My husband had ordered me things sent to my job from here a few times. Always been good. I decided to order something as a Christmas gift. It was tasty however I have to note to be prepared to pick up your order when you say you will because of there are no other pickups scheduled they will close whenever they want. I scheduled my pickup for 3pm because my son said he would pick it up for me. He decided not to get around to it (which is not cool but between him and me) so I planned to go after work as they close at 6. I received a called at 5 telling me if i don't show up in 10 mins I have to come back tomorrow. On Christmas Eve. Next to the mall. Would reduce a star for that but I'll give it back since I called pretty upset about it and they said they would stay until I got there. I did have to leave work right away after that phon call so luckily it wasn't busy at work and I'm able to leave early sometimes. I didn't know our friends had an entry gate and felt bad for the driver. However, after much texting and phone calls, he managed to deliver the goodies after all. My daughter bought me a couple of fruit arrangements from here for my wedding anniversary to my late husband. The personal card was nice but they really dropped the ball when it came to the fruit. What she ordered and what she received was totally different. She ordered strawberries and 3 cheesecakes along with an arrangement that had melon, pineapple and not strawberries. They gave her all strawberries and a whole bunch of cheesecakes. She didn't know until she gifted them to me and I opened them up. She called the store and asked if she could get what she actually ordered. She was told that they would charge her more money because the cheesecake cost more. Keep in mind that is not what was ordered. She asked for a refund since she spent over $100. There was no manager there and the employee told her that no manager ever came to the location. Maybe they need to since these kind of mistakes cost the business money. She was given $15 back and this is not acceptable to us. She will not be doing any business with this company again nor will I. She complained to the BBB and the business just ignores the complaint. Have ordered from here before and service has been great, but it's been a year or two...ordered this morning a surprise arrangement for my cousins birthday and it was suppose to be delivered to her job. Got a notification that my order was out for delivery at 12pm AND that I had only 2 orders/stops infront of my mine...WRONG. I would check in periodically on the delivery map to see where my order was at...from 12pm-2pm the driver had not moved. Finally at 3pm I called the store and they told me that I was the next stop and to not worry about it. 3:30 hits and driver is in a different town and has still not delivered my order. Called again at 4pm and was told that because I ordered the day of( I ordered at 9am), that my order was taking longer to be delivered because the driver had 9 other orders. Which didn't make sense since the tracker said I only had 2 orders ahead of me....gentleman at the store told me that next time I need to call and let them know the time I want it to be delivered to get the service I want..this whole situation has been very frustrating. I ordered a huge expensive arrangement for my son for Valentine's Day. The product that he received looked NOTHING like the online picture, so I called the store to inquire. They had the audacity to insist that their "designers" not only meet the required amounts for the arrangements, but exceed them. For the particular product I ordered, it was supposed to have 20 chocolate covered and 20 regular strawberries (according to the store), in looking at the picture, there's not even 20 strawberries total let alone of each type! I sent them the pictures but still haven't heard back from them so I'm disputing the transaction on my card. Last time I came to this location I had a horrible experience, got a couple Carmel apples and the inside was rotten down to the stick! I never said anything about it because I honestly didn't want them to be replaced and I didn't hav time to double bk. I ordered the "chocolate dipped indulgence platter" and everything looked ok from the outside of the container...start eating/ inspecting the fruit and it yet again it all looked old, the grapes looked gross, strawberries were alright I guess, the pineapple bites were old dry and really hard...I couldn't even chew into a couple of them they were so hard. Some of the apples had poke marks from in them, as if they were going to be used for Carmel apples at one point but were recycled into making these platters? With those holes in the apples obviously came a lot of bruising and it just makes the fruit look gross. Pretty much on my last straw with this location, especially considering how expensive these arrangements are. Bitting into chocolate covered fruit should be a pleasant experience. Definitely shouldn't have to worry about your fruit being rotten. read more

I was gifted a beautiful bouquet from here all with fresh fruit- strawberries, pineapple, honeydew melon, grapes, and cantaloupe. Incidentally, I had my baby shower that same week and my mother-in-law ordered a beautiful bouquet for the guests. I think they do a beautiful job at arranging the pieces- even cutting the fruit into shapes (e.g., bears, flowers, etc). I do wish they have non-dairy chocolate options as chocolate covered fruit is fabulous! Organic would be nice too, just saying. :) You can arrange for delivery or pick up and customize the tray/pots the fruit comes in. Be careful with this company. I ordered my wife flowers and chocolate covered strawberries two weeks before prior to Valentine's Day. When they delivered the box, they just didn't bring the flowers at all. Unfortunately those specifically were over 100 dollars alone. It was bad enough I was out of the country for V Day, they couldn't come through. I get it and mistakes happen. I ordered an arrangement for a client and the client received the fruit basket and the chocolate cover strawberries. They said the fruit was sour but the chocolate covered strawberries were great. I tried to call to speak with a manager to have them correct the situation and got a young lady on the phone. Who told me that she checked with the girl who put the Items together and she said that the fruit was fresh. I wasn't trying to argue with her. I was just giving her feedback from my client. Since then, I've tried several occasions to reach out to a manager. I did get a call back. But I was still unable to speak with a manager to see if they would correct the situation, they seem to be avoiding me. After this experience, I can not reccommend a purchase at this location. It seems as though they do not want to take responsibility for this very embarrassing delivery. So I received a call back from the manager Joseph. Once we finally connected, Joseph went into intensive explanations of how the customer was wrong. That I sent the fruit too. And how? I was wrong because they had tested the fruit and given it out to many of the businesses locally. So instead of him taking responsibility and letting me know that he was ready to make it right. Whatever needed to be done to make it right reasonably. He continued to try to cut me off in conversation and argue with me. About whether the fruit was good or not. I was not interested in speaking with him about whether the fruit was good or not. I was just trying to make it right for my customer. I will never do business with this man again. And I'm waiting now for the owners to call me and if they do I will remove this Yelp review and give them a fair chance to make it right. read more

Deserves ZERO stars. After being a repeat customer, I received a promotion from Edible Arrangements (corporate) for a free box of chocolate dipped fruit. Following the instructions, called the Carlsbad, CA store at around 9:20AM to redeem. They said that they could not access the corporate order database, so could not enter my promotional order. Rather, they told me to order online, where there was a minimum order to redeem my "free" gift box. So, basically, this store could somehow only access the corporate order database if I spent extra money buying something I did not need or want. When I called back at 10:00AM , they hung up on me. They repeated this a few times. Then, they picked up the phone and set the phone aside without any saying anything. After that, they blocked all calls and sent everything to their automated message that said to call back during normal business hours, which it was. read more
