negative star rating, that is what I will give Eden Crest Vacation rental! After booking with them assuming they are a professional and reputable company, we arrive to our cabin and discover it is already occupied!!! We drove 15 hours to arrive to a double booked cabin! Even though I called them the day before we left, confirming the details and road conditions and they gave me the thumbs up. The cabin's area was totally snowed in and roads were very dangerous, the cabin was already occupied and Eden Crest did NOTHING to solve the problem!! Not even an apology! We got stuck in the snow for hours, they did not provide any help to relocate us or find a solution for us. It was snowing, pitch black, with wild animals in the background! My kids are traumatized!!! I was hoping for a peaceful, wintery vacation and ended up with a horrific wintery nightmare!!! My family had booked the Tennessee Star Lodge in January for our early April trip to Gatlinburg. Three days before we were going to check in, their office manager Dustin called my and reported that they had to cancel my reservation because the unit had been sold. He offered no alternative place to stay, no compensation or and advice with another company to try. I understand that things happen but to offer me nothing except a half-hearted apology amazed me. When I asked to talk to get whoever at the company to contact when I was dissatisfied with their service, he told me that the only people above him is the owners and they never talk to guests. To be fair, there was an unexpected snowstorm in the area which made the road to the condo impassable. BUT the storm started the night before so I feel like they could've called me earlier so I could make other arrangements for a place to stay. The biggest joke of a place that we have ever stayed I have tried them over and Over agin thinking it will get better. The cabins they put up are not what they seem. We had one yesterday that had a bad AC they even had a temporary one in the room with the discharge sitting in the room with no where to go, not to mention the hot tub was disgusting with a filter that looks like it hasn't been changed in months. If I could give this rental management company a negative review I absolutely would, first off they refused to work with us for a late check in even though it was available after dislocating my shoulder, next when we do get to the cabin we find the living room television does not work, the refrigerator does not cool & only one burner on the stove works, we couldn't even make the best of things to enjoy our much needed time off because we had several contractors coming out to fix things, we called Eden Crest several times to speak to a supervisor, conveniently nobody was ever available and was always promised a call back which never came. Toxic vacation!! Horrible! The Theater room had mushroom and mold growing in it so we could not use it. The a/c on the game room floor leaked and stopped working. The internet and satellite is nonexistent. All the beds are loose and falling apart. Only 1/2 of gas grill worked. Not enough towels, face towels or bed linen. The glass shower door was missing the hardware to keep it on the track so we could not use it until they came out to fix it. The bathroom sink on the main floor leaked from the base. The shower on the main floor did not drain. The 24 hour Answering Services did not answer our calls when calling in so we had to wait until the office was open. They did not pick up trash when requested so we were told to not put outside so we had to keep bags of trash in the cabin. Some of the problems my nephew was able to fix, such as the a/c, connected the hdmi cable to all of the TVs, tightened up some of the beds. We reported all the issues to the rental company and asked to be moved to a different property within the first 24 hours of checking in but the company ignored my request and said they would take care of us. After checking out they reached out to us and asked how can they compensate us and I said 25% refund due to all the problems we had and plus we could not use the theater room for the 5 days that we were there. To make a long story short the owner offered us a $400 refund which was less than 10% Of what we paid plus a $250 certificate to come back. Now tell me who in the hell in their right mind would come back to visit this cabin again. read more

After reading several other reviews on Yelp!, I am so upset with myself for not doing my research first! We were pretty desperate to find a condo/cabin that would accommodate us, so when I finally found something, I didn't think twice before booking. Bad mistake. There was a bed bug found in our room - CRAWLING up my dad's leg. We called Eden Crest to let them know and they sent out a maintenance man (lol) who confirmed that it was a bed bug. They assured us that they would have the room treated/sanitized in 4-6 hours by a PROFESSIONAL exterminating company. I requested that they also sanitize our personal belongings, but the "manager", Stacy, informed me that they were not legally allowed to do that, but that she would tell them to leave the sanitizing spray behind for us to do ourselves. Okay, fine. When we got back to our room, hours later, what we found to be left behind by this PROFESSIONAL exterminating service, was a can of Hot Shot bed bug spray still in the Walgreens bag where it was purchased from. Furthermore, after the incident and being assured that there would be compensation, the company failed to follow up and we have not heard a peep from them since. I'm not naive. I know that bed bugs are a risk you take when it comes to touristy towns. HOWEVER, the way that Eden Crest Vacation Rentals handled this situation was less than acceptable, so nothing would make me happier than for everyone to know to stay away from them!! read more

We had a cabin booked in pigeon forge, the cabin was dead center of the evacuation zone for the wild fire and these CROOKS ACTUALLY REFUSE TO REFUND US!! I never would have dreamed they would refuse to give customers refunds when it's absolutely a natural disaster and we have no control of this situation. My family and I stayed at the Lodge of Gatlinburg May 31st - June 7th and it was a dream come true! Everything leading up to the day went very well and when I called a million times with questions they were answered promptly and professionally. The day of the stay we received all into that morning and a text that we were able to get in the cabin. It was breathtaking the second the door opened. Everything was amazing. The cabin, the views and the amenities. The only complain was there were a lot of wood bees outside on the deck but that wasn't the cabins fault. I have made an attempt to call and voice my disappointment surrounding our stay at Swimming in the Smokies from 02/14/19 to 02/17/19, but since this was not taken seriously I have this review prepared. Once a month I have the chance to step away from everything and get a break from the hustle and bustle of life. I get to escape to beautiful peaceful locations where I can have fun and spend time relaxing and resting. Like other months I made arrangements for a restful and serene weekend in the mountains with my friends. A weekend that carries a nice price tag but is worth every penny for what we typically get. I made my reservations, I paid for the non refundable rent, then signed my contracts. I did not get what we expected. I drove up to a construction sight and I was not informed that the cabin was surrounded by construction. Within an hour I was having to call to have my tire repaired because I picked up a nail. But we handled it air in tire and repair done. No big deal, things happen. I do my routine walk trough to check things out and notice the water level in the hot tub is low, so I call the rental company to have it filled. Two calls after they responded hours later. Cold water, no hot tub for the night. Again no big deal we have a heated indoor pool, but the pool was not a comfortable 72-75 degrees. It was ice cold at around 55 degrees. So we all stay up late and enjoy a nice meal out on the deck on a lovely evening. Making the best of a situation until we can have issues resolved in the morning. The idea was to sleep in and then handle things before the other guests arrived. Good idea right? But that is not what happened. Friday morning at 6 AM I was startled awake by a diesel engine that sounded like it was in the cabin. They were unloading construction materials and getting ready to ruin my peace and quiet. Instead of sitting on the deck and enjoying my morning of bird song in early spring and coffee I was met with a full day of saws, hammers, drills, and clanking around. And I did not get more than 4 hours of sleep. I was prepared to make the best of it by cutting on pandora on the outside television and blocking out some of the construction noise with some music, but the TV would not mirror or release a blue screen. I just bit my lip and figured I would have Saturday morning to sleep in and to have peace and quiet. Yep, I was wrong. AT 730 we were hot with more construction noise and by 9am the nail guns from the roofers. But that was not even the worst part, the worst part was the roofers staring at us in and out of the hot tub and on the decks. We finally had to put up tarps to block their view and make all of us feel like we had even a small amount of privacy. Over the 3 days we were there the pool never heated up so that we could swim. We did not get the rest we needed. And our privacy was infringed on by drooling peeping tom construction workers. If I had been informed about the construction before hand we would not have stayed at this cabin. We would have opted for one that was not surrounded by construction. During our stay, Saturday I had my personal assistant call about the noise and they rude peepers and she was told that a construction warning was on the web site (I did not book through the web site) and in the contract. We had already paid and were in a nonrefundable status before we signed the contracts. Then another call from my partner about the pool heat, he was told that the owner did not allow the adjustment of the temp settings. We have rented cabins once a month for the past 24 months and this is the first time I have walked away disappointed, exhausted, and feeling ripped off. My son stayed at the walnut grove cabins with our church from feb 8-10 and came home with bed bug bites all over him. Almost all the boys in the cabin and even the youth leader was ate up. I wasn't mad at first because I'm the type of person that understands things happen but what really ticks me off is that when Eden crest was contacted and let them know, they DENIED having bed bugs. I'm sorry but they need to take responsibility and admit that they have an infestation so that no other renters get bit and possibly take them home. Having an exterminator come once to the property is not going to get rid of them. Another child had to go to the dr 5 days later because it was so bad and the dr confirmed it was bites from bed bugs. THANK GOD I noticed the bites before bringing my son home or we'd have a whole other mess to deal with. Take responsibility and own up to it Eden Crest. Very disappointed. read more

A number of issues we experienced: - We were told that they would send us the door access code after 4pm. Unfortunately, the email they sent did not include the code. When we called their number (which was around 8pm), nobody responded. It took us 1 1/2 hours until we finally reached someone and then learned that it was an answering service. Good thing was that they were able to provide the access code but we still waisted 1 1/2 hours desperately trying to reach someone. We followed up with emails and a message on their chat function on their website; nobody ever followed us with us... - They claimed that the property had "high speed" internet. In reality, the speed was ok but certainly not high speed. Worse, the internet stopped every 5-20 minutes before it reconnected, making it impossible to work. We had an urgen Zoom call one night and had to go down to Gatlinburg and do it from the car... This is not a ding on the property itself; that was fine. However, Eden Crest Vacation Rentals as a company is awful to deal with so watch out if you have any problems, particularly during non-office hours. read more

Because of horrible directions and getting the runaround from people in the office who I asked for help and didn't get it, it took an hour for me to find my cabin, in the dark. The cabin was cute and clean, no problems there. On the first night of my stay I had a half case of wine stolen from the front deck. I texted a message to customer service but to no avail. The night before I checked out, I fell going up the outdoor steps, due to there being no lights on that end of the deck. I hit my head and strained my neck, leaving me with a bump and massive migraine the next day, along with bruises covering my right leg and left wrist. I was directed to "Bobbie N." their customer service manager, who first asked for pictures and later to fill out an incident report, both of which I got back to her immediately. There were multiple emails and phone calls with her, each with the same response, "that my report had been forwarded to upper management and I would be getting a call the next day." After never hearing a word back I asked Bobbi twice if I could please have the name and email of "upper management" and I would deal with them directly. She just ignored my second request and I never heard from her, or upper management, again. I am in my 60s and was traveling alone and could have hurt myself worse than I did. After having provided them with pictures and then the incident report requested of me, and not getting a reply for over 2 months, with their messages ending with "have a blessed day," I feel I have been involved in a scam. Needless to say, my vacation in the Smokies was horrible and left a bad taste in my mouth. I'll never return! read more

Our experience was very poor with our Eden Crest rental. Complaints include: The pool did not work during our stay at "the pool house" it was being serviced and had so much shock in it we were told to stay out of it. The projector did not work in the theater room from lack of maintenance. Chairs were missing from multiple balcony's. Internet connection was very poor. Pool table was missing balls and had broken sticks. The oven had been recently replaced with a cheap rental unit and the old one was left on a bedroom balcony. Eden management did not address any of these issues during our stay because it was on a weekend. My facebook review was deleted and I was blocked from their page from future comments. Ultimately we ended up leaving early after having such a poor experience. read more

We just left Thursday from our 4 day family reunion, having to spend the last night in a hotel due to bed bugs. We were told by the resort that they had not had bed bugs in 2 years and were on a regular spraying schedule, but I see someone also posted they had bedbugs this month. They sent Orkin out twice because they wanted them to verify it was bed bugs even tho my nephew was bitten head to toe. Our hot tub leaked so we couldn't use it. The dryer didn't heat and the cleaning people started cleaning our stuff out of the community center a day before we were supposed to leave. Would NOT recommend this vacation resort. read more

We had arrived a couple hours before check-in time and we reached out to the rental agency and asked if it would be possible if we could get in a little bit earlier seeing we arrived earlier. Their answer was no and until they got clearance from the cleaning company no one was allowed to enter. Absolutely fine we can find something to do here in Tennessee. So we receive our message that we are now allowed to enter the home. Upon entering the home immediately notice broken blind so we decided to do a walk-through document anything else that would be broken. And here we go. There were two coffee pots in the kitchen one with a hole in the side of the glass pot, in the drawers with the cooking utensils and even the silverware drawer we're not only food particles but also roach droppings. The cabinet above the microwave where we needed to store food not only had dead cockroaches but also had live living German roaches. under the kitchen sink there were live living German roaches the drawer underneath the oven had food in it. Then let's move on to the bathrooms shower curtains "moldy " both master bedrooms have fireplaces neither one of them worked other than ambience. Wouldn't really care if it didn't dip down into the 30s. The washing machine had the big black ring in it. They send over a person to inspect as your checking in and he pretends to be turning it on off all the lighting but you know it's BS because when you go to use the light in the washer machine area it doesn't work. And then throughout your stay they send another BS person to use the excuse that they're checking on the air vent. Where the man was caught just looking around. There are two areas that you can throw out your garbage and both are protected do to the wildlife. We had sent and called several requests on someone to please come and pick up the garbage for your needs. They did make an appearance one time to pick up some of it but never came back again to where we had to start accumulating the garbage inside our cabin. Oh I can go on and on and on about how dirty this home was and it's a real shame because it can be a very nice cabin. I probably could have overlooked a lot but the fact that it had German cockroaches really bothered me the worst. If anyone knows about that bug one knows it's from Total filth and we could have easily transported them back home with us. After paying $6,000 I would expect something a little bit better. Beware. On the plus side, unit is extremely clean. The community is very conveniently located and well-suited to large groups requiring multiple units. Unfortunately management does not respond to requests. Pool has been out of commission for duration of our stay, multiple units have required appliance repairs and experienced electrical issues. Multiple grills not usable due to lack of propane. Most frustrating though, is lack of response. read more

If you dont believe this reviewer then try reviewing any cabin on the Eden Crest website...you cannot and the mobile app they provide you to review does not publish the bad reviews as seen here. Deceptive and shoddy business practices. My review was from the 1BR Skinny Dippin Cabin. TOXIC MOLD IN THE SKINNY DIPPIN CABIN!!! When we first walked in we could smell a strong musty odor coming from the cabin. Sometimes this goes away with air flow but not in this cabin. This cabin has leakage issues in the Spa room when it rains and needs to be checked for mold spores. Both my wife and I became sick with breathing problems and sore throat. As the week went on we became extremely fatigued. When we returned home many of our belongings absorbed the musty smell including our dogs. We had to wash our clothes twice to get rid of the musty smell and my CPAP machine had to be cleaned several times to get rid of the smell. Bed was terrible as well, just a foam cushion on top of an old creaky mattress. I would not recommend staying here until the problem is resolved. I feel this is the problem of the management and not necessarily the owners. They may not even know or don't care. This place was a nightmare. We checked in and the ladies cleaning were smoking right outside the door which made the inside smell like smoke. There was VERY little parking near the cabin (13c), if you didn't get back early you had to park down the hill (picture) and walk up. The hot tub in the pictures looks like a picturesque place to be on a balcony....it's not. It is sitting on the front walkway area where everyone on your floor and the floors above you are walking by. If the people above you use theirs water drips/pours down onto you in the hot tub.The cool looking leather couches in the pictures are nonexistent. They are crappy green cloth couches and chairs all stained and ripped up and worn out. Also the pictures show a laundry room which is false. You share a laundry room with the random folks adjoined to your condo. We had our laundry taken out by the other folks, they were nice about it but we all ran into the "not enough towels" problem so it was continuously running. We stayed here a week and during the week was alright, they are building a new building next door and usually started hammering and sawing around 8a. A few nights someone down the hill was running chainsaws until 9-10. When the weekend rolled around it all fell apart, the floors are thin and every step can be heard. We thought by the description and inviting of churches and youth groups it would be chill and not a lot of drinking. We were way wrong, lots of drinking and trash around. People yelling and screaming until 3a on Friday night. We asked them to chill a bit and they said they paid just like we did. Staff didn't answer or do anything. One guy had his diesel truck idling for 3 hours with the music blaring. Asked him to turn it down a little and he told me to "f- off". We really wanted this place to be awesome, had high hopes and still had a good vacation, we just didn't want to come back to sleep at night because the place was like a frat house turned into a vacation spot and never upgraded. My family and I took a road trip vacation to Gatlinburg Tennessee. We stayed at The Splash Time Cinema through Eden Crest Vacation Rentals. It was very hard to find due to new construction. The roads were named but some signs weren't posted because it's so new. Also, we were told that the GPS wasn't going to have accurate information to get us to the rental. This was correct the GPS on the phones were inaccurate, also when you reach a certain part the service is really bad. The only navigation that seemed to be accurate was the satellite GPS in the car. We were able to call and get some directions from the call center. The directions they gave us and the directions online were a little confusing. Once we finally reached our destination from the moment the door open, I was amazed. The inside as well as the outside looked just like the pictures. The rooms were clean, spacious and everything we were told and could imagine. Plus more! There was a pool in the basement. The pool is four feet. There is an alarm on the door when you enter the pool area that can be heard around the house for safety. This was important for us because we had small children with us. On the same floor as the pool the back patio had a hot tub and sauna. Also on that floor was a laundry room, bathroom, bedroom and theater room. The theater was awesome it had three rows of seating and a couch. You can watch DVDs. We were supposed to get free movies but the kiosk for the free rental was unavailable. So instead we paid for some Redbox. We hoped to watch Netflix but there wasn't any WiFi. They did have satellite and plenty of channels were available. You could only have three televisions watching cable on at once. The next floor up was equipped with an air hockey table, foosball, shuffle board and an arcade game station. It had about fifteen free games to play. The joystick did get stick multiple times. It was still fun to play with. That same floor had a patio with chairs and table settings, living room area, small refrigerator and two bedrooms. Keep in mind each each bedroom has a bathroom. The next floor up was the main floor. The main floor had a kitchen that looked onto the living room. There was a master bedroom that had a fireplace, jacuzzi tub,bathroom with his/her sink and shower. This floor also had a patio with a gas grill. There was a double sided fire place in the living room that also showed on the patio. The last floor was the loft. This floor had a pool table area. It also had two bedrooms. As you can see this house had PLENTY of room. Our family of 13 fit comfortably. The two couches in the house also folded out into beds. If you are looking for some quiet you may only get that at night. Lots of construction going on throughout the day. We were very pleased with our stay. We would 100% visit this location again. The house came with a few trash bags, a small bottle of dishwashing liquid, a few single packages of dishwashing bars, bath towels, pool towels, four detergent packs, dryer sheets, bleach, small shampoo/conditioner, small hand soaps. Our only complaint was there was no way to make an outside call unless you left the property about one to two miles. They may want to invest in a landline. The elders in the group were left alone during some sightseeing days and had no way of communicating which was a safety concern.
