This place is incredible. The ramen was super on point. I haven't had good ramen like this in a while. The service was great, our waitress was really nice, and the overall vibe was awesome. I just wish they didn't close all of July

Some of the best tonkotsu broth I have ever had, seriously SO good. Flavorful and creamy and perfect. Chashu was not as fatty as I would've liked and was a bit dry IMO. We also got some edamame and spicy tuna rolls, loved the crispy bits of tempura inside. The rolls tasted super fresh. A ton of seating inside with a ton of great drink and dessert options that I'll have to try another time. Service was super friendly and seemed happy to be there. Will definitely be back!

I tried the edamame and spicy tonkotsu ramen with smoked charsui and it was pretty good. The edamame was pretty basic but the ramen was good, only thing is I wish it was spicier. The atmosphere is pretty chill and service fast. I'd recommend you try!

On a cold fall day, nothing hits better than a warm bowl of ramen. both the shoya and the Tonkotsu were amazing and absolutely hit the spot. We order boba tea to go and it was delicious as well. Will definitely be back!

Wonderful place! Spacious interior with many tables, good for groups. Food was delicious - they've got a variety of things from sushi to ramen to specialty boba. Staff is so warm and welcoming also. I will be back!

I love finding local gems like this ramen that hit the spot during my work trip! Noodles were so chewy and the broth was flavorful, just a tad salty. I added some bok choy and it was perfect. There was also a huge amount of charsiu. At $16 before adding bok choy it was perfectly proportioned that I was able to finish everything. Definitely bookmark this spot! The staff were all super friendly and thank me for stopping by. There is a little parking lot outside so parking was easy.

Not busy so we had plenty of space, and no one seated next to us- they have a lot of seating! We were greeted and seated right away. We only got the Spicy Tonkotsu and Tantanmen ramen. There is a generous amount of meat in each bowl but I definitely felt like I was missing veggies (like bean sprouts, greenery, etc). I would love to order this for takeout and then add more vegetables to balance out the salty broth. Ps Spicy Tonkotsu was not really spicy at all for me. But it has a lot of flavor so it doesn't necessarily need more spice (I just like more spicy in general). I would come back and try the vegan ramen (more veggies in that one). Overall pretty good but I wouldn't drive out of my way to come.

Love Shun! Haven't been back since last fall and so excited to see they've expanded the space! The ramen is authentic, delicious and the staff was attentive and extremely helpful. Their menu has great options, including sushi, edamame and ramen. The food is flavorful and fresh, definitely a must when in the area!

Yum is all I can say did not try the ramen but did try the sushi and it was good. The location is in a small shopping center but great area and very nice staff . I guess I only wish there sushi menu was bigger honestly. I ordered the spicy California roll deep fried and a dragon roll which was sooo good. There dragon roll consist of shrimp tempura which is different from the typical dragon roll. But wow it was tasty!

This is THE spot for ramen! From the curry crockets, to the bao buns everything was absolutely amazing. The ramen.... Man the noodles, the broth, the meat... all a perfect ratio and cooked to perfection. To top it off it's a small owned business with the small children helping out! What else can you ask for? It has such a positive friendly ambiance that makes you feel super comfortable! The owners are so nice and will give you honest advice to help you find the perfect meal! Do not skip out on dessert and be daring to try the cheese smelling desert lol I actually enjoyed it and was glad I took the risk! All in all def don't pass on this spot!!!

Taiwanese Style Beef, Dragon Roll (far left), Spicy Tuna (close) and California Roll (right)... all were perfect!

The ramen was amazing, their noodles are made in house! Sushi was great too! Very friendly service :) The Golden Fruit tea was very refreshing

I visited this past Thursday evening with four family members, and to our surprise, the place was packed despite its small size. There aren't many tables--just a few high-tops seating 7-8, some bar seating, and a regular table for 4. With a couple of parties ahead of us, we were fortunate to only wait about 15 minutes to be seated. TONKOTSU RAMEN - 16 The ramen barely filled up half the bowl. Since the broth wasn't too hot, I wolfed down the whole thing in less than 5 minutes. As for the toppings, it was a bit sparse -- just some pork char siu (to be fair, there were quite a few pieces), a sprinkle of chopped scallions, and half a ramen egg (which was nothing special). The broth was extremely creamy, flavorful and rich. I could definitely taste the lard used to achieve this velvety texture. In terms of taste, it's the best ramen broth I've had in the area. The ramen noodles were the straight noodles, which I prefer. While the flavors were bold and explosive, the amount of lard in the broth felt over the top and could have been dialed back immensely. My cousin got the TANTANMEN, which came with a spicy, sesame broth that was delicious and very rich. My uncle really enjoyed the SHOYU RAMEN, with a chicken based broth, and he enjoyed it so much that he left zero drops behind. Overall, Shun Ramen has no frills, with a vibe that feels like a Chinese restaurant converted into a ramen shop. The ramen here is quite tasty, but I would not recommend it for the health-conscious.

The broth was flavorful, it was hard to stop eating although we were full. The service was excellent! The man making the sushi rushed around and filled our waters. The ambiance was simple, the restaurant was clean. We all would definitely come back to eat here. 4 ramen bowls, 2 apps and 2 sushi rolls totaled $107 before tip. Everyone was stuffed and satisfied.

Total plot twist. The place was pretty quiet with only a few diners, so service was steady, though a little slow at times. We ordered the veggie noodles, cucumber salad, lamb skewers, xianbing pancake, and juicy pork dumplings. Overall, the food was decent and comfortably average, but honestly, we were just excited to finally find a Szechuan-style Chinese restaurant nearby. The veggie noodles were the clear winner of the night: chewy, flavorful, and coated in a sauce that had us going back for bite after bite. I could've done without the bok choy, though, and I wish the noodles had been a little less oily. The cucumber salad leaned much sweeter than we expected and was swimming in a bit too much soy sauce for our taste. The pork dumplings were nice and juicy inside, but the wrappers were slightly too doughy. Now the lamb skewers? Absolutely delicious. Great flavor, good portion size, and easily one of the highlights of the meal. The biggest disappointment, unfortunately, was the xianbing pancake. It didn't feel authentic at all. The crepe was way too thick, and the crispy crackers inside had lost all crunch and turned soggy instead. Still, the cozy vibe, solid noodles, and tasty skewers made it a worthwhile visit, especially if you're craving Szechuan flavors around Madison Heights.

And whoever mops the floors must have an irrational childhood fear of cleaning corners. Although the floors themselves are clean, each corner has a disgusting black buildup of filth. Likewise, the sinks in the bathroom. They have not been cleaned well in a very long time. Food: the beef roll pie is delicious. The marinated beef is OK but should be served cold, not room temperature. The steamed dumplings were OK too. However, the noodle dishes were oily, bland, flavorless, and just seasoned with a sweet brown sauce. Further, there is almost no meat to be found in the noodle dishes. What I had looked to be scraps. I paid three dollars extra to have the wide hand cut noodle. It was basically served raw to me. Service: this place has no concept of service. Food comes out haphazardly. First I got my entrée, then my daughter got her entree, then we got two appetizers. Sometime later, my son got his entrée, and the steamed dumplings came. Never once was an empty dish taken away, and never once was a water glass refilled. Service here is absolutely awful. Other than the beef roll pie, there isn't a single redeeming quality about this place. The food is awful, the service is terrible, all surfaces are sticky and dirty. Avoid this place at all cost.
