The rooms are right on the Rogue River. There are opportunities for salmon fishing, kayaking and rafting nearby. This is the best location.

Nice rooms, friendly staff. We've stayed here a few times and like its proximity to crater lake. It's on the rogue, which is awesome.

Our room had a kitchenette, but we didn't use it and the Mexican restaurant across the river was really good.

We took a flyer and reserved two nights at Riverfront Lodging. That was a great decision! First off, Dana helped me with the reservation and she was delightful from the first interaction and was so pleasant and helpful during our stay. They were booked up already for the three riverfront rooms but she put us in room 15, which was great. The room has dedicated parking right outside room (all rooms are on ground level as this is a small property). The room had been recently remodeled, smelled and looked clean and inviting. Laminate flooring, a small fridge, a Keurig type coffee maker with several pods and a sink. Unlike the noisy AC units in your typical hotel, this room had a wall unit that was quiet and worked great. The bed was comfortable and they provide plenty of pillows, an extra blanket and lots of pristine white towels. I was really impressed! We didn't have to call for any extras because they thought of everything...even a charging station at each nightstand! In addition, there is a lovely guest deck for sitting and enjoying the river. We will definitely reserve with with them again and Room 15 was a good option if the riverfront rooms aren't available.

So when you book your two nights stay, I strongly suggest you pop down to pizza at the Cove for the best Stonefire pizza I've ever eaten. Happy to see a comfortable sized bedroom & bathroom. We're always happy to see no carpeting. smoking nor pets. Enjoyed the organic bath products. We heard the lull of traffic noise, but it wasn't bad, surely not city noise. There were not car alarms, noisy motorcycles nor the slamming of car doors. Our only issue was the lighting, our room felt very dark. The back windows looked out on a trailer park and the front out onto the road and parking lot, so we couldn't open the blinds.

Very overdue review: We stayed here this past summer and had such a great impression of the place - The fact that I still remember that we wanted to share our experience 6 months later is a testament to how great it was! The room was spotless, very comfortable, and even had little amenities like packaged soaps and shampoos, which was way more than I was expecting given the very affordable price. It's a bit of a drive from Crater Lake if you're coming to visit that, but definitely worth it over the expensive, isolated hotels closer to the lake (which were all swarming with mosquitos!). To top everything off, we had some car trouble the morning we were supposed to leave and the owners were so nice and helpful throughout the entire stressful experience. They let us wait in our room as long as they could let us after our checkout time while roadside assistance came and told us we were welcome to snack on the cherries from their beautiful cherry tree they had out front. What ended up saving us was the fact that they're very conveniently right next to an auto parts store which had exactly the tools we needed (very long story, but roadside assistance didn't end up helping). Highly recommend!

Not really an obnoxious traffic noise. The rest of the stay .....meh. Check in was fine, efficient and courteous. The desk clerk didn't go out of his way to make us feel welcome or anything, but that's ok given the age we live in. Noone goes oit of their way to be friendly anymore. One of the room keys didnt work when we got to the room, but that wasn't an issue really, since the second key worked fine. Upon entering the room, we were immediately met with a strong "mopped floor with dirty wet mop" smell. You know the smell i mean. The pillows (or maybe the sheets?) also smelled ....uncleaned. Not fresh at all. On our return home from a long day in the sun, neither of the room keys worked. We were also locked out of using the door to the elevator so we had to schlep our weary bodies around the length of the hotel parking lot to the front desk where we were greeted with a " I'll be right back sign" at the front desk. Yup. We had to wait in the non air conditioned lobby for the front desk person to get back. It was the icing on the cake of a bad experience. When we returned to our room, my husband racked his elbow on an obtrusively placed cabinet causing a bloody bruise to swell up. The cabinet placed, mind you, not at the center of the wall between two beds to allow safe passage into the room, but on the foot of one bed, in the entranceway. Picture below. This property has been our favorite for years. They recently changed ownership. The staff walks around like zombies and never crack a smile. If they dont want to be there, then why should we come back? Especially now that the property has had a blood sacrifice. Such a shame. Because I'd do almost anything just for the view.

The inside space was very interesting with museum areas explaining rooms and the history on the inn. The food was ok, nothing amazing but pretty good. The Inn is historic and beautiful and Jack London's room was so fun to see as I fell in love with reading Jack London's stories. I enjoyed the history of the Inn, the fact that there are no televisions, the patio and balcony for guest night t to mention the games and puzzles and tables in the room where I could work on my travel art journal. Peaceful, tranquil, and in a hey setting, the Wolf Creek Inn is a place I would come back to. The restaurant/tavern is good and we ate all of our meals here. The wedge salad, Cuban sandwich and the biscuit breakfast sandwich with sausage were our favorites. Everyone is incredibly accommodating and nice who works there and we even got to chat with several of the other guests because it is a small and intimate place. When my husband and I ordered a mixed drink not on the menu, Nancy was happy to mix it up for us. When we asked for recommendations for places to walk, we got some amazingly beautiful walks within the area. If I'm ever back here, I would be overjoyed to stay again! Thank you for a relaxing pause on our vacation!
