I was handed a regular dozen and the dozen that had the celebratory donuts mixed with a few plains. I have the app for the deal so I gave my phone number and paid. So quick and easy! Ok, so, I hadn't eaten a classic glazed donut from Krispy Kreme in probably 7 or 8 years, so when I found myself in the same parking lot as one, I couldn't help but to satisfy my sweet tooth. To my surprise, they had special donuts themed for Masters of the Universe! These were not only a fun surprise for my partner, but they were delicious as well. It's been a long, long time since we have bought some Krispy Kreme donuts. We decided to try some after dinner. Overall the staff were friendly but I felt that they were understaffed. My son really enjoyed watching the automated donut machine with the conveyor belt and all of donuts getting made in real time. Of all the Krispy Kreme shops I've ever been to (Midlothian, IL; Summit, IL; Two Locations in Augusta, GA; Both Locations in Savannah, GA; Pooler, GA; Manassas, VA) this is the best Krispy Kreme! It was tasty as always, but the fluffiness and freshness of the donut is really what got me. I've been to all the aforementioned locations around the same time, if not sooner, and never experienced the quality I did here. Im glad they have expanded their menu, but I wish there was even more variety. When I was growing up, we'd go down to the local coffee shop where there were so many different kinds of doughnuts, it was difficult to choose. This place is not like that. I've never been inside their store, so I can't speak to the ambiance or cleanliness of the place. I only use the drive thru. The service has always been friendly. It really should be banned because you can damn near eat a whole dozen to yourself without even chewing especially when they just came out of the fryer. Visited this location recently and was disappointed by the selection. The donut case was full but there were only three options. I asked the woman assisting me if they had anything else and she said no. I asked if they were closing soon, it was 2 p.m., and she told me no again "not until 8". I asked if they were going to make more donuts today and she said nope, that's it. I've never been to a Krispy Kreme that stopped making donuts in the middle of the day.
