Egg Break turned out to be an amazing breakfast stop. My husband ordered the breakfast burger, and I had the sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich. The bread stood out--soft, flavorful, and it tasted fresh-baked and homemade. They're pet-friendly outside, and one of the staff members even mentioned we could bring Luna inside if she was well-behaved, which was such a thoughtful touch. We decided to stay outside since we were just grabbing a quick meal, but it was great to know they were so welcoming. Inside, the ambiance was really cool with plenty of space. The ordering process was modern and efficient--you walk in, place your order at one of four self-service stations, and then track your order on a screen by number, name, and prep time. Very streamlined and easy. If I lived locally, this would definitely be a go-to breakfast spot.

If you're looking for high quality breakfast sandwiches in a comfy setting, Egg Break does not disappoint. They do a lot of things well here, such as streamlining the ordering process with several kiosks as not to bottleneck orders with one cashier. They also have plenty of seating upstairs or down, with a quieter ambiance so that you can hear the people you're eating with, or your own thoughts. My breakfast sandwich was fresh and delicious with no complaints. However, I did find the price points for the items here come in higher than expected, as well as the wait for my sandwich. I came here with a friend visiting from New York where the breakfast sandos are quicker, cheaper and still tasty. Now that I know this spot is more of a laid back vibe, I'm sure that next time I stop in it will be top notch.

Just as the hype claims, Egg Break left a delicious first impression. We grabbed two Egg Break Bowl's to go and they were fantastic. The combination of rice, runny egg yolk, house-made pickles, and bacon was something I didn't even realize I was missing in my life. It's hearty but not heavy. I wish there had been a little less peach balsamic but other than that, I wouldn't change a thing. Everything traveled well and was packed with flavor. And being gluten free was a bonus for me! I'll absolutely be back to try their sandwiches and experience dining in.

Egg Break is a great little breakfast spot that does one thing really well: breakfast sandwiches (plus a few solid sides). Simple, focused, and delicious. There's plenty of parking, which is always a win. Ordering is super easy--you place your order and pay at the self-service screens, then they call your name when it's ready. I ordered the egg & sage sausage sandwich, and it was exactly what I hoped for. The yolk was perfectly runny, dripping just enough to soak into the bread in the best possible way. I also grabbed the tater tots, which were crispy, flavorful, and absolutely worth adding. For a drink, I had the orange-pineapple-mango mix, which was bright, refreshing, and a great balance to the sandwich. The space itself is really fun and inviting. It's bright, clean, and thoughtfully designed, with upstairs seating, cozy nooks, and even quirky egg-shaped chairs. There's also a tucked-away vault area decked out with eggs which adds to the playful vibe. Plenty of seating and an easy place to hang out and enjoy your food. Great food, easy ordering, cool space--we'll definitely be back.

This was the cutest restaurant with fun egg decor. There are all sorts of breakfast sandwiches, tots and juices here. I really enjoyed the Salt City juice which had freshly squeezed orange juice, pineapple juice, strawberry puree and fresh blackberries. The service was fast and friendly as well, I definitely will be back to try more menu items!

The food was delicious and so good. I got the egg sandwich with the side of bacon and we shared the biscuits and it was amazing that we had a good food coma. The service was quick and easy to use. Either you can order on the self order service or on the counter. The place has lots of seating and cool art work to see. I highly recommend this place to bring family, friends or couple breakfast date

Located right next to tracks. Might be a good idea to take it there because not a ton of parking although there was some in a back lot that isn't too far away. Very interesting fun menu. Super cutely decorated lots of photo ops. Not super fast food/service. I think they do a huge dash/Uber eats business because a lot of people coming in to pick up to go. Order done at a kiosk. We both liked our sandwiches but $20 each is a little pricey for a cutesy breakfast in my opinion.

Egg Break: Where Breakfast Sandwiches Steal the Show and Your Heart Nestled in South Salt Lake's burgeoning Commonwealth District, Egg Break isn't just a breakfast spot--it's a morning revolution served on a ciabatta bun. From the moment you step into this egg-obsessed wonderland, you're greeted by a vibe that's equal parts cozy coffee shop and whimsical art installation. Think clean whites, sunny yellows, and a sculptured egg sliding down a tiled wall like it's auditioning for a Pixar short. The neon lights spelling out "cheese" and "bacon" are practically winking at you, promising a good time. And oh, does Egg Break deliver. Let's talk about the star of the show: the breakfast sandwiches. These aren't your sad, drive-thru egg McMuffins. No, these are handcrafted masterpieces that could make a grown adult weep with joy. I opted for The Hoff ($12.50), because who can resist a sandwich that donates a buck to the Huntsman Cancer Institute while flaunting house-smoked pork belly? The stone-ground ciabatta bun cradles a gooey fried egg, melty American cheese, and a slab of pork belly so luscious it deserves its own fan club. The Bravas sauce--a smoky, tangy mayo-based concoction--cuts through the richness like a witty friend who knows just when to chime in. One bite, and I was ready to propose to the chef. My dining companion, a self-proclaimed biscuit evangelist, went for the Big Pig in a Honey Biscuit ($9.50). The house-made buttermilk biscuit, brushed with honey butter, is so fluffy it could double as a pillow in a pinch. Add a fennel-and-sage sausage patty and another perfectly fried egg, and you've got a sandwich that's basically a love letter to Southern comfort. The only critique? We wished for a side of sausage gravy to take it to heart-attack heaven, but that's like asking Michelangelo to add glitter to the Sistine Chapel. The menu doesn't stop at sandwiches. The Berries and Cream Brioche Toast ($7) is a lighter option that's less French toast and more "buttered brioche with a PhD in charm." It's a hit with kids and adults who want to pretend they're eating dessert for breakfast. Pair it with a glass of Lahaina orange juice from their expansive juice bar, and you're basically sipping sunshine. The atmosphere is as inviting as the food. The spacious patio and upstairs coffee shop nook (complete with egg-shaped pod chairs) make it a spot where you can linger with a laptop or gossip with friends. The staff? Attentive and genuinely happy to be there, which is rarer than a perfectly runny yolk. My only quibble--and it's a small one--is the occasional hiccup with the ordering system during peak hours, which can lead to a slightly longer wait. But when the food arrives, you'll forget you ever checked your watch. Egg Break isn't just a restaurant; it's a mood-lifter, a community hub, and a testament to the power of a well-made breakfast sando. At 193 W. 2100 S. Expy, it's accessible by TRAX, bike, or car, and open daily from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. (or 2 p.m. some days--check their site). Whether you're a local or just passing through, do yourself a favor and break some eggs here. Your taste buds will thank you, and your Instagram feed will, too. This breakfast sandwich blew my castanias off!

Okay, so I saw this cute little brekkie spot right off the Central Pointe Trax station, since I've been taking public transportation more often these past few months. I had my husband drop me off there one morning after a doctor's appointment and missed the previous train, so I ran over to try and grab a breakfast sandwich before heading up to work at HCI. I put in my order at the POS system near the entryway, and waited... I was a little anxious as the time until order was ready was 14 minutes (after the next train was supposed to arrive). They got it done much sooner, but I barely made the train (not their fault, of course). I scoped out the place while I waited. How cute of a place! Everything was decorated with an egg theme of course. I love the egg room in particular. I didn't sit down to eat obviously. Of course it wasn't as hot if I had sat down and dined in, but my breakfast sandwich was still yummy. I'll come back to dine in when I have a little more time.

    K S.

Okay breakfast sandwich spot, the appeal is how quickly the crew is able to get through that orders honestly, but that leaves quality control issues with the food. Also love the open space, the ambiance is quite lively and nice. On to the sandwiches, overall really decent, but nothing to write home about. I got the NYC Bodega BEC, but not a particular ingredient sticked out, ie the bacon wasn't particularly smoky or flavorful compared to other spots. And the gf got the Greens Eggs and Ham, the one thin slice of prosciutto was laughable for the price we paid, and the balsamic reduction can hardly be tasted. There's much better breakfast sandwiches to be had out there.

Price... 10/10 Service... 10/10 Food... 10/10 This is a fast and easy breakfast stop in Salt Lake City. Egg sandwiches are reasonably priced and will set you back $12-$16 depending on what you add with it. Digital kiosks make ordering fast and efficient. The food was FANTASTIC. The griddle was the perfect ratio of pancake to protein. The Bodega was perfect on the ciabatta bread. Adding a fried egg really seals the deal for the perfect combination of buttery and salty flavor. Update... we actually came twice in two days because it was so great!

I really wanted to really like this place, the space was big, two levels plus outside seating. Low tables, high tables, egg shaped chairs and footrests, cute and unique egg and breakfast decorations. Well maintained dining room, condiment bars, and bathrooms. Ordering kiosks when you first walk in. All that was great, but the food really fell flat. Not sure if we ordered the wrong things, it was a bad day, or what but our sandwiches although they looked tasty were extremely flavorless. I had a biscuit with fennel & sage sausage, egg. Both the sausage and egg had no flavor at all. It was really bland. The biscuit tasted like licking a spoonful of baking soda. Very zingy, hard, and dry. It was so hard to eat because the biscuit was tough. It was extremely messy too. I was disappointed because they always look busy and like they would be good. I still plan to give it a other try, and order something different to see if it's any better. My husband tried a pancake sandwich and he was not impressed with his either. I tried a bite and it seemed bland just like mine but with pancake instead of biscuit. They do have some good looking juices I will need to check out next time with a new sandwich variety.

This place is very popular! We came on a saturday morning and waited ~30 min for our food. I would place my order online before coming next time. Both sandwiches were really good, but I really liked the english muffin. The sandwich insides are really rich (egg yolk, sauce, etc) and having the toasted ciabatta which was kind of buttery/oily made it a bit too heavy for me. I think the english muffin does a good job of balancing things out.

Parking though, is pretty much ad bad as it gets. Meaning there is literally no parking lot at all. You just have to get lucky and find something on the street. As far as the food goes, my family and I were not disappointed. All the burgers we got were excellent, and each had something that made them very different from traditional burgers. One weird thing was that their fries have been different each time we have gone. The first time they were just your basic fries. The next time we went, I ordered the same meal and got more "wedge like" fries. Both were good, but the second kind were far better. All the employees have been very friendly each time we have come, and the restaurant has always been clean. Something to be careful of are the prices. The burgers themselves aren't too bad, at $10-15 each, but just getting fries and drinks quickly balloons the cost Only reason I give 4 stars is that sometimes the food takes waaaay longer that it seems it should. Last time I went, there was only one group ahead of us, and we waited like 20 mins for our food to finally be ready.

Ton of bacon and a ton of jalapeños in the burger. Was a nice potato bun that wasn't soggy. Shoestring fries were nice and crispy. The onion rings had a ton of flavor in it. Opted for the BBQ sauce over the fry sauce. Spot had a lot of history and nostalgia to it. I was there shortly after it opened so I got my food fairly quickly. One unique thing they had were different colored roses for people to take on the house if you're into that. Staff was very friendly as well. There's ton of parking too so that was nice to not have to drive around a neighborhood for parking.

My picky 12 year old was able to find multiple things he loved and the staff was friendly, patient, understanding, and helpful. We ordered cheese burgers with fries and a drink plus onion rings, a shake, and a hand scooped ice cream and it all cost us under $30! The burgers were juicy and delicious, the fries were perfectly done ( crispy but not hard or overdone with a delicious softer inside, not undercooked. Everything was served quickly, kindly, and deliciously. We didn't have a long wait at all! I loved the atmosphere as did my son! Their shakes are SO THICK you have to eat it with a spoon then try a straw later after it settles / melts a little and it was SO GOOD! Easily the best shake I've had in years! Lastly, their fry sauce. I've been to a lot of places that serve fry sauce all over the state and this was THE BEST fry sauce I've ever had! Not too tangy but not too light on flavor. I loved that they included it for free as well! 100/10 for food and experience! Would absolutely recommend!

Located on the…read moretop floor of the sprawling Harmon's marketplace, covered parking was free and convenient, especially for the bustling metro downtown area. Going in, I was impressed by the story being told, with burgers that seemed to be top quality, made with a combination of Snake River Farms and ground chuck. The fries were lightly fried once in beef tallow, and then fried again when you order them, similar to Belgian style. Everything sounded like they were super thoughtful so I was looking forward to greatness. What I ended up with was, well, "good". This is of course, a bit subjective I guess but while the burger was decent and had a nice bit of pink inside, (also, shout out for the bun they used which was absolutely perfect to be honest), it tasted a bit dense and preformed, so biting into it gave you a bit of a "quarter pounder" taste instead of being super juicy and loose consistency, if that makes sense? The fries were fresh and tasty but perhaps a bit more limp and oily than I would have preferred, as if the oil temp was a bit low? Still, I'm nitpicking because it was still really good but if you're reading between the lines of my review, I think I was expecting something exceptional that you would want to drive out of your way for given the obvious attention to quality that they strive for, and ultimately realized that Just Burgers was, ummm, Just Fine.

The topping bar is good in theory, but I had to wait for them to refill stuff so my burger wasn't quite as warm as I'd like when I ate it. But it was still yummy. Jeff the manager was very nice and accommodating
