It's a beautiful hotel, and the people are very friendly. . The hotel is close to everything in town. There is very easy access to interstate 5, there is a Walmart nearby, the hotel is very close to Harry and David, and there are lots of great dining and shopping opportunities around town. The hotel also has a guest Laundry, which is very reasonably priced. I check in, and because I have status, they gave me a room upgrade, and they also gave me a choice of a goodie, or bonus points. I can get a goodie anywhere, so I took the bonus points. On top of that, I still got a cookie and a bottle of water. It was a good cookie! The room was very good, up to IHG standards. A large room, everything was spotless, a fridge, a microwave, a walk-in shower, a desk to work or do stuff with my laptop, if you don't have a laptop with you, but you still need to do some work, they have computers available in the lobby The Wi-Fi was plenty fast, and there were plenty of places to charge my gear. There was a couch with a hide a bed, although I didn't need it, and the bed was large and extremely comfortable. I got a good night sleep. Breakfast was excellent in the morning, as I always get at Holiday Inn express. Sausage, bacon, scrambled eggs, a pancake machine, as well as their excellent biscuits and gravy. They also had the cinnamon rolls which they are known for. A good way to start the day and get me going. They also have the coffee machine, where they don't even grind the beans, until you push the button for your cup of coffee. Top-notch. I normally stay at IHG Holiday Inn Express locations when I travel as I'm a platinum rewards member and get points for future stays and free room upgrades. This location was easy enough to find with GPS, but other wise just go south on Center Drive and when you see the Walmart on the right, turn left and go down the little street to the hotel. Plenty of parking available. We arrived a little too early and the rooms weren't ready yet, official check in is 3 pm, but we thought we might get in early, so we waited over at the Starbucks right near the hotel. I get a call the rooms are ready, so the front desk is on the ball! As the crew unloads all our stuff out of the big rental SUV, I do the check in and it all goes smooth. We get our keys and go to our rooms. My room was clean and nice and the first thing I check is the WiFi. It's working fine and I can get work done. The connection is fast enough to stream Netlix or whatever, but I gotta work so no time to stream stuff! The rest of the room is clean and the bathroom is fine and everything works and no stray hairs that weren't my color! The coffee maker worked fine as well. Breakfast is included n the mornings and it was hot and tasty as usual and the selection was just about the same as all the Holiday Inn Express locations. Hot choices as well as breads to toast and cereal if you want that. This is a good location of the Holiday Inn Expresses and I'd stay here again. None of my crew had any complaints either.

A great selection of hot and cold options. The bar/restaurant/pool all closed at 10 pm so this place is more family friendly than the name might suggest. The room was warm and the colors were chosen well. I particularly enjoyed the green accent wall behind the TV. There was a comfy chair and a nice rug by the bed. It's paradise and I highly recommend anyone to stay there who is looking for a beautiful getaway near Ashland and its surrounding areas. The owner's, Annette and Brian, are wonderful hosts and pour their heart and soul into the place. They are extremely friendly and their hospitable touches are everywhere. The spacious studio, which is actually more like a one bedroom, is nicely arranged with books, local information, and decorations. They provide all the morning necessities like coffee, tea, and breakfast food. You'll feel right at home! On the property, there is also a very quaint wine tasting room that is leased by the winery adjacent to their property called Pebblestone Winery. The wine is very good, but it's the setting and hospitality that will make your trip memorable. Apparently, they can host weddings, a wondeful place for a special event. Wisteria is perfectly located to reach the surrounding area. It's an easy 10 minute drive to downtown Ashland. The drive to historic Jacksonville is about 15 minutes drive through some amazing, rolling vineyards. My only regret about writing this review is letting my secret out. We asked for ketchup and the guy said he would look for some when he wasn't busy. He did finally slap a big bottle down on the table well after we were finished. Normally on any other day, I wouldn't have a problem serving myself but it was Mother's Day. I did not want to do all that. I hope for them in the future, they make the Mother's Day Brunch better staffed and thoughtful for the mothers and families who come. As a result, you need to share a tiny middle table between the beds which is largely occupied by the phone and clock. 2. The USB A charging ports on the center table didn't work. 3. Door deadbolt remains extracted when you exit, so you need to manually toggle it from the inside. 4. One very bright light over center table so if one person doesn't want it, too bad. And the two over the bed lights don't work if you toggle off one of the bathroom light switches. 5. No cotton ear swabs, bad hair dryer. 6. Security door to the parking lot only sporadically latches. 6. Refrigerator and AC are loud...noise from people walking in room above ours was VERY loud. There was also an appetizing spread of finger foods, charcuterie, and crudités. A live music group with a nice repertoire of memorable tunes gave people a reason to dance. Toward the end of the event, when activities started to slow, Linda provided a tour of the indoor space with casks.
