I had a great dining experience at Prime Steakhouse & Piano Bar. Everything we ordered was well executed and the service throughout the meal was attentive and welcoming. We started with the lobster and crab bisque, which was excellent. It was rich and flavorful, and what really stood out were the generous pieces of lobster and crab in the soup -- a great touch that made the dish feel indulgent and satisfying. The ahi tuna tartare was another highlight. The sear on the tuna was remarkable, giving it a beautiful texture while keeping the inside fresh and delicate. It was balanced, clean, and very enjoyable. For the main course, we shared the 16 oz ribeye, cooked perfectly medium rare just as ordered. The steak was tender, juicy, and full of flavor. We paired it with sautéed spinach, which was simple but very well prepared and complemented the steak nicely. Overall, the food, service, and execution were all solid. Amazing steak & seafood with life music! Service was great, seated right away. We really enjoyed this dinner as a family. We had the filet mignon, dry aged rib eye, regular rib eye, salmon, and scallops. Then shared all of these sides, wedge salad, garlic mashed potatoes, creamed spinach, and truffle Mac and cheese. I'm really disappointed to say that my recent visit to Prime Steakhouse in Park City was the worst dining experience I've ever had. This is especially frustrating because I've been coming here for years and have always enjoyed great food and excellent service. This time, everything went wrong. Our dinner order was never placed, and we were left waiting with no communication. No one checked on us, and no one offered an apology. The situation became even more uncomfortable when our waitress was visibly upset and in tears, blaming the issue on other staff members. The lack of professionalism from management was shocking. One of the managers, Sean, was especially condescending and rude to us throughout the experience. When our bill finally came, it included multiple items we never ordered, which only added to the frustration. We sat at one of the high top tables in the bar area because we've always enjoyed listening to  the live piano.  Even Tom, the bartender, was also very rude. He got into a heated argument with my friends. The Manager told him to keep quiet, the situation continued to escalate.  What happened to one my favorite restaurant's? It's clear that Prime Steakhouse has seriously gone downhill. Unfortunately, after this experience, I won't be returning and can't recommend it to others. read more

Disappointed doesn't even begin to describe my first visit to Prime Steak house. We have family visiting, and while we eat mostly whole food plant based, we will stray with high quality fish especially when folks are visiting. Despite being shoulder season, our server completely blanked on our starters. He came by and said our fish would take a while, and then we mentioned the appetizers. We got a free drink, but the fish came and another server said she would take it back and bring a new piece of fish after our starters. Our guest took his steak. So began how our entire dining experience was off course. After apps, the SAME fish came back. ICK and dry. Sent back and then we had to wait for another piece of fish. It wasn't great. Side of mushrooms was also pretty bad. Our guest liked his steak, but really for the money and service fails... I dont think we will be adding Prime steak to our rotation of restaurants to visit with guests. read more

We go back years with Prime Steak House on Main Street in Park City. The food is good. The service has consistently gone down hill for an upscale steak house. The management has also changed a few times (and the new management could care less about the long time patrons). There was one male person in charge the night we were there with a party of 11 and he was beyond worthless and obviously working in the wrong industry. Our server was horrible and she did not cater to our table, alway having to ask for water or drinks. She took our order and that was about it. The ambiance is small but nice. Our entire table who have been coming here for years all agreed that this was the last time to come here AND it's all because of how management and staff operate. Another great experience at Prime for my birthday. Service was attentive without being overbearing and she was on top of it with having 5 tables with a party of 20! Waitress explained the menu and some off menu items. Drinks came out quickly and very strong. We ordered a wedge to start. And then ordered the Australian Wagyu NY Strip. It was amazing. Medium rare. Melt in your mouth and had some great flavor. If you've never had Australian wagyu, I'd highly recommend. We also got the stuff and turf which was a nice 7oz filet and a fat lobster tail. Side we got the garlic mashed potatoes, macaroni, and creamed spinach. All very tasty. Had the Molten chocolate cake for dessert and it so decadent and rich. It's a great place to have dinner after a good day on the mountain. Located on Main Street, it is beautiful this time of year. The service was excellent. Esmeralda, our server, was friendly and had a smile the entire evening. The piano bar made for a great atmosphere. Steakhouses are tough for me to review. My wife cooks the best steaks I've ever had and being from Nebraska, she knows her meat. But last night we had a date night and wandered into Prime. Now, Park City is a destination city so prices are going to be higher... get it. But quality should be next to price. I think. Pretty place right across from the in city lift with inside and patio dining. So great apre ski spot in winter. Last night was really hot so we sat inside. Started with a glass of wine. Wine prices are high...$26 for a glass of nice Chard? Bread was good and then we were told by our server Andres that Crab cakes were the best. If we didn't love them, they are free. They were the best thing we had. We split a Rib Eye and mine was way undercooked, but my wife's was good. Baked potato and some beans. $200 out the door. I should have been more blown away. But fun night thanks to a young guy named Franklin. He made our night. Clever and on it. I'd imagine on a cool night with music, this is the place to be. read more

Great food, great service & a nice vibe to the place. To start I ordered the beet salad. It was presented in a way that I've never seen before & it's my favorite salad, if it's on the menu I'm ordering it. The beets were sliced & wrapped around the cheese in a big ball ... ? It made the cheese pancake in the middle purple which made the cheese look really unappealing. I put it on a side plate & didn't eat it. For dinner I ordered one of the specials, the wagyu filet. It was supposed to be 7oz, but it was huge. I couldn't even finish it. It was cooked to perfection. Husband had the lobster bisque & it was super think. More like a gravy than a soup. He enjoyed it, he would order it again. For dinner he had the scallops. He didn't realize they was served over spinach, which he's allergic to, so his dinner was a smaller portion. He chose not to say anything to the server, he just picked off our plates. I'm sure if he had he would've been accommodated no problem. He said the scallops were buttery soft, cooked to perfection. Didn't even offer me a bite lol. We were there with two friends one ordered the wagyu ribeye & the other the surf & turf. They both seemed very satisfied with their meal. As sides we got the truffle Mac, mashed potatoes & the veggie kabob. I love me some veggies, they're the main part of my diet, but they were not flavored at all. It was a bit of a letdown. The boys sung the praises of of the Mac n cheese. Our server was great, she was very attentive & enthusiastic about the industry she worked in. Was odd because this is the only place in Park City that required that and they said it was a state law. Hmmmmm. We went to 5 other establishments and this was the lowest on the drink preparation. We had such an incredible meal and experience here celebrating some things, in particular our dog Gerbert's birthday! And who doesn't love a great steak? BIG shoutout to Tyler who gave us a free yummy chocolate molten lava cake with vanilla ice cream to celebrate. It made our night, and especially Gerbert, whose head was covered in vanilla ice cream by the end. The sweetest. That's what we'll remember about this meal. Tyler made it an experience. That's what we got with their crazy flavorful, rich, tender juicy bone-in aged ribeye and their delicious New York strip. If you're debating, get the bone-in ribeye. We came here for my friends birthday! It was absolutely delicious. I took photos of the appetizers but forgot to take a photo of our meals. The appetizers were amazing! The crab cakes and the scallops were my favorite. For dinner we each ordered a steak. I got the 7 oz petite filet cooked medium rare with a side of pepper corn sauce, that was plenty enough food! It was so delicious, I recommend getting that sauce too! For sides we ordered creamed spinach, mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese. I think the sides were all good as well. The hostess Tiffany was extremely rude and told me " that is not something we would tell someone over the phone". And she refused to take my order. My fiancé and I went to Prime Steak House for the first time this past weekend. We've eaten at many amazing restaurants in Park City, but after last night, we agreed Prime Steak House was the best meal we've ever had in Park City. The atmosphere was different than we expected, and it was a lot more casual and low key. However, the live music and the service was great. We really enjoyed the green sides we ordered - including the green beans (which were seasoned beautifully) and the artichoke. The cocktails were also great, and we really loved both of our martinis. The rib eye came out too hot, but once it cooled down a little, it was delicious and prepared perfectly. Lots of flavor! The garlic mashed potatoes were insane and probably the best mashed potatoes we've ever had. Would highly recommend adding the aged cheddar to them. The mashed potatoes were definitely the highlight of our meal! The best thing about our entire meal was the chocolate molton cake in the end. We've had many molton lava cakes before, but none even come close to how incredible Prime Steak House's was. While it does take 10+ minutes to come out, it's 100% worth the wait. It was melt-in-your-mouth and delicious. The ice cream on the side was unlike anything we've tried before - it was so light, airy, creamy. As someone with celiac disease, I also appreciated that they had such an amazing gluten free dessert option. Overall, we were really blown away by Prime Steak House. Nine of us were looking for a dinner reservation for 12/27, and finally got one with Prime at 8:45 pm. On the day, they called at 6 pm to see if we could go early, we ended up going at 8 pm. The restaurant was not filled at all. I wonder if there were a lot of no shows. Food was mainly steaks. We started with appetizers-crab cakes, bacon wrapped scallops, calamari, all were delicious . For dinner we ordered filet, Bone in Ribeyes and sirloin. The ribeyes were huge! We also got creamed spinach and mushrooms for sides. Desserts were chocolate martinis, lava cakes and a cheesecake. I was visiting my daughter in Utah and we went to prime steakhouse for dinner. The ambience is beautiful. The bar is filled with beautiful live music, the staff is professional and friendly , not to mention the most amazing menu. We ordered Wagyu and the prime steak with sides of creamed spinach, mashed potatoes, mac & cheese with truffle oil, and a wedge salad. We also had crab cakes and shrimp cocktail. The apps, mains and sides were truly all amazing! It was all memorable and such a great place to have a beautiful meal with people you love. Prime steakhouse was absolutely delicious! The steak was cooked to perfection and came out still sizzling on the hot plate. The calamari was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside and all the sides were tasty! I ordered the black peppercorn sauce for my steak and it was a match made in heaven. When the server found out it was my birthday, they immediately had me pick a dessert on the house! We sat in the piano bar so there was live music playing the whole time. Even having to sit on high tops, it was still a very elegant setting - especially being able to look out the windows to downtown Park City. We for sure will be coming back to Prime again! read more
