I had never heard of eegee's before, but it was close to our airbnb and the broadcasted Cherry Cider Eegee kept hitting me in the face every time we drove past. The worker there was really friendly and gave me a great recommendation of added sour gummies to my eegee. Didn't try any of the food from here, but I really enjoyed my eegee. It tasted like a more flavorful slushie and the sour gummies were a really great addition. My big issue is that there were not actual fruit pieces in my eegee as advertised. It was still good, just not quite what I was expecting. I feel like it's a bit of false advertising. Lots of sugar and coldness and I was satisfied without having to finish the whole thing. The cashier asked him if he was ready to order and he said no and she then went to the back; I would have though she would have asked me if I was ready to order. This was not a big problem because we were the only two customers in the store but it does cause you to wonder why you are being ignored; likely not intentionally. I went in yesterday to buy a $25 gift card. The employee didn't seem to know how to activate it but said it was good to go, so I left with it. When I called the number on the back to check the balance, it showed nothing was loaded and I was planning to mail it to my daughter for her birthday. I went back in today to have it fixed, but the manager on duty told me he didn't know how to load the gift card either. Two trips, and still couldn't get the gift card activated. I tried to order through the app but couldn't order the flavor of the month drink because the site was not updated. I spoke to a district rep, named Ivan, who was the most helpful part of the whole experience. He was very sincere and immediately had a thought on how to fix the problem. Unfortunately, the fix did not work and kept giving an error message. We ordered two drinks, each a different flavor. We received two drinks with both flavors mixed. We ordered two grinders. One had none of the lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, or anything except red peppers. We have continuously watched the quality of the food decline and now most of the drinks taste very much like medicine. Tried to order through their website for multiple family members, and kept error messages to delete items and coupons (??), but was unable to delete any items, or the coupon the website applied. I eat at this eegee's fairly regularly (Read twice per month). Please consider I am ranking this ONLY against other eegee's. Not comparing to other sandwich shops in the area. Good sandwich (Original Grinder), quick drive thru, fries always cooked perfectly, love the crinkle fries! Why 4 stars you ask...During multiple visits, there seems to be much confusion on how to process free eegee's for completing a survey or redeeming monetary rewards earned through the app. In fact, on 11/14/2021 - the staff could not process my $5 reward after almost 10 minutes in the drive through, they pulled 3 employees together and could not crack the code. As the cars piled up behind me in queue - I conceded the reward and departed absent taking advantage of the $5 discount. Completely disgusting.. Cashier was cleaning up garbage when we arrived. He then proceeded to take our order and scoop up our icees. Didn't wash hands and didn't wear gloves. While he was scooping, if he had any excess build up on the side he would simply take his thumb and scrape it off back into the container. Common food handling skills are not required to work here. Been getting the Vegi grinder for years. Just got home with a sandwich from the 29th/Alvernon store. It always has been on white bread but today It is on wheat bread. I called and was advised that as of January 1 it is now standard on wheat bread. It January 24th . I would think that a big change such as type of bread would be mentioned when the change has been in effect for less than a month. Very disappointed. read more

My daughter had her preschool graduation and we were to bring their favorite lunch for a picnic afterwards. Her pick was eegee's so I did an online order at 10:02 and it said it would be ready in 12 minutes. We arrived at 10:20 and the order had not even been started, we waited for 10 minutes as they continued to tell us it was almost ready. Needless to say we missed the ceremony. At this time there were no cars in drive thru or parking lot so busyness was not the issue. This is the second time I have placed an online order and the food wasn't started until I arrived. ressive Dogs in the Store and Unsanitary Conditions To whom it may concern: On November 18, 2023 at approximately 4:20 p.m, I stopped at Eee Gee's on 1530 W Grant Rd, Tucson, AZ 85745 to order a meal. When I entered the store, I saw a woman at the counter either waiting for, or ordering her food. She was the only person at the counter. She had two dogs: One a chihuahua, and the other, a large brown dog. Both dogs were on very long leases, and she did not have control of the dogs as the brown dog was pacing back and forth. As I walked toward the counter, the dogs started growling at me and I stopped and asked the woman to control her dogs. The server at the counter told the woman to move away from the counter, which she did, but the dogs continued to growl. She then walked over to a table where she stood with her dogs. People have to sit at these tables to eat. I placed my order, paid for my food, and asked the counter person why dogs were in a food establishment if they did not appear to be therapy dogs as they were not wearing therapy jackets. Furthermore, therapy dogs do not bother customers - they do not growl and they do not threaten strangers in public places since they are trained solely to attend to their disabled owners. I told the counterperson that I felt uncomfortable as the dogs continued to growl. The owner of the dogs then began yelling at me, asking me what my problem was. She appeared to be drunk or high, and I ignored her. The counterperson told the woman not to speak to the customers, or she would be asked to leave. The woman with the dogs continued yelling and then a shouting match ensued between the counterperson and the woman with the dogs. There was another man in the store who appeared to be an employee who was sitting at one of the tables. He was heavy set with a black tee shirt. I assumed he was an employee because he walked behind the counter. I later learned that he was the manager. He did nothing to intervene, and this fiasco went on until I ordered my food. Your staff has a responsibility to protect its customers for both safety and sanitary reasons. As a responsible owner of two dogs, I understand the need for therapy dogs, but once your staff was on notice that these animals posed a potential threat, proactive steps should have been taken, at minimum by a manager on duty. I have been a faithful EeeGee's customer since they opened their doors. After the company was sold, I tried to give it a chance because I support local vendors, but I will never visit another Eee Gee's after this experience. Customer safety, security, cleanliness and professionalism which used to be a bonus for Eee Gee's no longer exists, and It is no longer the store that it used to be. So far, I have only been to the eegee's at 2510 Speedway but I want to specifically write a review for this location as I always feel that the staff are friendly and polite. Yes, once my order was messed up with the wrong sub and they apologized. They offered to make another sub but I said, no, no worries. But for the number of times that I've been through their drive thru, that one time is nothing. My order is usually accurate and I appreciate that the employees are friendly. I also feel the eegee's has the best fries around! Fresh, crisp, tasty. I always get the turkey and provolone sub and it's pretty good for the overall price of a meal. I LOVE the pina colada eegee! I quite enjoyed this quick stop at eegee's! The prices are reasonable and the ham and cheese sub was made fresh and very tasty! The bread was very soft and fresh! Tje counter help was very friendly too. She recommended the chocolate chip cookie when I peeked at them, although I declined- they didn't look homemade- they were prepackaged- I took a star off just because no fresh cookies and the place needed to be swept too but it was lunch hour so... otherwise the place, tables, counters etc were clean - some nice decor would freshen it up a bit :) A good quick grab a sub and run spot to enjoy! read more

I went through the drive thru and ordered an 8 inch Grinder, fries and a medium ice water. Which took 10+ minutes. Was told that they could give me water, but would need to charge me for the cup. So they rang me up for an iced tea at $1.79 plus tax. I didn't complain, I get it's the cost of doing business to get a larger size, especially in Tucson. I got back to work, to enjoy my sandwich, to which I then unhappily discovered was missing the cheese and the bread was hard and crumbling like it had been left out in the sun. I decided to call because I didn't have time to go back. Someone who answered the phone said the manager couldn't talk because they were busy, but took my name and said they would leave a note with my receipt number saying I would come in another day to discuss this, but didn't request my phone #. Why do you assume I want to come back, you obviously don't have time for feedback. A few suggestions: 1) Make your managers available to customers who need assistance. 2) Close your bread bags when not in use. 3) Figure out what the true "cost" of a cup is for people requesting water instead of charging people for items they're not buying. 4) If your going to nit pick price of a cup, make sure the sandwich comes complete with what it's supposed to come with. read more

HOWEVER, we'll have to go to another location, perhaps the other Eegee's on Speedway near Stone... The drive thru speaker must be broken or something because despite speaking loudly, they can never hear me clearly, this leads to messed up orders. Even so, once you get to the window the customer service is horrible and they never give me a napkin!! Often times they'll forget a spoon, straw, or both! I believe this is a local Tucsonian chain, because I've never encountered an Eegees anywhere else. After a ridiculously filling lunch at El Guero Canelo, where else would we consider going for a post-Mexican feast dessert than Eegees for their renowned flavored ices? Under the watchful gaze of Cap'n Eegee, the green-suited super-hero with a giant "E" belt buckle painted up on the wall, we ordered our snacks. Apparently the flavors sometimes rotate, but the offerings when we went were lemon, pina colada, strawberry, and watermelon. I found that the kid's size was plenty as a sweet tooth satisfier. Don't forget that you can mix two flavors - I ended up getting half watermelon and half pina colada. The Eegees guy serving ices uses a blocky metal stick contraption to load up one half of a cup vertically with one flavor, then impressively fills up the other half with the other. It's almost a shame that it's not a more marketable skill elsewhere - I was thoroughly entertained with the spectacle. There's definitely some real fruit in the ices, although it's obvious that a lot of it is artificial flavoring. My pina colada had actual bits of coconut shreds in it. Yum! read more
