Thus is a lovely establishement. Friendly, clean and large. I had Cici and she did a great job on my nails. She had a good balance of small tlk, not too chatting and not asking nosey questions. The selection of polish colors is eternal. They do polish, gel and SNS. The prices are reasonable and very good for the area. I took off a star because I am use to washing my hands during the process, and that did not happen. With covid going on I feel it is a minimum to have customer wash hands before starting. Y'all PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE. PLEASE. Absolutely terrible. I never write reviews but i'm horrified. This place deserves 0 stars. I took my 7 year old sister with me to get pedis and gel manicures. Pedis we're fine but manicures - omg. When removing my old gel the woman filed my nails down so far it hurt and as you can see in the pictures I will post my nails are SO weak underneath. I also think the gel polish had bad chemicals in it or something idk ?? I left with a purple color which has now turned into a mucky gross color. The true horror is what lies underneath. My nails are destroyed. You can see the ridge where she filed my nails so thin with the drill. They hurt so much and so weak. I'm scared to see what the rest of my nails will look like when removing. I always get gel and have never experienced this. It has been one week since I got them done and my nails are WRECKED underneath. Not to mention EXTREMELY OVERPRICED. Cant believe I paid over 70 dollars for my mani pedi that absolutely destroyed my nails. (Paid almost $150 for me AND my 7 year old sister which is insanity) Not to mention - apparently gel manicure for children is $35 and they spent 20 minutes on her. ABSURD. I was very disappointed with today's visit, that I can't wait even an hour to leave a review. They were very kind to have accommodated my booking on the same day, but the outcome was so ugly. There are no words to put it. It was just ugly. I went back here because my first SNS experience with them was very pleasant. Today was so different. Everything done to me by the technician felt so rushed. My nails were only dipped twice, when previously it was dipped thrice. The base seems to have been unevenly applied so now the colors aren't even. Even the texture isn't pretty. My left thumb even have that smeared acetone color. My fingers look sloppy and dirty; it doesn't look like it's professionally done. I don't know if it was because she's not an expert at SNS, or if because she was distracted from the phone call she entertained while tending to my nails. Looking at it makes me so sad; I am sure to go back to my original place and won't be returning here. I wish I had more time to stay, express my disappointment, and have it corrected but I had to go back to work. The two stars is for the lady that gave me a really good leg massage, Carmen. She's still a little slow for my pace, but the extended leg massage worked wonders for me. I will not be returning to this establishment. It was not worth my money. read more

Went here today bc my teenage daughter made us appointments. We are new to the area and looking for "our nail place". Spoiler alert this isn't it. I got a pedicure which was okay but the gel manicure was horrendous. Instead of putting on two regular coats of polish the lady painted so many tiny thin coats that led to uneven application. My nails look thick in some spots and thin in others. My cuticles are jagged and uneven. I asked her to fix one and she was so rough and made me bleed that I just gave up and accepted the loss. If you can't paint short nails with tight lines, even polish application and clean cuticles you shouldn't be doing nails. That's like day one stuff. Won't return and won't recommend. read more

I decided to try this nail salon on a whim on a Wednesday evening. When I called ahead to make an appointment for a gel manicure, I was helped by a super sweet woman (presumably the owner?) on the other end of the phone. She accommodated my request with no problems whatsoever. Upon arrival, I was greeted by the same woman with a smile. My nail tech, Gabby, was ready and waiting for me. Gabby was SO sweet and patient. I had a couple requests and she addressed them without making me feel as if I was too demanding. The salon is very spacious so you don't feel as if you're sitting on top of the next client. Everything is clean, you're given disposable buffer and file, and tools are taken out of packaging right before you. My nails came out beautifully. I am SO pleased with my overall experience, I plan to make this my new full-time salon. read more

The worst manicure I ever received. I went there and got dip nail polish hearing that it would for 3 weeks, perfect as I was going on vacation. Less than a week passed and my nails began to chip. I went back and got the nail fixed l, the next day I had to go back AGAIN because more began to chip. The manager said they would completely re do my nails since the lady that did them did a "horrible job". I got my nails redone and Majority of them are already chipped (once again it took less than a week for them to chip). Complete waste of $40 and a ton of aggravation and time going back and forth for them to be fixed. I am now on vacation with horrendous looking nails and nothing I can do sbo Update: The manager was so nice and willing to rectify the situation. I've been bouncing around nail salon to nail salon just because I like to keep my options opens in case my usual nail lady is busy and I am in dire need of some nail magic (oops, long run-on). I came for the first time today for a pedicure and fill in. They were able to get me in last minute. They were also very nice. I used to work in a nail salon, and I can tell you that everyone has their own technique on doing nails. In Vietnamese salons, the drill is life...and what I found in Korean salons (I've only been to two...) is that the nail filer is life. Which, I honestly prefer. My pedicure came out nice, although it did get smudged a bit..(completely my fault, I assumed my toes were dry after fill in, so didn't bother checking...oops, good thing it's a dark color so it's not really noticeable). When you go dry your toes, they give you a mini shoulder/neck massage, which is a plus! Jenny did my fill in and did an awesome job, although I did get nicked a tiny bit from the file, but nothing too crazy. The color and design came out great. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she delivered. Price is also reasonable. I recommend. :) Yay, I now have a place to practice my Korean. Kamsahamnida! read more

They had a gel color labeled wrong and instead of admitting it, the woman kept trying to tell me The bright blue was the same as the dark color I picked. Then she was so annoyed that I made her take the color off she wouldn't even speak to me. She just used the electric file Extremely hard and fast to scrape off the gel to the point I had to tell her it hurt and she still said nothing. I don't want anyone to be fooled by the highish rating for this place. It's VERY hit or miss. Your manicure/pedicure is completely dependent on who you get. I've been 4 times now. The first time was amazing. The second time I got a horrible manicure. The third time was horrible. This last time my nails are good. I would like a bit more consistency in a nail place. I had a great experience today at Eden Nail & Spa. I was promptly taken in at my appointment time which was great. Some salons will do appointments but still make you wait. My nail tech was so sweet and very good at what she does. I showed her a picture of almond shaped nails and she gave me the exact perfect shape. Alot of places will just give you an awkward round shape or just too pointy, but my nails came out perfect. Also, she didn't use tip!!! She sculpted my nails to my desired length, which truly showed off her skill. Lastly, the salon was very neat and clean and I will gladly be returning. I came in today based on other yelpers reviews and was pleased with the decor and setup. There was an accident on the parkway on my way there I called and there was no problem changing my appointment for 15 minutes later. As soon as I got there I was quickly seated for my gel manicure. I think the technician was Heidi. She really didn't speak to me. The manicure is great she cleaned my cuticles by hand not with the drill bc the drill hurts. Towards the end of the manicure the right lamp stopped working. I tried telling the technician but she was talking to her coworkers and had to repaint my top coat because she wasn't listening about the lamp not working and removed the top coat with the alcohol. But it was super quick and she fixed it. When I was done she got up and left. I needed my pedicure and no one directed me on who I was supposed to go to. So I just went to the first girl with an open chair. She was very nice. Paid close attention to what I said I wanted and my pedicure was just as excellent as the manicure. They both look great. I really didn't appreciate the complete lack of customer service from the nail tech. I gave her a smaller tip than my pedicurist because she was much more welcoming. Being bilingual myself it's extremely rude to speak in front of people in your own language when your client can't understand you and they're trying to speak to you and you're too busy carrying on a conversation of your own in order to hear the client. I didn't have a terrible experience but there's plenty other good salons in the area. read more

I had gel extensions done in NYC and couldn't make it back to get them removed. So my friend booked us a same day appt here to get our nails done. I asked for a soak off as that is what they do in my usual salon. I was seated with a technician who didn't seem to know what to do and I was bounced around to two other different technicians before I ended up with my original technician from the beginning. I was not getting a good feeling of this place. My natural nail is very thin and therefore I did not want to have my extensions drilled off as the last time I did, they drilled too much and damaged my nail and were brittle for months until they grew out. I don't think they had the right formula to soak my extensions off but the girl very carefully soaked my nails and drilled off my extensions without damaging my natural nail for which I am very thankful. I'm not sure why the nj salons don't really seem to know how to remove Japanese gel extensions. I got a regular gel manicure after and I was switched to a different technician again. I showed her a picture of the kind of effect I wanted which was a sheer glitter. And she put so many coats of gel the effect was lost. She did do a great job in applying the gel polish but I'm bummed she didn't even try to give me what I asked for. I also discovered polish on my fingertips somehow after my manicure was over but they were easily peeled off the next day. I think I'll stick to my regular salon for extensions and removal but I would come here for a regular manicure if I need it. Also the UV lamps were kind of dirty and needed to be cleaned. read more

What a rip off! I have never been ripped off so boldly in all of my 62 years! My two daughters and I had appts for "regular pedicures". As soon as we walked in the woman there started pressuring to upgrade to "spa pedicures". When I asked the prices she said "spa with 20 minute massage-$59 dollars. Spa with 60 minute massage- $69. After her relentless obnoxious badgering, (seriously she would not let up on the hard sell!) we finally agreed to spa with 20 minute massage. The pedicures were mediocre. When it was time to pay she charged us $69 each. I asked her why and she said "because we use honey-$69" . I never asked for honey and there was no explaining that the honey they used was not a part of the spa pedicure. The worst part was when we gave her the tip (each technician got $7) she had the nerve to say "$7 not enough tip. You have to pay more tip". I said excuse me? And she repeated that it was not enough . I wanted to take back the $7, but I didn't. Usually you do not tip the owner of a business anyway . So she used pressure, deceit, and nerve to make herself more money and instead she got another shitty review and a guarantee that at least 3 Potential customers will never be back. Seriously some freakin nerve!! Do not go to Eden Nails in Westfield! Wish I read the other reviews before we went there. That woman (the owner I think ) is a rude and obnoxious liar. read more

I've been coming here for a bit now and have been getting regular pedis and SNS. I loved the way Sunny has done my SNS in the past. One my most recent visit Suzy did my SNS. Awful experience. I had to ask her to file down the extra thick SNS and even after explaining that it was TOO MUCH, it was like I was asking for too much or I was crazy for asking. My nails look so uneven and somehow my one nail color looks like it's a different than the rest. There's even some bumps on the side of the nails. Such a sloppy job! After voicing how unhappy I was, I was told to come back NEXT WEEK. I leave for vacation tomorrow and will be traveling with these on my fingers .... if it wasn't for the pedicures, I might have given 1 star. read more

Loved the service. Melissa was my nail technician. I got the hot stone pedicure and the gel manicure. I'd say the pedicure was a 6, the manicure was a 3.5 or 4, but overall this place is a 5. It's clean, the atmosphere is professional. Would be a great place to bring a big group! Next time I want to get a massage! read more

Would never go back here. Went a few years ago for a gel mani & pedi which was fine so I needed a full set on a Sunday when all my regular salons were closed so I figured I'd try here again. Sat down at the first table (maybe owner of salon?) and she stuck this rounded shape tip on my nails when I wanted sharp corners & coffin shape ...... Shape was horrendous. She didn't file down to what I asked for and when I asked her to keep filing or fix the shape she ignored me and moved onto the next nail. Then had the audacity to charge me $95. I have no issue paying for quality service but this full set wasn't even worth $30. Horrible horrible horrible. Pic is how it looked right after. Stopped by walgreens on my way home to get a file and shape them myself. Now today, 5 days after, my whole gel chipped off my thumb. So ugly. Regret paying cash bc I would have reversed the charge on my cc so lucky them. read more
