This place is in our rotation for lunch during the week. We ask for Cesar every time we go in - he is incredible. They have a separate GF menu with a ton of options. My friend and I shared GF pancakes (which are the best btw) and shakshuka with GF toast. The spice was perfect! They did remove the impossible sausage as a side so I was sad to see that item go, but we love coming here and will continue to come back!

Promptly seated, service was extremely fast and well attended for. Food was delicious and their bacon was definitely a must have. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I was not seating inside but looked lively.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Every time I've tried to come here before I was scared off by the waitlist. I was sooo excited to finally stop in this morning & had really high hopes. I figured it must be so popular for good reasons. It wasn't awful by any means but it also wasn't too special. The avocado toast was a little bland and the fruit cup was tiny. I was really into the tiny skillet the eggs were served in tho that was cute

Spacious and comfortable seating, friendly service. However, the menu seemed really different from what I had at the Egg Harbor restaurant in Oak Brook. There, they had a long drink list including espresso drinks, and many of the brunch items had the option of having pancakes on the side. Here, no espresso drinks were on the menu - we were told they are about to install an espresso machine so maybe that will change soon. The menu seemed shorter than the Oak Brook location, and pancakes as part of the brunch entree was not an option. Most items came with a toasted English muffin and signature jam (the jam was actually delicious). The brunch selection was pretty standard; the maple bacon was fantastic but the brunch potatoes were bland and looked like they came frozen from a bag. What I did really like was that the kids meals were very reasonably priced - $7 gets two pancakes, a scrambled egg, one fat juicy sausage (or 2 strips of bacon) and a beverage.

Toast. Supposed to be avocado toast

Utterly disappointed. Love avocado toast because I like avocado... this toast had thinnest layer and no avocado flavor... for the price you pay I feel this was not worth it.. kind of feel nipped.. I did ask the waitress if this is really how they make the toast (with very thin almost non existent avocado) and she said yes. I showed her the dry edges. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Be menus also not clean as they had crusty food on edges.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Carnitas Skillet

Had brunch here. No wait and staff very accommodating with seating preference. Wait staff helpful with recommendations. Our order was delivered to our table very quickly. Strawberry Mimosa was a refreshing way to start our brunch. Not too sweet. So good!! I ordered the Carnitas Skillet. Meat and potatoes well seasoned and flavorful. Over medium eggs cooked to perfection. I also ordered the Swedish Pancakes. Texture palatable and the light dusting of powdered sugar with Lingonberry Butter and Lingonberries delicious!! My husband ordered Matt's Meaty Skillet and he asked to add Chorizo. He said the addition really elevated the taste with its spicy flavor. He also ordered the seasonal Pumpkin Pancakes, which he thoroughly enjoyed. Yes, I will go back and yes, definetly recommend eating here.

To be quick, I would not visit again. I had read the reviews and decided to give it a try but was very disappointed with the food. To start off, the potatoes tasted frozen and were undercooked leaving it a weird frozen taste. The fruit was okay, but they had a weird soapy taste. I tried the banana bread French toast and the flavor was fine, but it was burnt around the edges. I had ordered a burrito but the whole cilantro stem was in the burrito rather than the leaves. The service was great and the server was very nice. I also really enjoyed the decorations and ambiance, but the food did not match.

Service was fast, the waiter was great and even offered me a to go for my coffee after brunch. Food was delicious, probably one of the best salmon Benedict I've had in a long while.

I'm not a breakfast person most of the time but this day I was. It wasn't very crowded during this darn pandemic but we were seated and they seemed grateful for our presence. Our server was incredibly friendly and fast! The food was amazing and filling and I loved that bit of spice. Top that with eggs and cilantro with a dash of hot sauce!! I love how it was served in hot plates which only added to the quality of the food and experience. I'm definitely a fan and will be back for more selections that I wanted to try.

Today Memorial Day we had breakfast and a few weeks ago we had lunch and received notice we had…read morepoints to use the server and the manager when we went to use tham stated we had none. So today we asked the server if we had any points to use and indeed we did not sure what happened on our last visit. Wildberry is by far our place to go both in Libertyille and in the loop, the service is outstanding and the menu is great. We recommend Wildberry to friends and family. I would give them more stars if I could. Not sure what happened when the server would not allow us to use our point, we all make mistakes from time to time.

I kept it simple with two eggs over easy, hash browns, turkey sausage, and sourdough toast. It was a solid breakfast, cooked well, and I enjoyed it. My wife ordered her usual favorite, Eggs Benedict, along with a pistachio iced coffee. The coffee was outstanding and easily her favorite part of the meal, but unfortunately, the Eggs Benedict didn't quite live up to our expectations. In hindsight, we probably should have ordered what Wildberry is best known for--the pancakes or waffles. Seeing so many of them coming out of the kitchen made us think we may have missed out on the restaurant's true specialties. One thing that absolutely stood out was the service. Everyone we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and attentive, making for a very pleasant dining experience. While our breakfast was a little underwhelming overall, I'd definitely be willing to give Wildberry another try on our next trip to Chicago. Next time, we'll skip the traditional breakfast plates and go straight for the pancakes or waffles that made this place famous.

We've driven by this restaurant SO many times and have yet to come by until now. What a fun…read moreexperience we had! When you pull up to the plaza you would think anything of the restaurant but when you go inside it's a fun colorful experience. When we were seated we were brought waters and menus. We took some time to look at the menus but ultimately took our server's suggestions on drinks. I ended up having a virgin Rose Colored Glasses drink and absolutely loved it. The drinks were large and I felt they were worth the price. My husband got an old fashioned. To start we got the cheese curds, and when I tell you these cheese curds still live rent free in my mind I kid you not. They were so good, the cheese was battered in a tempura batter with a truffle cream sauce and it made for such an incredible dish! For our entrees we got the pork chop with the brown butter sauces and bavette with a red wine reduction. The pork chop was great with the brown butter you just gotta make sure you mix it up, and the red wine was a bit too salty for me but it was okay because I ended up loving the steak by itself! For our sides we got the grilled zucchini under the snacks option instead of the sides option because I wanted all the fixings. It was a great choice! The fixings really made and I could eat a plate of that and just be happy (with the cheese curds of course). The wiped potatoes were great as well. Now I was going to pass on dessert because I was SO full already, but twist my arm when you tell me the cookie dough ice cream is a must try. It had real cookie dough chunks on top and bottle and the vanilla ice cream was not boring vanilla, I ate almost half of that bowl and couldn't stop. The chocolate chip cookie dough was house made and it was the perfect blend of sweet and salty that tied the whole ice cream bowl together. Can't recommend that enough as well. All in all, we had a great experience! It was so fun to see so many regulars and so many new folks who came in to dine at the same time as us and we all peeked to see who ordered what before we ordered and got some great recs as you can see! Can't wait to come back to enjoy my favorites and more!

So the first time we were here it was amazing but this time it was subpar at best. Don't know if…read morethey have a new chef or what but the food was not good. Started with the bread and crabcakes and the bread was amazing and definitely fresh but the crabcakes needed more crab and flavor. Basically everything needed more flavor. We also ordered a bottle of wine which our server struggled with and never came over to refill the glasses. Then the entree's; my husband's bolognese was bland and desperately needed at least salt and pepper. Then the real problem was my steak which was supposed to be medium came out well done and then classically when it was recooked came out rare or medium rare if you are being generous. Then the waitress said she would check back and she didn't so I had to get salt myself from the server station which is kinda ridiculous especially when paying $54 for a steak that already has no seasoning which is why they offer free sauces which makes a lot of sense now. When she finally did come back I said it was under but not waiting for it to be overcooked again so reheating it at home with the cold side of mushrooms I ordered WITH my steak. I did talk to the manager after and he was not really helpful or sympathetic and I was really talking to him so in my review I could say well at least management cares but that is not the case here. I gave 2 stars because their drinks are good and the ambiance is nice and the hostess was super friendly and was the star employee after our visit. Also we paid for everything even the cold mushrooms and over/under cooked steak! At minimum also remake my mushrooms or comp them. Would I eat here again hopefully not but it is locationally desirable for me and my in-laws and have lots of GF options so might have to and if I do hopefully they will have made things better.

It is a noisy place full of older customers that know everyone in the place. Lots of customers hugging the staff, talking with the owners, and other tables. A great atmosphere if you are a local. One of the owners even suggested carrot cake for our desert. Really good by the way. We did see a number of regulars tables that were receiving complimentary appetizers. I get it, but you should treat first time customers the same to make them repeat customers? The issue was with service and how we were treated after we had to get service. Our server disappeared once our main course was ordered. Yes the place was packed, but the server made sure she kept on touching base with the regulars tables and we received less attention. Well like no attention. Well like we had to go to the bar to one of the owners to get our check. Well and when my significant other tried to comment that we had a lack in service the owner walked away from us. She turned a really nice first time experience into a never going back and write a bad review experience. (And my significant other was mad the whole evening, which made the event worse for me.) So even though I wanted to at least give them a 2 star review I had to tie it back to the tip we gave of $1. Regretfully we will not be going back to The Green Room.
