Good fruit bouquet but if you have a problem don't call customer care, you will get the run around. It is sad I will not use them again

The chocolate tasted like quality and the pretzel rods and apples were FRESH! Words cannot express how good it was - try it out for yourself. There are so many options beyond what I tried, but these are my staples when I visit. The great news is I have one of these locations close to me, but never experienced it. I hope it tastes as good as this location!

Recently walking down Milwaukee Ave after dinner, we came across this place--we had to stop by during business hours. I called a few days later and talked to Nathan...what a wonderful young guy! When we went in to the cozy shop, to see he and his coworkers, for gifts, they were so helpful. Buying a pre-boxed selection was one option or picking out some truffles, peanut butter "buckets, and other beautiful chocolates. The recipient absolutely loved them, thoroughly enjoying the toffee, the peanut butter confections, and the truffles---the dark chocolate lemon and the red velvet with white chocolate were the big winners! Seriously, think about giving confections and chocolates for the holidays, from this place! It has the small-town feel to it with the help, the location and the selection. Check them out for corporate gifts or personal gifts...they wrap beautifully! See them sooner than later, the holidays will be here before you know it!

The pastry cabinets are filled with all types of yummy goodness. But wait, what if I want breakfast and I am gluten free. According to the menu, they have a gluten free toast. That being said, I highly suspect contamination is a challenge in here. I sat down and was promptly met with what I believe was the owner. She helped clarify some questions I had like is the Swiss cheese on the Paris Special, American Swiss or Emmental since Swiss cheese is only an American thing. It is American Swiss for those asking. When in Rome I guess. The Paris Special is diced ham, eggs, and Swiss cheese on a croissant. I also ordered the diced potatoes with onion. The sandwich was good. Eggs were cooked perfectly, ham was diced out of a bag by the texture of it... it was fine. The croissant was very buttery, but I felt it was so buttery, it lost some exterior texture a fresh croissant may have. The potatoes were very tasty, but were dripping in oil on the plate. One thing that seemed to surprise me was me was the unsweetened iced tea. I felt it had black currant in it. That was lovely! Overall, this place is good. The price was not so great. But it is definitely cheaper than a trip to Paris.

Black banquet tables with black vinyl tablecloth, basic silverware and dinnerware. Outside of storefront is dirty with poor rickety sidewalks. Service was very mediocre. We ordered quiche which was about 4 bites with a mushy crust. Some basic fries on the plate (don't expect Parisian fries w herbs) no garnish. Mom had a flourless chocolate cake which was not the normal way you'd expect it to taste..dry and no raspberries whipcream etc. I skipped dessert. Last photo is my redecorated version!

The friendly guy at the counter said that they are changing their name as per the new storefront sign. This is a casual Mexican bakery with great prices. Loved all food items that I chose & I didn't chose his recommendations so those might even be better. He recommended items with ginger, coconut & traditional delights. We also did not warm up the pastries so that is how delicious the bakery items were Everything was so fresh tasting & hit the spot. I appreciate that things were not overly sweet. Recommended items: -Pineapple empanadas. -This square custard tart with real blueberries in it. -Strawberry churros. I look forward to hikes that will lead me back down this way & trying more yummy items.

To start, there were way more bakery items here than I expected! It was pretty overwhelming, making it difficult to decide what to get (and to figure out what is good). I picked up a variety of different treats: tres leches cake, flan, churros, concha bread, and rice pudding empanada. The results were mixed. As everyone has said, the tres leches cake is superb and is probably the highlight of what they make at this bakery. The other standout was the rice pudding empanada. There are no signs that say what the different pastries are so we picked it out and took a chance. It ended up being a pleasant surprise. Just perfectly sweet. But, it would be nice if they could put up signs so customers can decide what they want without having to ask staff. The churros were pretty hard and stale by the time we got them in the middle of the day. Perhaps they taste better when they are fresh. Otherwise, would not recommend. The concha bread was huge and super soft! But overall, the flavor was light and was not as sweet as I would have liked. The flan I did not mind, but my family thought it was way too firm. Overall, this bakery was too far out of my way to come back to. There were some standout items, but there were also a lot of other items that were pretty lackluster.
