11/9/25 update: We decided to do a takeout for lunch. We got the kharcho medium size, chicken kebab plate, and lula kebab plate. Those plates are great for at least 2-3 meals. You get huge portions for your money. I loved the kharcho soup, it has lamb, rice garlic, and fresh greens. Next time, I'll have to order a large size. It's that good and it's not spicy. The chicken was very tender and succulent. The lula was savory and not overpowering. Don't sleep on that rice, the rice was one of the best things. I also got a free reusable bag. Very reasonable prices.

My husband & I love Ed's kitchen! Our favorite thing to get is the chicken kebab plate, chebureki, & kharcho soup! We are even thinking about catering from here in the future. The chicken is cooked perfectly every time. The rice is delicious as well as the chopped salad. You can tell how much the owner loves his restaurant, congrats on their renovation!

Was looking for a quick bite to grab with a friend of mine so decided to stop by Ed's Kitchen (which had fabulous reviews). It's a small Mediterranean joint with a few seats inside. The menu has a lot of options with wraps, plates, salads, drinks, and more!! The staff was very sweet and helped us decide what to get! We both ended up getting the chicken shawarma wrap! It was wrapped in a tortilla, instead of a pita. It was filled with juicy and tender chicken, fries, lettuce, pickles, garlic sauce, and a tomato sauce! The food was incredibly flavorful!! I also tried some of their falafel which was the best I've ever had!! Can't wait to go back and try the falafel wrap next time!! I've lived in the Naperville/Woodridge area for the last year and I never knew about this spot!! But now that I do, I'll be going back again for sure!!

Waited over 20 min for a wrap. Ordered no spice and it was so spicy I couldn't eat it. Aside from the spice it was a sloppy mess that fell apart. Take a look at the photo. I wouldn't feed this to my dog. These reviews must have been purchased because I wouldn't wish this food on my worst enemy.

This is the BEST mediterranean wraps I've ever had! I got the Chicken Shawarma Wrap, it's packed with flavor and the chicken is so tender and juicy. They've grilled the outside so the tortilla wrap is fresh and crispy. The combination of the pickle, fries, veggies, and sauce complement each other perfectly. The portions are pretty big as well, very filling! Definitely a new favorite I'll be coming back to in the future! Food: 10/10

Few seats in front of restaurant but mostly for carry out.

Greek salads were fresh and authentic. Grilled calamari was tasty but could have been better plated/ presented possibly on crisp spinach(?) Noticed most plates passing by weren't too well finished. Bread served either wasn't fresh or just very bland. 5 layer carrot cake was very tasty. Baklava though large, was just so-so. Though the room we sat in was only 1/2 full the noise level was disturbing. Needs fabric on walls, cloth drapes, sound baffles. Or carpeted floors. At this price point I did expect more.

Another female was working, maybe his daughter. And of course, our waiter who was kind of friendly, but from the look of the owner and the female bigger woman she had on a jacket they act very suspicious and my husband who is from Greece he said the food taste like it was mixed with dog food, and leftovers from the day or two before! we had the pistachio, Saganashkee and a salad. The location is near like a train station. The restaurant seems somewhat clean, but the mood and the restaurant was very weird and unpleasant.

Greetings! Just a…read morefollow up review, more like a super check-in... Background: It was our son's birthday, MOST of the time, birthday dinners are home-cooked family affairs...his choice this year: Apolis run! We live forty minutes away, and it's worth the ride every time. Our party of seven lined up, placed our orders, and the kitchen got to work. Entrees and sides prepared perfectly, right down to sauce on the side for the seventh entree. It was a pleasure to meet the owner, Mike G. I had the opportunity to thank him for years of great eating. Furthermore, I noticed the sign of a great leader: When it got busy, he jumped in and helped his amazing staff. He leads by example, and it shows. We all had various forms of rice bowls and pitas. Of special note this visit: The sides! The pork and chicken souvlaki are simply divine. The oven roasted Greek potatoes seems like they're right out of your favorite rah-ra's oven. Full of flavor, and mind-blowing. The rice pudding and baklava, as my SIL said, ..."took a 98 point visit and made it a 100 point visit...". My thanks to Mike G. and the amazing staff for a wonderful meal. It was greater than great, and for a family birthday meal, I wouldn't want anything less. Until next time...tk

Super clean restaurant with a lot of made to order choices. I had a salad bowl with a lettuce base gyro meat (the beef and lamb) tomato, onion and cukes topped with tzatziki sauce that is wonderfully home made. It comes with a fresh pita cut into wedges. There are a ton more veggie toppings that you can get and about 7 different sauces to choose from. It was so good !! The gyro meat is nothing like I have had in other restaurants selling gyros. This is not the ground up, pressed Into a cone shape and then placed on a spot, this is steak and lamb slices compressed and then put on the spit and shaved off in little tender bits. Now I know gyros can be greasy but these weren't at all !! Husband got a platter that came with two sides. He chose a marinated tomato, green pepper, onion and cucumber salad and some fries. His gygo meat pile came on a bed of rice. This is a huge plate of food !! For these two meals and a soda (fountain and refillable) it was 41.67 with tax. Well worth it as I ate at 5pm and am still stuffed at 9.

I went with the grilled chicken plate which came with 2 sides. Honestly, the portion size was large and can easily be split with another person. Plenty of chicken that is seasoned nicely. I went with greek potatoes and rice as my sides. I did feel like they use a lot of cooking oil which is what took a star off for me. The chicken is hot off the grill, taste sauce is good and I love the it comes stuffed with a few fries just like in Greece! My family also really likes the chicken gyros and pork chop platter. We also enjoy picking up items like Greek Honey or Caprice cookies when they have them. On my last visit I had a Mythos which took me right back to sitting on the beach on the Greek Islands. I enjoy the decor as well. My only gripe is still the seating. We are a family of bad backs and sitting at the picnic table benches is incredibly uncomfortable for us. I wish I could pull a chair out of the gaming lounge. This place is a must try!!!!!
