Super quick. Super efficient and effective communication. Let's face it. We're all busy. I don't necessarily have the luxury of stopping what I'm doing in the middle of the day or stepping away from my desk to make a call. It's much easier to respond via email or text and I suspect that's the case for most busy individuals these days. They called me ahead of time to let me know Chris was on his way to get my appliances fixed. Our Maytag washer was rockin' & rollin' even with the lightest of wash loads & our dryer has no power at all. After a quick diagnostic test, Chris has everything all figured out. It took him a couple of hours (including time he had to obtain parts) but he got our washer & dryer all fixed up! Repair cost was on par with just about any other repair network in the Valley with far better communication. Not fun paying this stuff out of pocket but still considerably less expensive than a new washer & dryer. I would not hesitate at all to recommend Appliance Works to my friends, family or fellow Yelp'ers!

I called another company for a 2nd opinion and he told me that the fridge is still under warranty for parts only. I would still pay the labor. These more expensive builtin units have better warranties than stand alone units. So I called customer service at frigidaire and they got someone out right away and ordered the parts. They explained that I will only be paying for labor to install the new parts, which will have their own warranty and I agreed. I saved about $3,000 NOT using Appliance Works. They've lost a property manager with several properties under management now.

We went to the appliance store and told them what was going on and were told that it was NOT a fixable problem. We also confirmed that with via another knowledgeable source. We specifically asked Dean if we needed to purchase the kit for him to install for the appointment. He told us no, that he already had the stuff. We set the appointment for between 0800-1000 the following Tuesday . We confirmed the appt with him at 0759. He said he'd be here around 0900. Didn't show up until 1015. Came inside and then my wife showed him our washtower. He took a call while she was talking to him. When he finished the call, he then asked her how much we paid for our washer/dryer. He then moved the unit over to the left to get a better view of the work area then told us we needed to purchase the kit (the one he said we didn't need), then basically told us our new unit was crap and we'd maybe get 2-3 years out of it at best. Gave us a (decent) quote for labor. Told us to call when we get the necessary kit, then left. I had to move the washtower unit back to its original position myself. Ended up calling another local company they came out within 2 hours (with the kit) and did the job in less than an hour. *in response to the unprofessional Google response from the business edited to add...we have the encounter on security video, and I'm MORE THAN happy to upload it for everyone to see for themselves. I've been accused of many things in my lifetime, but I've never been accused of actually being rude. Honest, yes. Too nice, yes. Rude no. Rude is showing up an hour and 15 minutes after you confirmed a specific time. Rude is taking a phone call while your current customer is in the middle of talking to you. Rude is asking someone how much they paid for something. Rude is repeatedly dropping your tools down onto the floors. Rude is cutting my wife off repeatedly while she was trying to speak to you and then Dean turn to address things with me instead. She's not invisible...but she is the legal homeowner, not me.
