Our last day in Texas after being here a year we decided to try this place out. Almost before closing. The owner opened the door for us and sat us down. We were surprised to see how much space there was and all empty. She brought water out immediately and helped us order. We got the Bimbap with bulgogi , La Calbi and cheese corn. She brought out sides like they do at AYCEKBBQ. It was soo flavorful and delicious. The price was worth every bite. The owner was so attentive serving our plates , refilling our waters and bringing more side dishes. Gave us free rice. I cannot even explain how meaningful she made our last night here. Best experience we've ever had at any restaurant, I felt like I was being catered by my mom. It was so delightful.
Stopped by for lunch on a Thursday with my wife, and the place was completely empty the whole time we were there. As soon as we parked, a kind lady opened the door and welcomed us in. We were seated right away and had water on the table almost immediately while we looked over the menu. We ordered the rose rice cake, pork cutlet, and corn cheese. The side dishes came out first and every dish was solid. We finished everything, and she even brought out refills before our mains arrived. Since we were the only ones there, the service was super attentive. I asked for rice and she brought out both regular and sweet rice at no extra charge. The corn cheese came out first and it was tasty, though I wouldn't have minded a bit more cheese. The pork cutlet was next, paired with a flavorful sauce that worked really well. I only had a few bites since I was saving room for the rose rice cake and wanted to try it. It was cook perfectly crispy. The rose rice cake came out on a tabletop cooker, and she helped cook and serve it for us. It had a good variety of items and everything came together really well. Overall, a great experience. The restaurant has a lot of seating to cater to big groups. We'd definitely come back to try more items. It seems like a newer spot, so hoping more people check it out. It deserves the support.
Food is fresh and good, the beef was super tender with great flavor, seafood pancake was very nice although it isn't too crispy, the owner is super sweet try this place next time when craving korean food!!
We've been meaning to come out here for quite some time now. Walking in, the place is super clean and has that new building feel. The staff was super friendly and fast! The food is a lil pricier, even side dishes were around $12 as a baseline. But, everything was good. So there is a quality aspect to take into consideration. It can be tough to go between an all you can eat and a la carte. But for this area, it is good, with very little competition unless you're willing to drive out. The Jeyuk Bokkeum (spicy stir fried pork bulgogi). This was really good, came out sizzling on a platter. Very well. Seasoned, very good flavor. Bul-Eo Hot Pot Bibimbap (squid and pork belly with sides on a sizzling platter) this was fantastic! Huge quantity, comes out as fresh as you can. Get it. Highly recommend. The squid was not chewy and had the perfect texture. Kimchi Fried Rice. I thought this dish was okay. My partner and I both thought that it was lacking on flavor, and could use a bit more. It tasted more like the oil than Kimchi. When packing up to go, we added some of the kimchi from our banchan into the box and when it reheated the flavor came out so much better. Also the hot tea is good, we enjoyed that too. Overall, we really enjoyed our meal. Would try a couple different things next time we come through. Highly recommend if you're in the area.
They've leveled up by adding jjajangmyeon and jjamppong! It's both so delicious. Please go try it now!
It was so fortunate to have discovered this Korean Pearland restaurant. Our waitress was the sweetest person ever. She was very sincere and apologetic even though she hardly made us wait on a just night. For 2 people, we got the rose tteokbokki and the cheese pork katsu. Both dishes were unique, tasty and gigantic with plenty of leftovers to pack. Fun note, the stimulation of having all 4 TVs broadcast different kpop MVs was wildly hypnotic.
This place is sooooooo good! The service is outstanding. Very sweet and kind people. But the food...is A1. They made great recommendations. Tofu soup was 10/10. Spicy, flavorful and full of goodness. The bulgogi was some of the best I've had, if not the best. Plenty of food. Great prices. I'll be back. Pearland, support this local gem.
Especially compared to the k place which was here last, this place is BOMB. Cozy little place with modern aesthetics, and while it seems to hold a bunch of folks the booths are private enough. Even though they're very short staffed atm, the gent manning the restaurant was very courteous and attentive. It helps they operate off the "call button for service" protocol but give the guy some help! Their spread of available dishes is pretty cool! We got the regular tteokbokki, seafood doenjang jjigae (soybean stew), and the mushroom soondubu with mandu (dumplings). The tteok was LOADED, but notably was the first time I've ever ordered it at a restaurant and cooked it At Table. Remember to submerge the tteok and cabbage or neither will be done enough before the ramen overcooks! Good flavors overall. Their banchan game is good and refillable vs the place that was here before - small shame it didn't come out before the rest of the food did, but take pity on the one man show on duty. He was great about keeping us topped off tho. The doenjang jjigae was very approachable/enjoyable for folks who don't doenjang, but not quite stinky enough for what I was expecting. Somewhat akin to a bulky af miso soup for big kids. Lots going on though, and very much appreciated the seafood/starch/veg mix. The soondubu was good, and nicely shiitake-heavy. The mandu were also nicely fried and a good value the way we saw it, but the yellow grouper that came with it was an Excellent touch! This place is definitely worth stopping by. Don't let this one get away, especially with the new Pearland Asian grocery center geared to set up nearby in the next year or so!
Finally a Korean spot in Pearland. The Korean food that is cooked for you. This is not Korean bbq where you cook the meat yourself. They have bench seating and tables. There's a variety on their menu to choose from. I got the spicy chicken bibimbap and it was served in a huge hot stone bowl. The hot stone bowl makes the rice crispy. The meal also came with side dishes which is traditional for Korean meals. The spicy chicken was flavorful but I do not think it was spicy. You could definitely share the meal with the portions they give you. Service was fair since they just opened and don't have a lot of staff yet.
This is run by a Korean couple and I've been seeing it online so I wanted to check it out. I think they're still working out the bumps overall. The waitress didn't know what menu items we were referring to unless we pointed at them. She also was a little clumsy and spilled water on our table. There was also confusion as my friend ordered one thing but another came out with the waitress saying that's what he ordered. The food was decent and portioned well for the price but I had to wait awhile for my cold noodles (~20-30 mins). Everyone got banchan and a fish. I don't think I'd come back for a bit. I'll wait it out to see them again when operations are a bit smoother.
9/29/25 - After seeing former Tofu Town under new management, we gave it a try as we did not like the food previously. We walked in and loved the current layout and decor of the restaurant. Very clean and modern. They played KPop music in which my kids loved and enjoyed. For the food, we ordered the basic Korean dishes: beef bulgogi, pork bulgogi, beef n squid hot pot bibimbap and corn cheese. Verdict: DELICIOUS!!! Food was brought out piping hot. Portion of each meat dish we ordered were big and meant for 2 people. I absolutely loved the bibimbap! Full of flavors and the rice had crunchy texture which was awesome! We will definitely come back without a doubt to try the rest of the menu.
Amazing authentic Korean food! For the vegan part anyway, I honestly feel like the food rivals places I've had in LA. The taste is VERY authentic Korean. I came here with some non-vegan family members and they called ahead to ask about vegan options. The restaurant owners were able to accommodate everything beautifully. I got the spicy veggie soondubu and the spicy bibim nangmyun. So delicious! I forgot to take a picture of the nangmyun. The lady who served us was so nice! This place has also changed management THREE times, so I hope this current management stays. Would definitely come here again! If you're vegan, give them a day heads up so they can prepare certain things separately.

I absolutely recommend Chon Dang Gol! The food here was absolutely delicious and filling. We tried the Bibimbap, and it was served hot. The waitress even offered to mix it for us. We also tried the Jjajangmyeon (stir-fried black bean paste, diced pork, onions, and vegetable), and it is my new favorite dish ever! The hospitality here is also top tier! We talked to the owner and she was so sweet and accommodating. She walked us through the menu, what she recommended, and even the foods that were not spicy. We got refills, and complimentary Yakult at the end. The prices are worth it. I will be telling everyone to come eat here. I will come back again, and bring my family here when we are craving Korean Food. I'm so glad to know there's a Korean Tofu and BBQ place close by. read more

Food was amazing! The owner is so sweet! Both her and the waitress were so nice and attentive. They made sure we were doing ok. We got the spicy cold noodles, pork galbi, oyster tofu soup, atka mackeral fish, and spicy grilled pork ribs. TONS of food for 2 but we wanted leftovers for later. Everything was DELICIOUS ! The plus side: I LOVE BTS! And the entire time, the TVs had BTS on the screen and it was the perfect lunch date with my husband We'll definitely be back to support. She said business isn't doing well so I will definitely try to come back with family and friends read more

The food was delicious! The service was great and very pleasant ambience. The Korean lady with the cat mask took care of us very well and was super sweet and attentive! She made our time here more enjoyable. And again, the food was so so good. We got the tofu soup 10/10 would recommend! read more
