Dealing w/last minute wedding funners, I was out shopping at Old Orchard & stopped in here for an ice cold Dr. Pepper. I walked in and the clerk (probably the owner, older guy) was VERY nice & pleasant to me. I dropped 1 of the pops I was purchasing & he immediately told me it was ok to exchange it for an unshaken 1. Not much to say. It's a gas station. It sells gas. It's good gas. No problems with the gas. They have a repair shop. I wouldn't really know much about it since I only slip in to get gas and an occasional lottery ticket or cheetos. It's easy in and out. They explain the workings of the car clearly and what is happening with the car that it now needs to be repaired. They accept and understand my need of preventative maintence and my question of "what is next to watch for, to repair or replace". For 16 years my guys have been very good to me and my car. Total ripoff !!! DO NOT GIVE THIS PLACE YOUR MONEY!!! Paid for the gas. After driving about a block, neither the tank nor the computer registered the gas. Pulled into the station with 24 miles on the computer (and the gas gauge just above empty) and upon noticing the problem about a block away, returned with 24 miles on the computer (and the gas gauge not having moved). Showed the employee Tony the problem and he insisted that the gas was pumped. Told him that it appears nothing came out of the pump. Spoke to Tim, the owner, who said that gas was pumped. Tim tried to suggest some crazy reasoning about the car facing east and the decline of five degrees on the land. Then said that there is something wrong with the car. Then said no one else has complained, all of which I find hard to believe. Told him that upon purchasing gas at a different station the tank and the tank and the computer registered the intake. His response? "Well of course it registered, you had gas in the tank". This is absolutely the worst gas station! Totally dishonest! There's another station just east where you will likely be treated fairly and honestly. I'm only glad that I didn't get ripped off for more money. read more

My first vehicle had a slow leak in one of the tires and they diagnosed it as unable to repair since it was in the sidewall. Though they offered to replace it, but since it was rather new tire bought from Costco, they said to check with them to get a replacement at a lower cost, and didn't even charge me for the service. My second vehicle needed to have the gear oil in the transfer case and rear differential changed since it was probably still the original stuff in there. They were very quick and priced very reasonably, saved me the hassle of DIY. The staff was very courteous, honest, and professional. I wouldn't hesitate to go back to them again. read more

I have been fortunate to find this gem of a repair shop..I had Good Year (Acorn Tires) tell me I needed 4000 worth of work needed. My husband urged a second opinion. I went here. Turns out everything Acorn Tires told me was nothing but falsehoods! They even used scare tactics on me by telling me my vehicle was unsafe to drive. This couldn't be farthest from the truth. Bobby gave my vehicle a thorough examination and found NOTHING wrong with it! He was even showed the written estimate by Good year and did Not utilize this to take advantage of my vulnerability. Because of this I hired them to change my timing chain. A very expensive necessary maintenance that was 90,000 miles overdue. Everywhere else wanted over 900. Here? 790! I can't tell you what a blessing it is to have found a shop that walks in integrity, honesty, and affordability. Not to mention the peace of mind given by knowing I don't have to second guess. My car broke down on me while I was driving on the Edens. I was able to coast off of the Edens and into this gas station. I worked with Bobby, and he was great. He walked me though what he was going to do with my car. I told him I had a ceiling on what I was willing to pay, so he went through all the options. His patience and professional attitude was a huge help through this challenging ordeal. I was happy and lucky to have made it into this station.
