Fernando was a great server, attentive and friendly. The organic margarita was perfectly balanced, and the chunky guacamole had good flavor but way too much pico compared to avocado. Not worth it. The arroz con pollo was outstanding with tender, juicy chicken and a great grilled flavor. My friend had the tacos de chorizo, a little dry but still tasty. Service was attentive and friendly. However, he did constantly try to sell us more alcohol even after we said no. It almost became a running joke after a while, because he asked if we wanted another margarita or a shot so many times lol. The food arrived fast and piping hot. I ordered the veggie chimichanga without cheese. It was delicious. The crust was flaky, soft on the inside and crunchy on the outside. The refried beans were bland though. The food was ok. The Mexican rice did not taste fresh. The chicken green chilaquiles also didn't taste fresh. My 2 eggs were overcooked and brown. The only thing done really well was the slice of steak in my order. The chips and salsa were delicious. The salsa and steak were the highlight of my meal. The service was good. We have been eating at Eduardo's (off and on) for over twenty years. Many years back they served great food with a family owned type of vibe. But, as with many small eateries changing staff, cook staff, and such caused lackluster changes and very ordinary food offerings. That being said, we like to think that these changes often end up on the positive side...well, not so much!! After staying away for over a year after our last visit we returned recently and were, once again very disapointed! Service was very good and quick (as in the past) They have increased size and seating capacity but the food has suffered, from the thick / coarse chips, to enchiladas with over cooked chicken or shredded beef, and lackluster sauces the food truly disappoints. Plus, efforts to provide a more thematic interior was ruined with super bright and cold white down lighting in the dining areas...I doubt we will re-visit any time in the future .. read more

First time visiting and they were busy which is a good sign. I originally wanted a combination dinner but they all came with beef with no substitutions so I went with the chicken enchiladas with salsa verde topped with cilantro and chopped raw onions. They were good but enchiladas were room temperature. Overall enjoyed so will be back read more

I'm back w. Another banging review! So if you have been following me, I had paused my adventures of finding the best Chinese Food in the A to get my summer body In Tip Top shape! After doing a 24hr fast, I was craving a good filling meal! Came here this past Sunday for dinner and had a Shrimp Burrito Grande. The Burrito was really delicious! The salsa that was brought out with the nachos was really, really good! And fact I had to get more to pair with the burrito. They charge for 1$. I didn't know until I got my bill and I had a glass of Merlo for 6$ all came under 21$. Today was busy. Outdoor seating is available. Don Eduardo's Mexican Grill is easily in my top 5 picks of Best Mexican Food in the A. Amazing Service. They do ask for ID for alcoholic beverages. Highly recommended establishment! read more

I've been here a few times before cause it's rated high and I always forget to review...probably cause the food is forgettable sorry to say. The menu is creative though. The place is a corner of the plaza with indoor out door seating. Very dark and assuming. Service is always good. Kinda middle of the line. The chips were really is just alright. I enjoyed my plate though. It was a lot. But I was very happy with my selection. I tried my husbands chicken (shredded) quesadilla and it was good. My soon had kids chicken tenders and it was really a hit. I would go again if I'm in the area but maybe not necessarily out of my way. read more

Health score A, Food A, Service A. I love Mexican food and this is my first time visiting this restaurant. I must say that it's not a fancy place but definitely receives high scores overall. I was delighted to see a menu that had eight or more vegetarian options. I chose to go with the vegetarian nachos and am definitely delighted. The nachos are loaded with fresh vegetables including broccoli and zucchini and a great cheese sauce. These are the best nachos I've ever had. Adding beans would really make them incredible. I think I have found my new to-go place for vegetarian nachos and other food. read more

Eduardo's will serve you up some reliably good Mexican food. My first reaction is, this is comfort food. The chips are crisp and the salsa is fresh and tangy. Our cheese dip was just too tasty--we should have gotten the larger size. Service was attentive. Our server paid attention when my wife explained her allergies, and he made some excellent suggestions which she accepted. She was very happy with her enchiladas. I was very happy with my chicken & rice. It was amazingly cheesy, and I am enamored of all things cheese. These things alone would be enough to get me to go back, but there are other things on the menu I want to try, like the grilled steak burrito, and I've heard they have a shrimp & corn chowder that is highly recommended. Don't expect anything too fancy - this is the kind of Mexican food/restaurant I love. Great chips and salsa, good enchiladas and fajitas and don't skip on churros for dessert because they are divine! Amazing Shrimp and Corn Chowder as well as other food that's not your standard Mexican. Their chips with dip are to die for. I had the Carne Asada Burrito without Rice. The Steak was hot and tender. The other ingredients, black beans, sour cream, etc made the Burrito too soupy and sloppy to eat with your hands. The Pico de gallo and the Salsa was delicious and fresh. I'm giving them four stars for the Burrito being a liquidy mess, although it had a nice flavor, use a fork and knife to eat it. I will probably try them again with instructions to put the soupy ingredients on the side. By the way the portions are more than adequate for dine-in, enough for two easily. Worth a go and very cozy atmosphere. The music is appropriate and not too loud. Had hand painted pictures of what I assume is a farm from Mexico they look quite beautiful on the walls. Drinks are strong. The Peach and Mango Margaritas were the bomb. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Eduardo's Mexican Grill is a corner destination offering standard Mexican plates from burritos to fajitas, in low-key environs. There are lots of Mexican restaurants in Tucker but for old fashioned Mexican comfort food Eduardo's is great. Located next to Kroger, so there's plenty of shared free parking available. Can easily accommodate large groups as well. Loved this place, will be back very soon. read more

Margaritas were a little watered down but my Tacos al Carbon we're just as I wanted - fresh, warm and ready to get in my belly. The staff was friendly. The salsa was your average salsa - nothing to write home about. It's in the Kroger plaza on LaVista not far from 285. Plenty of parking. Staff was friendly and welcoming. It was easy to split checks. The margarita is a weak- considering it's $8. However, if you like cilantro in your food, then this might be a good choice. I happen to be a super-taster, so I GET the awesomeness of cilantro. If you don't- you won't want to come here. The selections of food and drinks are extensive, which is good! They actually have their vegetarian options all in one spot, to make it easier for people that are vegetarian wimps. Ok- I've been here for a whole 10 minutes and I'm already half-way thru my meal! Wow . They work fast! I have to change my original statement about this not being your place due to cilantro. The cilantro IS present, but the soft taco I just ate is reason enough to come all in its own. The meat is perfectly cooked and has a good mouthfeel as well as a delicious flavor. The cheese is awesome and you can see in my picture, the soft taco comes with far more cheese and meat than the crunchy one. I was already thinking the meat was better than average- then I ate that soft taco and the tables were turned! The burrito almost hid the flavor of the beef, so I'm really glad I got tacos. Oh, my goodness! What a nice discovery, finding Eduardo's Mexican Grill, in Tucker. It was my mother's first time out since the pandemic started, and it was a great day! We started it at Eduardo's, and that was a such a good decision. Outdoor seating, with flower boxes well maintained made it really special. Our service was spectacular! I have gone to this place several times. I like the atmosphere and the staff is always friendly and the food and portions are good. However, I do not know what happened this time. I ordered chips and guac to go, and for some reason, I had much more pico de gallo than avocado. The taste was good, but I was disappointed, because I was expecting more avocado. Ordered the fajita nachos and fajitas. I had the fajita nachos and the chicken was barely chopped making it difficult to eat, it was like having grilled chicken tenders. The plate of nachos only had about 10 chips, I had to use the chips from the salsa to be able to eat and the queso was terrible. It was chunky and taste like old velveeta. When I asked the server for extra queso (hoping I would get a fresh serving but it all looked the same, cold and chunky) he looked confused as to what I wanted, like he's never heard of queso before.
