The slushees are sooo good!! Ordered a big styrofoam bucket of it and drove it back to California. It was still so good after a long drive!!! Can't wait to go back!!

ANY time I visit Tucson, even if I've been binge eating the entire time I'm there, I still make it a point to have eegees at some time during my stay. I got to stop by yesterday for my absolute favorite sandwich there: Veggie grinder on whole wheat with no tomatoes and extra house dressing. I could order that sandwich in my sleep! It is soooooo good and so fresh. Along with the sandwich, I tried their flavor of the month, Orange Dream, which was really good. The woman working at the window was very nice and the experience and food were both top notch. Eegee's is the best!

Recently remodeled Eegees on the south side near the airport and not too far from Valencia and i-10. Almost always clean say about 9 out of 10. Clean and usually lots of seats inside except for lunch times. There is some outdoor seating in a walled area. Food is sandwiches, but everyone comes for the frozen drinks. IF you have NOT had an EEGEES drink then you have missed out on a excellent Tucson tradition. You can get a mix with upto 3 flavors, sometimes more, But I don't recommend more than two. Single lane drive through. I don't like how recently they park everyone, even when there is no one behind you. I usually just pull to the front door and wait unless another car actually comes behind me. Parking lot can be tight as it is shared with other businesses. Biggest grips with Eegees is the changing coupon policies. They used to take whatever, but now they are strict on dates and annual coupon card. Also I believe they had discounts at age 55 but now they raised it. They also got rid of the Frito Chilito after raising the price several times.

I have been told for many years that, if ever in Tucson, I had to go by Eegee's and get one of their slushies. I was told they were amazing. The staff were very friendly at this location. We tried the flavor of the month, along with one of the standards. The strawberry had a weird aftertaste, so we both went with the lime slushy. It was mediocre. The wow factor I was expecting never arrived. It is simply a slushy. I don't understand the hype. Perhaps it is nostalgic for people from Tucson.

Stopped in here with the family, everyone seemed to enjoy there food. My meatball sandwich tasted like the meatballs and sauce had been cooking all night - not good. Easy in and out off of Valencia. Also this is a newer building so it is nice on the inside and out. On the plus side for those nice days there is plenty of outside seating.

The fruit slush was really good and chunks of fruit (pineapple). Sandwiches were just ok, but the service was phenomenal. Sorry I didn't get the cashiers name, but he took the time to explain everything on the menu.

Gotta try it! So good

Martha, again thank you for being a great and friendly greeter when I'm here! I still live this place. The great quality food is delicious and the eegee is always amazing!

My Dr Pepper drink. I was drinking and something went into my mouth thro straw. Bottom of cup was a folded napkin. Sick.

Folks behind the counter are very friendly. The only thing I noticed is they seem to struggle with a really clunky point of sale system. There were many looks and gasps of bewilderment from the two folks trying to ring up orders. This significantly slowed down the long line. They have weird policies around adding chicken to the Bobbi salad. It literally makes no sense to charge $3.50 to add chicken to that salad when it costs $2.99 to add it to any other salad. It's the same amount of chicken, according to the folks behind the counter, but they have to do what the clunky point of sale system tells them to do. Otherwise the food is good and it's a decent spot to grab a note to eat. I recommend the bullrider wrap. Don't add chicken to your Bobbi salad. Mayhem.

The spot was pretty much empty when we walked in and we were able to choose our seat. It's huge and spacious inside and nice and clean. Our server was the only one working and she was staying on top of it with our drinks, order and the food. They serve mesquite grilled steaks so if that's not your thing, you may not enjoy it, but for me and my family, we love a mesquite charred steak. I got the filet mignon and although it had a crispy char outside, it was soft and buttery inside - perfectly cooked for me! It's a mix of Mexican and American food, so for instance the steak was served with a tortilla which I thought was cool. The sides also were great...I especially loved the beans and Mac n Cheese. I genuinely enjoyed our experience here!

My steak was cooked absolutely beautifully, and I had them cook it blue which most restaurants over cook it. But they cooked it perfectly. Props to the chef! The restaurant is family friendly and has an old western feel. It is definitely a gem of Tucson. I recommend this place to everyone. They even have regulars that come in just to see the workers. This is a restaurant that I will definitely be coming back too. Thank you so much!!

I wouldn't say that it is top of the line cooking, but it is very delicious and definitely worth a visit this side of town. Parking can be a little challenging, they do share a parking lot with other businesses, but close in, there are not that many spots. Service is always friendly and makes you feel comfortable. Interesting atmosphere with flamingos galore and other things decorating the inside. Gives it somewhat of a party and fun feel. Food comes out in a timely manner even when they are very busy. Prices are reasonable. Give it a try, I think you'll like it. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs!

I went during a lunch break and the food both myself and my coworkers got all ended up being incredible. There is seating in the back of the store but a massive selection of all kinds of Italian goods, both in freezers and in a deli-style section. The menu has all kinds of classic favorites and I tried a sandwich that had fresh burrata, which was the exact thing I was craving. The prices are decent for the size of the portions and I also ended up snagging a bag of Baci candies on my way out! The feast of the seven fishes is our yearly tradition during the holidays, and when it rolls around, Angie (I'm not making that up, that is her real name--I told you she was Italian) will grab stuff from Roma by the armful. I am of the opinion that the prepared foods from here can range from the, "Mama Mia!" (really really tasty) to the, "Eh, Cosi cosi" (you know, it passes) range. I'm a people-person and love to observe the patrons. Many of the customers appear to be of Italian descent and, like my bettah half seem to really-enjoy the traditional and authentic staples of, Il Bel Paese (The beautiful country). Food from many different regions of Italy are available. The decor is kinda fun. In my mind, when I think of what an Italian trattoria should look like, this place comes to mind... it's got the classic red and white checkered table clothes, maps and landscapes of Italy adorning the walls, and an energy of a place that is well cared for. A religious icon or two will also dot the interior landscape. The aroma of slowly simmering tomato gravy, cut garlic, roasted meats, chopped onions, and olive oil fills the air. It's an experience. Sometimes life imitates art, and hand to gawd, on my mutha's life... the last times I went, der was deeze tree guys sitt'n in dah corner. I swears, dey cou'da been cast members from the Sopranos. Ayhhyyee! Was'amatta, youse? The staff is generally warm and enthusiastic about their offerings. They generally have been super helpful, and if it's not too busy, are more than happy to make suggestions for new items or how best to prepare the items we have purchased. When we have visited, 90% of the time, the place was crack'n (meaning: super busy and full of life!). Sometimes, as we drive away and I take a peek at the receipt, I will exclaim, "Davvero! È così caro!" Loosely translated that means, "Really! That's so expensive!" My wife, who only knows a few words of Italian, has no idea that I was pooping my pantaloni over the cost... but, bless her heart, she seems to think the food here is worth every penny. Generally, I agree. So next time you go, remember to leave the gun, but take the cannoli. Mangiare!
