A few weeks ago we visited Edona's Wine Not. We have visited every week since, sometimes twice! Edonas has made a place that is so welcoming and fun. Her wine selection is very wide on tastes and price point. Edona is a one women show. She does it all serving, stocking, and cleaning all at the same time. And she manages to keep your glass full. Visiting Edona's is like having wine with a friend.

Edona's is a small wine bar that just opened up a few weeks ago! Edona is the owner and she is wonderful, she knows her wine she's been in the game for a few years now. step inside and there's plenty of places to sit, whether you want to sit at the bar and chat with Edona or sit at one of the tables, or the couch, or one of her lovely date rooms! I got their $20 wine flight in which you can pick 4 wines off the menu. Edona recommended wines for me to try based off the questions she asked me and she did not disappoint! I got the moscato, two Rieslings, and a Roscato, my favorite was the moscato with its pear and apple notes it was very crisp and refreshing. On Wednesday's she has 10% off a bottle of wine! The space is very personal and very cute. She has wine on the walls and plenty of decor. Edona has made the place seem like it's been open for a while. Go and check the place out, I will definitely be back!

The vibe is pure microbrewery and I'm so here for it! They are a hybrid brewery/taproom so they have 5-6 of their own beers and a variety of other local/NC breweries, which is great to keep options open while also showcasing in-house brewing! Jeff, the owner & brewer, was behind the bar when I came in and he is the epitome of the foundation of the craft brew scene. All of the in-house beers were fantastic! The quality and beer artistry that went into the beers was evident with each sip! Also, u gotta luv a place that commits to a theme! This one is board sports and from the name to the decor to the beer names, it is ubiquitous and I'm so here for it! The taproom is small yet weirdly spacious...w/bar, table, upstairs, and even patio seating! So come for the beers and stay for the flight boards (as each one is unique)! Beers had: -Vert Ramp Vanilla Cream Ale 5.3% The flavor notes on both the nose & body/finish on this one -Mile Marker 55 Mango Wit 5% Luved that the hint of very distinct mango was on the finish and the wheat/wit was on the front/middle palate! -Morning Sesh Coffee Stout 7% The coffee was prevalent but not overpowering...I could have this beer w/bfast! Made w/Dark Roast Sumatra -Get Barreled BBA Stout 10.1% This is perfection for the abv; no cloying sweetness, u get the toffee/vanilla behind the finish from the barrel-aging but the tannins & malt from the stout -in-barrel come through gorgeously giving u an unsweet BBA stout that holds up to the 10.1% -Shape Shack Passion Fruit Pear Sour 3.4% I usually don't do sours but this one drinks like a prickly pear (fruit) margarita, and I'm not mad about it!

We've had an amazing time on all occasions. The space is very comfortable inside with a huge bar top and cozy seating throughout. Huge variety of whites, reds, sweet and dessert wines, plus a nice beer selection for those more into the hops. They also have a small menu of bites, apps and charcuterie's to go along with the drinks. Not a full meal, but a perfect pairing for the drinks. The owners are a blast as well. So parking is very limited but worth the trouble to stop in for a nice variety of wines in a busy, cozy, unique tavern. They have friendly staff that serve at and around the bar and tables in a effortless manner that amazes me when the place is hopping. I did not have to wait long to place my request or receive same. I inquired about the wine tasting for $5.00 and was told you would receive 2 tastings of white wine. Perhaps they do reds on a different night but I didn't ask. There is a written wine list of reds and whites to order full glasses of whites or reds which should suffice. I asked folks what they were drinking and there were many red wine-o's ha ha. The Bordeaux drinkers were happy with their choice and the Malbec drinkers were satisfied with their choice and commented the wine was soft. I chose a cold Chenin Blanc mostly cuz I haven't seen it on a menu in the Triad for quite some time. It was quite good great nose of sweetness but dry enough to be a good all round table wine. Its similar to Pinot Gregio but not dry or tart. I think when I'm back in GSO I will stop in to this unique wine bar again as it was a nice experience and everyone seemed very chill and friendly.

The menu reflects this with cocktails, wine and beer and the menu is extensive on the beverages! The food menu is terrific and has so much variety and some really nice plates small and large. It was a theater night when we went and we had a 7.30 show to goto and our server knew that. We got there at 5.30 so figured that gave us the 10 mins to walk to the theater to be on time. We started off with some drinks. My friend loved her cherry ale and I really enjoyed my G&T , the glass it came in was just so unusual. The G&T took awhile to finally make it to me but i loved it. We ordered the tuna tartare and that was delicious and served up with fried green tomatoes which was a different take on it. Nice and fresh and nicely presented. Our entrees were the salmon for my friend and I had the Bahn mi chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries. Usually this sandwich is with pork so I wanted to try this. The service for our dinner took almost 45 mins we had finished the app awhile back and my grind had another drink and still we were waiting. It was closing in on 6.50 Pm and at this point we would be inhaling our food when it came and rushing out the door . It came at 7pm and the sandwich was good but they should mention on the menu that it has mayonnaise on it as I don't like that but there was quite a bit on the bun. Not typically in this type of sandwich so I wasn't expecting it. The chicken was a good and flavorful and lots of other veggie fillings and the fries were great. My friend really enjoyed her salmon and the risotto it came with. Just disappointed we had to eat it all so quickly and leave some so we could pay and leave. We had our eye on the lemon posset tart for dessert but we didn't have time . We just thought since the server knew we had theater tickets she would have been more on top of it. Yes they were busy as it was a show night but the place wasn't totally full. Seemed like no urgency when we asked how long the food would be as we had to leave soon. I'd maybe try this place again on a non show night, as I thought they had a great menu. I enjoyed the place just not the service as we barely made the show before the lights went down.

Sauced to the saucy lords. (You feel me?) Every single time, it's a hit. The mac & cheese? Never misses. Some places, you roll the dice--depends on who cooked that day. Not here. It's always cheesy, seasoned, soft, and straight-up comfort in a bowl. And it must sit next to its best friend: the candy yams. That duo never fails me. My go-to order: chicken wings with the snack sauce + yams + mac & cheese. My fiancé sticks to the wings and double fries, and he's never disappointed either. In fact, I can honestly say there's never been a time I've ordered from House Divided and regretted it. If you're hunting for the best wings in Greensboro, House Divided is top tier. Honestly, they're tied with Bon Bons in my book--two legends, one crown.

Lewis and Elm delivers a 5 star experience on so many levels. Many people I've spoken with think it's just a wine bar. Oh no, it goes well beyond your typical wine bar. First off, they have a full bar with a huge specialty cocktail list, craft beers, non alcoholic options and even THC drinks. We had amazing wine off of their impressive list, plus a few cocktails that were mixed extremely well. The food: amazing to say the least. Charcuteries, meats, cheeses, apps, finger foods, and a few uniques you have to get (one in particular). We enjoyed a beautifully plated charcuterie (see pic), the caprese bruschetta, a goat cheese pesto bruschetta, and that one in particular: the medjool dates. Everything was delicious, but these dates were on another level. The dates were surrounded by a bed of creamy Brie cheese melted perfectly, topped with crispy prosciutto and sprinkled with a balsamic reduction. All of this is easily mopped up with the fresh focaccia the dish comes with. This dish rocked! It was perfect on its own, but paired amazingly well with both the chilled white wine and the cocktails we were enjoying. The vibe is amazing as well. Upscale but super comfy interior. Come casual or dressed to impress, it all works here. Live music on the weekends add to the atmosphere and the whole experience. Come for the whole evening, or pre-dinner/pre-show drinks and bites, or even for a night cap after a dinner or show. Come for a quick pit stop, or stay for the live music. It's an all around excellent experience with great drinks, food, service and vibe.
