Ordered a small arrangement online for a belated Mother's Day gift. The website was very user friendly as well as being representative of the product I ordered. I paid online, as well. When I arrived at the store, parking was plentiful. The store itself sits just south of the former Glendale Mall in a small strip shopping plaza that faces 62nd St. When I entered, I was greeted and didn't even wait a minute to receive my bouquet! There were several other patrons inside, but I did notice the store itself was clean, and the young man who waited on me was quite pleasant. My Mom loved her fruit bouquet and was able to enjoy it for several days. The melon and pineapple were fresh/sweet, and the chocolate covered strawberries were the piece de resistance! I felt the arrangement was a little high in price, but it was beautiful and contained more fruit than I expected. I would order again from this location. read more

I placed an order with Edible Arrangements after being prompted by your digital marketing that promised delivery within one hour. However, about half an hour later, I received a call informing me that delivery would not be possible because the store was closing soon and the driver was no longer available. It's disappointing to be encouraged to place an order based on advertised service only to be asked to cancel shortly afterward. This creates a frustrating customer experience and undermines trust. If one-hour delivery isn't consistently possible, I'd strongly encourage revisiting how it's marketed. At the very least, better communication and customer service should be in place so that expectations align with reality. read more

Placed an online order for delivery for a work party and later cancelled online due to the weather. It was when we were under a travel warning and only emergency travel was allowed. While it was the day prior to scheduled delivery, I figured if I didn't cancel, they would. I mean they wouldn't be able to deliver under the travel warning. Additionally, the order status said it had not been started yet. Received confirmation email of cancellation request and thought I was good to go. Nope, order showed up (but two days after requested delivery date/party date). Driver refused to take the platter back. No communication from store prior. The store claimed they did call and text the number I gave them but say they didn't get an answer. It was the number under the billing information which is a company/landline number. No one tried to contact my cell phone or email that was given as contact information. They refused to refund my credit card claiming they didn't receive the cancellation request. But somehow it was okay to be two days late with the delivery with no communication with the customer and expect full payment on a $200 order? Corporate refused to assist, claiming the decision is with the store manager. read more

I do not recommend this location at all, I went there today February 26, 2025 to purchase a small edible arrangement for my doctor since I just found out that he has Cancer. I went to this location and looked in the Grab and Go section in a small cooler. My wife asked the cashier when was the arrangement made, the cashier Cindee said this morning. We purchased the edible arrangement and went straight to my doctor's office. When I looked down at the arrangement it looked very old and the strawberries looked dark and mushy and there was alot of condensation on the inside of the bag. The lightening in my doctor's office is very bright and different from the lighting in the edible arrangement place. The lightening must be dim there. I am very unsatisfied for purchasing an old edible arrangement that apparently was not made today but maybe yesterday or the day before. All of the fruit looked like it was mushy. The cashier was not being truthful, I'm not sure if she didn't want to make a fresh one or why she wasn't being honest. I will no longer shop at this location and I will not recommend anyone else to use the grab and go section. I initially went to the Greyhound Pass location but they were closed so I had to chose this location and I am so upset and embarrassed that I gave my sickly doctor some old fruit. WOW!! read more

I'm a regular customer. I ordered fruit and cookies on Tuesday to be delivered on today (Thursday). As of 4:15 p.m. there had been no delivery. I called the store and was told that they had a busy day but that's not my problem. I gave the order # and was told that it would go out next. Now if I hadn't called, it's likely that it wouldn't have gone out at all. They didn't hesitate to take my money on time. I'm not happy and may not use them again. No apology or anything. I placed an order for delivery of the 12-count chocolate dipped strawberries with swizzle in the box with the Happy Birthday sleeve for my mother's birthday. There was a mishap, and the order was marked as delivered erroneously, though it had never been delivered. Therefore, my order was canceled, and a refund was issued. A few days later, I unexpectedly received a sincere personal phone call apologizing for my experience. The lady I spoke with went out of her way to make it right by going the extra mile of offering to DELIVER my mother the original order of 12-count chocolate dipped strawberries despite the REFUND! On that same day my mother also received a personal phone call from Megan to set up the unexpected delivery. My mother couldn't stop talking about how kind, thoughtful, and generous it was for them to not only refund the order for their mistake, but then to go ABOVE and BEYOND by still delivering the order! Additionally, Megan was very accommodating to ensure that my mother was at home from her doctor's appointments before attempting to make the delivery. Ignoring the chocolate covered elephant in the room that is, let's be real, over paying for cutout fruit, we have to give a hand to EA because either way - it's still delicious and we're still buying so what gives? Before I sound frugal, let me say I now know it's all in the experience and it now makes sense. It's not about fruit cutouts and shapes but about the little details. From simply choosing your style of fruit bouquets (so many!!) to the people behind the scenes. I had a pleasant experience shopping, in store for once, for my MIL's last minute birthday gift, I was able to stop in (with my one year old!) choose my bouquet, and walk out the door in under an hour. The service was a tad slow at first however once it was my turn I realized they took time with each customer to ensure satisfaction. That's a trade-off I can live with. Our daughter was having a tough (COVID) week -- and this particular Edible Arrangements location was so helpful in creating the perfect pick-me-up bouquet. It was such a magical surprise experience for our daughter. Priceless. I ordered over the phone on Saturday and picked up the bouquet on Sunday. They honored the online reduced price, allowed me to switch from a Mario vase to one that was pretty & grown-up -- plus they offered to apply a $5 off coupon. I give them a call on valentine's and I was told system was down and someone will reach out to me. Keep in mind I placed my order around 11:30a. I was told someone would call me the next day. I explained that I submitted a cancel request, the lady still insisted on trying to deliver the order. I explained that I didn't feel comfortable asking the recipient from their home address since they were working from home today. I went in looking for a fruit arrangement and while the ready made ones they had in the case were out of my budget, they helped me pick out a couple boxes of chocolate covered fruit. They were so nice to me, despite my lack of planning. I'm definitely going to be more prepared for my next party and order in advance. I don't know what cave I've been living in cos I've never had a chocolate covered banana chunk. They were so pretty with half milk and half white chocolate! The lesson here is: buy one box for your party guests, and "forget" to pull the second box out. read more

I placed an online order on 2/4 for pick up on 2/16. They gave me the option to pick up whenever during the day so that made it easy for me to come at my convenience. Unfortunately, once I got there I received my bouquet or fruit but was missing a box of dipped fruit and a balloon I ordered. I let the employee know and she apologized but I had to wait an additional 15 minutes for her to finish the order. One of my close friends had to put their dog down this weekend, suddenly. Being in Chicago and living in a pandemic I felt inclined to send something to make her smile. I ordered an arrangement and a sympathy balloon. I received an email that it was delivered. I hadn't heard from her so I texted her and asked if she was home. She said she was and I told her I sent something. She looked everywhere for it. I called the store, no answer. Left several messages that were never returned until I tweeted at corporate lol great customer service. The next day her neighbor finally brought the basket over from a few houses down with no balloon. I will give them credit they did give me a FIVE DOLLAR refund for that balloon. Called the store again, never heard back. You would think something in the "sympathy" category would be given more effort than this. Absolutely terrible. Tried to send items to gf and mother for mothers day. After attempting to place the order online but running into questions that I needed answered I tried to call the local store 20+ times. Understanding that they are busy, I tried to national number. I got someone on the phone and told him I needed to place an order to two different addresses. I gave him the first item and he asked for my cc. I told him I still had one more oder to give him. He told me that he must run them separately. Seems to me that a multi-million dollar company should have a better system than that but I obliged and gave him my cc. We proceeded with the second order which they were completely unable to accommodate. When I asked why, he told me that they could only do certain items to that address. When I inquired as to which items they could deliver he gave me an answer that perhaps someone who works at corporate might understand but I had no idea what "category" of items were allowed and he was no help in describing. I cancelled and sent flowers instead. Now... as stated earlier, I gave him my credit card info because it had to be two separate transactions, right? But now he needed my cc info for the first order again. He told him I thought we already finalized that order. Now he blames me and says that I wanted them both to be one order. Yes, I did. You told me they couldn't be and therefore I gave you the cc number. So now to get the first order completed "again" I gave him the information. Fast forward to the delivery. A dozen chocolate chip cookies were missing from the order and the flowers were smashed. I called the national number again to report the issues. My report was taken and a case number was provided. They told me if I don't hear anything in 48 hrs to call back. After 48 hrs I had not heard anything so I call again. The first guy tells me that he can't look up a case number and I'm on a number that is private (I'm in Iraq) so he doesn't believe that I'm actually a customer. To be clear, it's not that he attempted to look up the case number, he said his system is not capable of looking up case numbers. I call back and get someone else. I gave her my case number which she enters in her computer. She then asks me for my order number which I provide. She tells me that a refund was already issued. I quickly log in to my cc and find 9.99 refunded. A quick search will tell you that a dozen cookies is 12.99 + tax and no mention of the smashed flowers. I inform her of both these concerns and she explains that the "bundle" is cheaper. I asked that at a min they refund the delivery fee which was only approx 6.00. After putting me on hold again, she told me that there will be nothing else they can do. I asked about the smashed flowers again. She told me there is nothing they can do. I asked for a supervisor. She began to argue harder telling me that none are available but to give her my number and one can call me. I told her I'm in Iraq and don't have a number to give her. She repeated herself several times and I told her I'm willing to wait as I don't have a number to give. She kept repeating herself so I told her she needs to think outside the box. She is dealing with someone who is unable to give her a number, does that mean I'll never be able to speak with a supervisor? I'm on hold... Just spoke to a supervisor who was much more considerate and will hopefully resolve this issue. Kinda funny though... I have to call back because he can't get a hold of the store either. read more

My little sister's birthday was earlier this month. I had already purchased a birthday gift for her, but at the last minute I decided I'd to send her something at her work place. I called Edible Arrangements in Indianapolis, Indiana on the day of her birthday a little after 9:00 AM. I only wish I had asked the gentleman's name who went above and beyond to help me out. I asked if he could make an arrangement for her and have it delivered around 11:00 AM. He helped me pick out an arrangement. It even included chocolate covered strawberries and balloons. He said he would do his best to have it delivered at least by noon. His delivery men don't come in until 11:00 AM. Would you believe I received a text from my sister a little after 11:00 AM to tell me how beautiful and delicious the arrangement was! She had eaten some of her favorites and taken off several she wanted to take home. There was still a lot of fruit on the arrangement. So, she offered the rest to her co-workers. By noon the arrangement was empty! Right after I had received my sister's text I called the store to thank this gentleman. I was told he wasn't in the store at that time.
