Samaris is a nice neighborhood bakery and pastries shop with a good variety of offerings. I went to here to get some drinks. Their main menu on the wall had the standard coffee drinks and the option of adding flavors but I was looking for specialty drinks like seasonal lattes, etc. and I couldn't find those. I heard a customer before me asking about Matcha drinks and a staff member said they have Guava Matcha Latte. Then I saw an electronic menu advertising specialty drinks. From it, I ordered their Pumpkin Tropical Matcha and from their regular menu, a seasonal and festive drink called Alote. I also got a Pecan Biscotti and a Strawberry Empanada. The drinks were good in taste. I liked them both. The Alote was my favorite. It's a corn-based beverage with cinnamon and nuts. The pricing of the specialty drinks was on the pricey side. The Pumpkin Tropical Matcha was $7. I received good service. Check them out. read more

Every person I've talked there was so kind and will answer all your questions and even pick out their favorite desserts when you can't pick one out. My daughter's cake was perfect and tasted great. They did really good job designing the cake exactly how we wanted it. I'll order here again if I'm ever in the area. My only complaint was that the box the cake came in was very flimsy and we weren't able to transport the cake home from the hotel. The whole box fell apart and we had to throw half of the cake away, I was sad because the cake was so tasty I wanted another slice. read more

Wow! Their pasties and cakes are high quality and value for the price! They can create any custom cake for you. The pastries and cakes we ate were so tasty and not sweet at all! We sampled some of their cakes and all of my kids would fight over the Mil Hojas pastry instead! The Mil Hojas is a puff pastry filled with cream topped with white chocolate mousse and fresh fruit. It was the only thing the kids wanted to eat more of. I liked the coco flan. The horchata cupcake was good too. Make sure to call and reserve your order ahead of time. Samaris created the one in Red to match our daughters dress and the other is from Pinterest which we had selected. Ain't it gorgeous? Buttercream frosting Red Velvet cake with two layers of White Chocolate Cream in between. I usually prefer savory over sweet, but Samaris' baked goods are absolutely delicious. We ordered takeout cupcakes for graduation, and we were pleasantly surprised at how they good they were. For the first time in a long while (possibly ever), I've actually enjoyed eating buttercream icing. It wasn't overly sweet, but still rich and creamy with a subtle mocha flavor. Whether you live nearby or out of the way, this needs to be your go-to bakery. I love food but don't have a big sweet tooth. However when I do get a craving, I usually bake myself because I've been disappointed with many bakeries in the past. Not the case with Samaris! Came in for a complimentary cake tasting and I was blown away by the delicious flavors. First, of all they had a table waiting for us with all their different fillings, cakes and their frosting. Everything tasted so fresh and delicious none of that artificial dyes and flavors. The owner sat down with us and explained each and everyone of their homemade fillings and cakes. I ended up purchasing some beyond delicious fruit tarts with the best cream filling I ever had. I also had some tiramisu and chocolate cupcakes.
