That company was Elite. They responded to my quote request quickly and spoke with me about what I needed help with. We got scheduled quickly and then Steve Sr. came by in our scheduled window to help me out. Steve was great! Friendly, professional, enjoyed saying hi to my very enthusiastic dog and kept me informed of all the repairs my machines needed along the way. My machines are up and running like new only about an hour and a half since he arrived. Highly recommend these folks, they're my go to for appliance repair.

We chose this because we would be home and it was a good time for them to come. They left a voicemail at 930am saying they can come in the morning (when we are not available). I was in meetings and didn't see the voicemail. We call them at 3:30 to see when the tech will be here and they say, "oh sorry, he was trying to service your house at 10am but you were not available." I KNOW THAT! THAT'S WHY WE CHOSE 2-4PM!! One Guard home warranty sent Homeward to my home for a broken microwave handle. Although I had…read morepaid for premium coverage through One Guard which would cover the handle, Josh from Homeward diagnosed a broken handle as "not normal wear and tear" on a 10 year old microwave seemingly a dubious evaluation. I spoke with Josh at length and the first story was that my micro door was not available. After ending conversation I found it 35 seconds later online and could have had it delivered in 2 days, which I texted to Josh and he said "Okay Cool" on April 5, 2022. I patiently waited for Josh to turn in his report to One Guard. After six days, (should have happened within 72 hours) I called One Guard on April 11 only to find out that Josh had never submitted any report. Regardless, after a month of waiting, One Guard told me they were ordering the door. Hearing nothing I called back a few days later and they were not due to Josh's dubious evaluation on a 10 year old microwave. Moral of this review: I ordered the door myself for $327 which Josh had quoted over $500 for on the first conversation saying it was out of stock or not obtainable any longer, had it two days later and installed in 15 minutes. Do not rely on Homeward Appliance Repair for honesty if they are hired by One Guard. I am so very disappointed in both companies!

We have a refrigerator that is decades old (it was here when we bought the house). Inside is a…read morebusiness card from Lewis Appliance in Scottsdale with a handwritten date, 1990! So, the first time we had issue with the unit, we called Lewis Appliance and they fixed the problem. It's a family business -- they were fun and friendly, as well as efficient. Two years later, I decided to add stainless steel door inserts on our oak-panel fridge/freezer -- I called them to ask if it was something they could do -- yes! Fridge/freezer now looks up to date and is beautiful. Another two years down the road, our unit was making noises. The son-in-law stopped by and discovered there was a clogged line which he cleared and the problem was resolved. We couldn't be more pleased with this company.

Marcus instantly responded to my text this morning and was available to address our many appliance…read moreissues: Refrigerator-plugged condensation pan; dishwasher-seemed to be running dry on and would not shut off; viking gas stove/oven-burner igniters clicking and large oven was not heating properly. Yeah, that was a lot but he told me it was not an issue. Marcus chose to work on the refrigerator system first to stop the melt water from hitting the floor-a more important issue than the oven and dishwasher-perfect triage! He was quick and thorough with the freezer compartment disassembly and repair. While I was disinfecting the freezer, Marcus worked on the dishwasher and found that its nearly 20-year circuit board brain had failed and that replacements were not available (I knew the unavailability of the board would probably be the case as a GE tech had warned me this would happen back in 2018). I asked him which brands were best and biggest pain to work on, and the info he provided also checked out with what I had heard from others. Finally, he checked out the stove top and realized the electrical connection to the igniter electrode was wiggled loose. Then he found the oven igniter electrodes needed to be replaced but ALSO that the right burner bar had gotten clogged and needed to be cleaned! Through all his work, Marcus took time to explain anything I was curious about. Bonus for me-I consider myself a "Jill of Many Trades," but I still learned some tricks and tips from him. :-) Marcus is super professional and extremely knowledgeable and fair with his pricing and offers warranty for his work. Their quote was more affordable than the others, and when they came to the house and diagnosed the issue, it was what they thought --an inlet valve. They were polite, fast, and replaced the valve with a new part so we can wash our clothes again. We are so happy we found AZ Appliance! They will definitely have our business for our future needs.
