Good sushi is hard to find, but we found it. (Average sushi can be found in a lot of places). We loved everything that was brought to the table. The service was efficient and friendly. The restaurant was clean and organized. Presentation was flawless, and we will be back.

Really impressed by Sushi Hana! A friend wanted try Omakase and found this spot. It was easy to find availabilities and make a reservation ($25 per person deposit required). I also needed to push back our reservation by 2 weeks and they responded promptly via email. Upon arriving, I didn't expect such a cute lil' spot - really felt like Japan kinda vibes. We were seated and then we began our 16-course omakase adventure! The chef found out we loved Uni so definitely gave us lots of uni. He also checked in to make sure we were full and offered even MORE food. But all in all - I'm really impressed with Omakase here. I will say that not every bite was my favorite (e.g. could do without the handroll - seaweed was kinda soggy and the negitoro, squid (?), takuan was overall pretty mid), but all in all - a great experience as I did have some really special bites like beautifully done pink shrimp tempura, negitoro with quail egg, seared hamachi, salmon belly, wonderful cuts of blue fin tuna! If I were in the area - I'd totally come back to try their a la carte menu. It was surprisingly busy on a Wednesday night as well!

Cozy atmosphere and wonderful sashimi. I was impressed by the presentation and how some pieces were lightly torched.

Sushi is fabulous. Some of the very best around. Service is hit or miss and (having lived in Japan) very authentic. For example.... they have an "Earl Grey Highball" on the menu, but they will NOT serve you a plain highball (just leave out the Earl Grey syrup, lol). You'll be glad you had the sushi. Just roll with the rest of it!

Maki Rolls were amazing! We got the Cali and Shrimp Tempura. Sake was odd. Overall - will come back for the maki rolls.

I've only been here twice, and both experiences have been great. Don't let the sushi part fool you into thinking only the sushi is good. The other non sushi dishes are also very good! If you're coming for lunch, I definitely recommend getting one of the lunch bentos because it offers a little bit of everything. I've also tried their bibimbap which is amazing as it comes out in a stone pot where the rice on the bottom gets crunchy. All of the sushi/raw fish I've had here have been excellent and really fresh.

Small and fast paced restaurant. Cute, neat and clean. Would be nice if more spacious. There is very little room from table to table. Service is good. Prompt. Food is pricy but does worth it. The rolls are beautiful. Also got a gyoza soup that's not in the picture. My kid loved the soup and the gyoza.

The spicy chili garlic seasoning added the perfect amount of spice. And they even bring out extra spice to the table, if you need more! The fresh house-made noodles were cooked perfectly. I added chicken to my bowl instead of the pork. It was tender and so flavorful. The toppings -- marinated egg, green onions, bamboo shoots, kikurage mushrooms, and sesame seeds -- all came together really well. I added soybeans to my bowl. Definitely one of the best ramen bowls I've had in Michigan. I'll be back for sure. Service was quick. And even at 4pm, the place was already packed. My belly was so happy after this meal!

Not really much of an ambiance - it's a very casual place with pretty basic decor. Everyone working there was friendly and our food was brought out to us in a reasonable amount of time. I got the classic tonkotsu ramen and it was really good! The broth was flavorful and complex, the pork was tender, and the egg perfectly jammy. Apparently they make their noodles fresh everyday. The price of a ramen bowl was on par with what I'm used to (~$20 with tax + tip) but the sushi seemed a little pricey. I will have to come back to try it.

The service and food were 5 stars. I was greeted immediately (although it would be hard not to be--…read morethe interior is small, and the welcome desk is immediately to your right when you walk in.) The menu is strong but limited, which I kind of like- limits decision fatigue, especially after a long day. I ordered the nigiri combo, for the cause. Nigiri is something I've only really gotten into this year, so I'm not an expert, but I know what I like and what I don't. Soft, sticky rice that feels fresh and adhesive but not clumpy, fresh smelling and looking fish. The California roll was a California roll. The nigiri was great however. The shrimp in particular was light and almost creamy tasting? I know that sounds odd but I mean it in a good way. The rest of the fish was good. I even tried eel (this is big for me) for the cause! It was rich and fatty, but not in an unpleasant way as I feared. It was pleasantly sauced, so I was able to try it sans soy sauce and was pleased! I *really* liked the soy sauce here, although they don't give you very much. They also are a bit stingy with the ginger. This was my first time trying tamago, which is a delicately sweetened egg roll stuffed with rice. If you're not used to it, you have to get over the look and just go for it! It's yummy! The restroom was clean but smelled faintly of cigarettes. To be honest... I didn't mind that. It kind of fit with the vibe and gave the restaurant a "real" "edgy" feel, although some people may not appreciate it. The interior is kind of messy and unkempt, but if you keep your eyes on the prize- the food- you'll leave happy!

Hands down - 100% the BEST sushi I've ever had in Michigan!…read more I was skeptical. I'm a sushi snob. Here's the real deal. The yellowtail can go toe-to-toe with any Vegas yellowtail. Same for the eel sashimi. That was excellent. I loved the salmon nigiri (they just call it salmon sushi). The superstar was the teriyaki tofu, which tasted a whole lot like agedashi tofu. I had two servings. There was a really good selection and nothing tasted old or fishy. More importantly the fish was actually raw! Every bit of sushi I've had up until now in Michigan has been lox (weird), imitation crab, or cooked. Now, don't get me wrong. There was still weird, but it was manageable weird, so let's talk about it. Eel roll was mostly strips of cucumber- a large, large portion of cucumber. So much cucumber. I did taste a bit of eel, but let's be honest. That was a cucumber roll. The spicy tuna was pale. That was different. I'm not used to that, and I got a little scared. It was... Ok. It had crunchies in it. The sashimi was aggressive. You get a chunk of fish. There you go. Enjoy your chunk. This is how we do it in Michigan. This restaurant is in the spot where the Old Country Buffet was. The decor has completely changed and it's not really bougie or elegant, but it is pretty. It's also very clean. It is also HUGE. That means you need to come here and take a seat. This really is exceptional food, and we want them to stay open. So go there. Right now. The dinner price is lunch price in Las Vegas. This is definitely a deal. Enjoy!
