Wes was attentive, caring, honest and saved me time and money whenever he could, in whatever way he could, no matter how busy he was. I was visiting out of town from Bend Oregon when the AC in my car completely busted. It was a huge repair (compressor) and everyone I called was booked solid. I literally called and texted about 10 people to find out how I could get this situation handled so I wouldn't have to drive 4 hours in the blaring summer sun with no AC in my car. And no one could get me in. Except Wes Ducat at Steve Tire & Auto Repair. Wes moved his entire schedule around in order to get my car in and out on time, so I could get home safely without having to spend an arm and a leg on the repair. They worked on my car on Saturday until their closing time. The problem was not something normal. I did not receive any communication until Saturday at 9:45 AM, when I was informed that the inspection had been completed. During that call, the acting manager explained that the truck had actually been finished at 3:00 PM on Friday, but no one contacted me before closing. This lack of communication was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. Additionally, when I dropped off the vehicle on Thursday, I overheard the manager openly belittling an employee in front of customers regarding how something was written down. Addressing performance issues publicly in front of customers reflects poorly on the business and creates an uncomfortable environment. Overall, I am very unhappy with the level of professionalism and communication I experienced.
