Received this as a gift for my daughter's birthday yesterday, and all the strawberries were mush and had all gone bad. Strawberries are my daughter's favorite and there was no way I was letting her eat them. The arrangement itself was nice, but the fruit, mainly the melon had no flavor. A couple of days ago My husband ordered chocolate covered strawberries in a heart shape box for me for our wedding anniversary online. Only to find out there weren't any heart shape boxes available when he came to pick up the order! Why wasn't my husband notified about that prior to ordering or picking up the order? To make matters worst the strawberries looked awful. The strawberries didn't even look close to what you advertise on your website either! They were in all kinds of sizes from Regular to mini sizes! The strawberries leaves were starting to turn brown the chocolate coating was uneven and not even a lot of it. Delivery sucks. I placed this order a week ago and let them know it's a business. I go to check status of my delivery at 3:30 pm and they are just making the order!!! Most people leave around 3-3:30 so guess what? They won't receive my order. I will NEVER again order from edible arrangements. This is 2/2 that they didn't deliver at a decent hour. I wish I had read the reviews on this place before I ordered from them. I ordered a Mother's day fruit bouquet for my mom. I ordered on Thursday and the order was ready for pickup Friday afternoon. I came in contact with a surly young woman at the counter who rudely demanded my ID....ok...not a problem, but you could be a bit less nasty towards a customer, especially a first-time customer. I got my bouquet and presented it to my mother. To our dismay, the fruit in the arrangement was less than fresh and the chocolate on the chocolate dipped items tasted chalky. I ordered and picked up an arrangement for a co-worker from this location. I called before I placed the order just to get an idea how much time do they need to put together an arrangement. I was told that they need about an hour and a half to put an arrangement together. The person that I spoke with directed me to place an order online selecting this store as the pick-up location. I wanted to pay for the arrangement using cash instead of credit card, but the website was asking for my personal information that I did no feel comfortable sharing. I called the store back and placed an order through the phone instead. I arranged to pick up at 1:30pm, but I was finishing up my errands faster than I expected. I showed up at the store around 1:00 and I was expecting to wait, but my arrangement was ready. The arrangement was beautifully arranged and it was bigger than it looks on the Internet. Edible Arrangements tried delivering a Mother's Day fruit arrangement at 9:40 a.m. yesterday but was unsuccessful because we did not hear the door bell. We were home and was not aware of this edible surprise from the kids. The driver of Edible Arrangements left a note to call them. I did but they asked me to call them again in an hour because their driver was out delivering. When I tried again, it was a recording on their phone. I did not wish to speak to a computer, so I did not leave a message. By 5:30 p.m., I gave up waiting. I did not bother to call because I did not want old merchandise from the morning. The morning after Mother's Day, I called again. They had the audacity to tell me that the fruits were already delivered. I asked them who signed for it? I told them a human error was made or the driver was dishonest. I had no fruits delivered whatsoever. This was the reason for the note left by their driver and my phone calls. Their mistake cost me two days of waiting and the need for me to provide evidence that the fruits were not delivered to my house. A Mother's Day gift was spoilt. It was not delivered on time. The gift was no longer a gift because I, as the recipient, had to run around chasing my own gift which was ordered and paid in good faith! How can they run a business this way? read more

Ordered an "I'm sorry" arrangement online for delivery. They knocked on the door of the recipient, he answered, and the driver said "Are you [name]? Someone's sorry." and dropped my gift. The arrangement had fallen apart inside. Recipient says he had to put the arrangement back together and some pieces were broken. I'll be taking my business elsewhere because clearly this is a big joke to Edible Arrangements of Springfield. The only "person" who should be sorry is this franchise. I am so disappointed today in this location. I placed an order for a Birthday delivery to my mum. I checked on my order at 5pm and it was not delivered yet. I was dealing with Tony and he messed up my order 3 times whilst I was there I had to talk to him as if I was talking to my 2 year old nephew! Idk if he didn't understand me or if he was just ready for me to get out if his face but whatever it was it was terrible. Agree with the bad customer service reviews! I received an arrangement as a gift and they first delivered when I was out of town... I called to reschedule when I was going to be back and they came before I was back even though I gave them the exact time. Then, the third go around for this same delivery was supposed to be a window between 11-1 (the time I normally go to church, so I arranged to go earlier)... two hours after the window, there was no delivery. I work at a local dealership and the owner stopped by our dealership to promote the store. I told her that they do a lot of advertisement for the Froyo but every time I went they never had it. She assured me that they would and she even came to the dealership with Froyo for myself and the management. SUPER NICE OWNER! However, I went there today and asked what flavors they had. She said, "Oh you want a flavor." She told me they could infuse Blueberry into the Froyo. So far so good. Then I said, "Your owner is really nice she stopped by our dealership awhile back and I told her that I wish you made more Froyo so it's good that you all have it now." She said, "Oh that was yooooouuuuu......" I said, "Yes". She rolled her eyes at me and looked down nodding her head. I asked, "Is that a bad thing?" She just kept looking down and nodding her head. I said, "You know what?" "Have a nice day ladies." and I left. Maybe the owner can pay for someone to come in and teach the employees here about good customer service because based on their ratings, I wasn't the only one to have bad experiences here. smoothies smoothies smoothies! My coworkers and I go 1-3 times a week after 3 pm for smoothies and it's amazing. They are currently half off from 3pm-6pm. Tony is our favorite guy he knows exactly what he's doing and has great recommendations. He even lets you try your smoothie and if you don't like it, he'll fix it. He is always super nice and knows us when we come in. He even will talk you out of a bad combination - I didn't believe him once and did it anyways and it was a horrible mistake. The vase contained the fruits that were displayed in a delicious, artsy manner I hadn't seen before. I ordered a box of chocolate covered strawberries and a balloon to be sent to my boyfriend as a surprise. I got an email at 1:15 pm saying that they JUST attempted delivery. I called my boyfriend, who was home the whole time, and he did not even hear the door. There was a tag placed on his door saying that the delivery was attempted at 12:30, 45 minutes before I got even an email! I called the store and talked to a girl who was not helpful at all and explained to her the situation. She even asked if the delivery driver called the number (like the website said they would do if it was a failed attempt) when I said no she told me that she would send it back out for delivery again when her driver gets back. I called the customer service number and another woman answered the phone so I explained to her my situation and the only thing she said was "sorry there's nothing we can do". You're telling me that I paid $40 for a box of chocolate covered strawberries, $5 for a balloon, AND a $15 delivery fee for edible arrangements to 1. Ruin a surprise for my boyfriend 2. Have the delivery driver not call the number like he was supposed to when the delivery was attempted and 3. Have multiple woman on the phone with me being rude to me because they messed up? This place is so unprofessional and the people that I spoke to were so incredibly rude to me, I do not recommend buying anything from here! I have used the store in Springfield twice and both times I have been very disappointed. Guess I should have learned for the first experience. I ordered an arrangement to be delivered to our neighbor last year and I just happened to be visiting them when the order was delivered. It wasn't what I ordered. I called the store to have deliver what was ordered. I placed another order on April 1, 2019 to be delivered on April 17. It was not delivered at all. The only reason I found out was while talking with our neighbor on Monday, April 22, I just thought to ask if they received the arrangement because it was not like them not mention it. I called the store on Monday and spoke with Ethan. He seemed surprised that I wanted a refund. Why on earth I would pay for something that wasn't delivered! The store did not leave us a message nor email stating the delivery was not made. Ethan told me the manager would call me that afternoon. The fruit was good. The service was horrible and it looked like a preschooler put together my arrangement. This location does not follow their pictures online at all!! For how expensive they are and for the quality of work I suggest going to the dollar tree buying a vase, some Styrofoam, plastics sticks and put your own fruit and dip in chocolate !! U can do all that for $20. If they don't understand your order they don't care they put it together anyways, even if it looks like horrible. They never seem to get the order correct. And when you try to get a refund they never respond. Will never use them.

The people who answer the phone are nice enough, and quite helpful. I know this because I have had to call them about my latest delivery several times. I ordered a box of strawberries and a couple balloons on a Monday afternoon while I'm at work to surprise my girlfriend. Seemed simple enough. I got the receipt in my email, and a few hours later I got another email confirming delivery. Score! Or so I thought. I went home to find no such delivery occurred. The shop was closed so I figured, maybe it got pushed to tomorrow, I have work tomorrow, so I'll give em a day to send it and chock it up to the fact that I ordered it somewhat late in their work day. Incidentally, I placed the order around 430PM, although it states they deliver until 9PM, so I figured it was kind of iffy but not crazy to expect same day delivery, after all, you just dip berries in chocolate, box it and drop it off ten minutes down the road with a couple balloons. It still hadn't arrived the next day after I get home from work, so I'm like, Ok, I guess I'll hafta call in the morning when they open and just deal with it then. Maybe I can get some free extra chocolate out of it. When I call I ask why it said my delivery was done when no package ever was dropped off. They said the delivery guy had left it at the front door. I told them it was raining all day yesterday, why would he do that? Besides, where was my soggy box of fruit and balloons if he actually did that? They agreed this was problematic and would send me another with some extra chocolate strawberries. Score! So they send the chocolate and I'm like, sweet. My roommate gets the door and brings me everything. But there's no balloons. So I run outside but the delivery guy is already gone. I call the place and I'm like, Hey, I got the chocolates but no balloons. It cost me $10 for balloons, not an inconsiderable amount in my poor opinion. Could he swing back with em and drop them off? The lady on the phone agreed this was troubling and said he would be able to come back in a few hours. Okay, well, so much for surprises and all that but whatever, I paid for it so why not. So a few hours later the kid comes back and gives me the balloons, I thank him and he leaves. I look at the balloons he gave me and they are not the ones I ordered. I give up. TERRIBLE customer service! I order from Edible arrangements often and this is by far the WORST customer service. My birthday arrangement from my friend was delivered to the wrong person. Honest mistake and I even gave them time to fix it. I called several times to the store along with my friend. No one ever answered so I drove to the store. The person said he will have it delivered the next day. SO I was like no problem. The next day came and I called and they came up with some excuse that their freezer was down. Why not call the customer was my question. I told him to refund my friend's money and that I was going to call corporate. He didn't seem like he even cared; I can see why as they get corporate called on them all the time. Corporate said the store owner has 48hrs to response to all complaints well he did not response. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SHOP!! They lack accountability and business sense. If I could give a half a star or no star I would...a one star is too generous. read more
