Lot more arrangements at the store not available on the website. High quality products but on the expensive side.

Their delivery service is useless. Just take the arrangement yourself since they don't follow any instructions.

Cool stuff but the customer service is horrid. The first person who greeted us walked up with a…read moremouth full of pizza and a slice in her hand and said "hi there". We didn't even know if she worked there so my wife asked and the girl said "yeah I do I can help you". We said she could finish her lunch then come back and she said: "no its ok I don't mind..." We told her we would rather wait and she thanked us and went to greet others with her greasy pizza in hand. After waiting an hour we came back only to find that they engrave the wrong piece. Rather than apologizing in offering to quickly what are some extra mine I told us it would be another 30 minutes. When we disagreed with that they submitted to having a new one ready in 15 to 20 minutes. Obviously the staff here has been poorly trained by a manager who has no leadership ability. Neat products if you're willing to suffer through a poor experience from a staff who doesn't care about serving the customer. I would have given 0 stars but the girl we bought our item from (not pizza girl) was actually nice.

I was never allowed breaks and it was suggested to me--without fully saying it--that I wasn't even allowed to leave the kiosk for a bathroom break. The assistant manager (now the manager) was a bullying monster who treated us, and customers, like we were dirt. I heard her, more than once, make racial slurs towards customers and argue with customers over her own mistakes. The associates did the best they could with the minimal, terrible training they had. Customers were treated terribly by the assistant, associates were treated terribly by the assistant, and any problems were not handled professionally. Instead, she blamed them on everyone else or on the customers themselves. Even when I purchased items and the assistant did the engraving, she was too lazy to change the glass needle to ensure that it was a crisp engraving. A gift I got for my parents ended up looking fuzzy and grainy because she couldn't be bothered to do her job properly. I'd like to say we did good work there: engraving was fun and rewarding, especially when a customer was happy with the result. But the nightmare of dealing with the assistant wasn't worth the hassle for myself and for some of the other employees who worked there at the same time as me. I can't imagine what it must be like for customers trying to purchase items and having to deal with her. Please, save yourself the trouble: don't shop there or work there.

Not so much since the…read morepandemic, since he never leaves the house, but I was feeling epically lousy recently and he offered to go to the store to grab some headache medicine for me and did me the kindness of swinging by Polderman's on the way home to grab a beautiful bouquet. Definitely a day-maker! I've got admit I was nervous to see this pop up on our credit card statement, since it had about five birds of paradise and three gigantic gerbera daisies (truly the most vibrant and gigantic blooms I've seen -- they reminded me of prima ballerina tutus that were perfectly starched!) I would have expected that these eight stems alone, let alone any filler, would run a pretty penny. But when I glanced at our credit card statement, it was under $30. I can't tell you how many times I see people post photos of bouquets on Yelp and say how disappointed they are with what they got for the amount they paid (NOT at this particular business, just in general). The spot really bring the wow factor for a very affordable price in my opinion. That said, my husband probably picked out each bloom by himself and knows exactly what I like -- but the fact that they have flowers this lovely and don't charge an arm and a leg for them is definitely good info to have. There really are quite a few fabulous businesses and this particular stretch of Portage Road by West and Austin lakes -- I highly recommend checking out Polderman's, Trove, and West Lake pharmacy/gift shop If you're in this neck of the woods visiting Presidential Brewing, The Cove, or Latitude 42.
