    Traditional Style Ramen
    Tommy V.

Absolutely loved the food here. Great space, amble seating. Options for indoor vs. outdoor, including seating at the bar (where the sushi is made too). Staff is very kind, attentive, despite how busy or slow service can be. The ramen was delicious. A ton of flavor from the broth, noodles, and meat. I got the traditional tonkotsu ramen with pork. I was a big fan of the dish. My egg wasn't runny/half boiled sadly, completely hard boiled. Not enough of a con to really impact the dish. The gyoza was great, with options of either boiled or pan fried. I love that they gave the option. I'm glad I got it as an appetizer, one of the best gyoza I've had in years. I'll definitely be returning for both dine in and take out. As I went on a quiet Sunday, there was ample parking in the back which made it very convenient. Great place!

Happy hour specials during the week

Easy parking in the rear, gender neutral bathrooms. Bars, booths, high and low tops. Lots of art. Our server, Genevieve was very down to earth and attentive. We came right at opening on a Tuesday and were pleased to find that they have happy hour (4-6pm) specials during the week. I had the maitake mushroom and my husband had the spam musubi to start ($6 each during happy hour). Holy smokes did they ever give me a lot of mushroom! It was breaded and fried, served on a bed of baby arugula. It had a lemony taste and sprinkled with what looked like saffron. It was delicious, the closest thing I've had to calamari since going vegan. Big bang for my buck, usually it's $13. So it was over half off! I love a deal. They have an entire section for vegans in the menu, a rare treat at a sushi lounge. I had a kanpyo roll (my favorite, I can never pass up kanpyo.) and MJ's which featured avocado, tempura asparagus, and vegan cream cheese. I finished the MJ's there because avocado doesn't keep well and tucked away all but one piece of the kanpyo for later. I really filled up on the delicious maitake. My husband had the Diablo roll, it was 8 pieces for $18. It was served in a dish and swimming in sauce, the presentation left something to be desired. He said it was tasty, but a little overpriced. Though tempted by the desserts, we were plenty full and resisted. I would love to come back again during happy hour for more maitake and maybe try another roll or some ramen... Genevieve said the ramen portions are similarly massive. Thank you for a great meal!

Overpriced, tasteless. I went here for my birthday as a stupid kid with no budget and I regret it heavily, not because of the gorgeous interior and delicate food-work that taunted me towards it in the first place, but because of how unbelievably expensive everything is. Especially when you finally get the food, and realize the ramen tastes as good as tofu, and the tofu tastes as good as water. The best thing here were the Edo Fries. Delicious appetizer that you can't go without IF you are willing to come here and drain every cent you have. 2/5 stars, not okay service.

I have wanted to dine here since they opened. Finally made it. Dedicated free parking out back. Friendly host who sat us immediately. Great music from the 80's and 90's (Prince, INXS, Cyndi Lauper) at the perfect volume. Plenty of seating options from bar to high tops to booths. Two TVs at the bar. Cool artwork on the wall. The place is large-ish, but has an intimate feel. Katie, our server, was friendly and attentive. Loads of vegan menu items clearly marked. Reasonable prices. We ordered the two vegan specials: maitake mushrooms and general Tao's cauliflower. Both yummy! Then we ordered nearly all the vegan sushi. The asparagus roll and avocado rolls were excellent. The mad hatter roll was gorgeous and tasty too. The sushi chef was working alone busting his butt and he still presented everything beautifully. Ordered two drinks: Edo collins and Tokyo limeade. Nice flavor. A little light on the booze, but there wasn't a dedicated bartender. So happy this spot exists! I'll be back with my omnivore friends and fam.

Just a great sushi spot. My mom and her friends have been coming here for years and this past summer we went to celebrate a birthday! The appetizers were a good size for sharing between 4-5 people. We got some sushi platters and noodles- needless to say we left full and happy. The service was great and we love the vibes in here. Not too loud, not too quiet. Overall I highly recommend!

    Flame Thrower

My family went here for my birthday dinner and I thought most of the food was fantastic. I ordered the specialty shrimp scampi ramen and it was packed with flavor. We also ordered the flame thrower sushi roll and the yakiudon to share. The sushi was great, but I didn't love the yakiudon. The service was good, but there was an awkward moment where the wrong roll was brought out to us originally and the server was pretty passive aggressive about taking it back, however, the service was great besides that one interaction. There's a parking lot in the back with free parking and we didn't need to reserve in advance (nor does it seem like there's an option to), and we were fine with a party of 5 walking in.

Always amazing! My go to sushi spot, service is friendly and attentive. I always recommend this as a Hidden gem to everyone in the area.

LOVE their food. The fried rice is the best I've ever had, let alone the sushi options. Hidden gem.

The building itself is not that impressive, but the inside is decorated in a very interesting way. It is kind of dark, and it does look like someone tossed some things together to create the ambience. However, I guess maybe that's how the dishes are too. I didn't expect some of the different Ramen or udon combinations that they had where are they really just threw things into ramen and turn it into an unusual dish. They have some traditional ramen and udon dishes but the ones that they just throw together are the ones that are interesting to try. I really enjoyed the curry ramen which they do it very different than most places - the dish I had had so many scallops, a bunch of vegetables, fried shrimp, tempura, and even good chunks of meat in the curry. So good. The service was pleasant, the waitress came by so often. Almost too much. Will definitely come back

    Rainbow Roll, shrimp tempura

The rainbow sushi roll was one of the best I have had, very fresh. Shrimp tempura roll was very good too, just a bit on sweeter side (maybe too much eel sauce). Miso Shrimp ramen which was good, felt it was a bit too salty, even for miso it was too salty. I really appreciate that they have plenty of vegetarian options. Service was excellent, and place felt very cozy. Plenty of seating, felt like a true sushi place.

Adobo - Pinoy-style pork & chicken sautéed with onions, served with garlic rice & fried eggs

First time here. Great vibe and friendly & helpful staff. The food was delicious. The meat in the Adobo dish was tender and yummy. Their garlic rice is great.

    Adobo Fried Rice

We've been coming here for years since the opened. Food is consistently good and pleases the whole family. Carry out is fast and easy. Our favorites are the Edo House Fried Rice (maybe the most interesting and flavorful fried rice around) and Nashville Ramen (not on the menu but always available with sausage and fried chicken in the Ramen).

Pot roast ramen, special of the week.

Letting you know, this has been a 4-year await to try Noble Fish sushi and let me say, I am beyond impressed. Upon arrival, you will order at the kiosk! Additionally, I ordered Spicy Tuna Crunch Roll. The Squid Nigiri was interesting and melted in my mouth - lol. My less favorite was the Mackerel Nigiri, I felt like it has a metal and fishy taste. It's amazing cooked but I do not think I will consume it raw ever again. The fish was fresh and the sushi rice was soft and cooked to perfection. Overall, I would most def love to visit this place again with family and friends. The staff was beyond helpful when I had questions and super nice. Beef about 3 pieces, brisket 5 , very thin pieces. NO TRIPE- they forgot it. Little onions. 3 tiny pieces of tendon $6 fresh rolls. COLD AF. I understand you eat them "cold" but it was like they pre-rolled them & they sat all day in the fridge until it was ordered. I came in around 845PM. Felt the same temp as my ice cold water they brought out. Pork & shrimp very thin. Peanut sauce was very little, def not enough for 2 rolls. Took one small bite & took it home. As a Vietnamese, Very disappointed. Gave this place another shot & I wish I would've spent my $20 elsewhere. I rlly wanted to like them since they open an hour later than other local joints & it's close to where I stay. Sucks, just got back from airport needed some liquid gold in my life. Came in & ordered in Vietnamese, & she didn't understand me. I should've just walked out idk if it was because I came late, or what. I walked in someone was already there, they had a couple of carry outs, but another table of 2 came in. I took my time sifting thru the noodles to make sure I wasn't tripping. Just go the extra 5-7 mins & stick to Madison heights area or go home & make some eggs & rice til the next day. TO ME, It's rlly not worth it as a Vietnamese person, but you may have a different experience & I hope that you do! And whoever mops the floors must have an irrational childhood fear of cleaning corners. Although the floors themselves are clean, each corner has a disgusting black buildup of filth. Likewise, the sinks in the bathroom. They have not been cleaned well in a very long time. Food: the beef roll pie is delicious. The marinated beef is OK but should be served cold, not room temperature. The steamed dumplings were OK too. However, the noodle dishes were oily, bland, flavorless, and just seasoned with a sweet brown sauce. Further, there is almost no meat to be found in the noodle dishes. What I had looked to be scraps. I paid three dollars extra to have the wide hand cut noodle. It was basically served raw to me. Service: this place has no concept of service. Food comes out haphazardly. First I got my entrée, then my daughter got her entree, then we got two appetizers. Sometime later, my son got his entrée, and the steamed dumplings came. Never once was an empty dish taken away, and never once was a water glass refilled. Service here is absolutely awful. Other than the beef roll pie, there isn't a single redeeming quality about this place. The food is awful, the service is terrible, all surfaces are sticky and dirty. Avoid this place at all cost.
