K-Town Wrap
Mike G.

I didn't realize it's been almost a year since I've been here Needless to say, the menu has changed drastically sadly since my last visit and to sound disappointed is an understatement I realize businesses need to make money to survive and I'm assuming that the business is not doing as well as maybe he had hope and I really be sorry to hear that I came to order my usual and it wasn't there I had a grilled chicken avocado bowl. It was good. The chicken was nowhere near the same flavor. It used to be, which was probably the number one thing going for it. I truly hope the business survives because they had a great product to begin with. Hopefully, they can bring back some of the old stuff because they were definitely a step above everyone else!

Food was pretty savory and delicious, but sadly pretty small portions. Unfortunately the trash cans when I visited was stuffed full, to the point where things were falling out every time I tried to put my trash in. Otherwise it is a good place to stop to get some unique fast food, but not something I would say is an immediate have to go.

Super ENB Burrito
Julie N.

Very clean restaurant I got the super enb burrito It was huge and stuffed w egg, cheese, and chicken Maybe because i ate it 20 minutes later - the chicken was soggy. It was tasty though comparable to chickfila breakfast burrito but bigger and tastier and its served all day long. Because it was stuffed - my burrito fell apart about half way through which made it messy to eat I bought a side of ranch and cilantro aioli - sauces were tiny for 95 cents and im sad sauces were not included w the burrito. Also its not housemade ranch but a generic brand which didnt taste that great. Also got a side of fries which were tasty but tiny for the price and it fell everywhere in my takeout bag because of the container.

Grilled Chicken & Avocado Bowl

First time trying Egg N Bird and I went with the Grilled Chicken and Avocado Bowl--so good! The chicken was juicy and perfectly seasoned, paired with creamy avocado and cilantro that made the whole bowl feel hearty but still healthy. The flavors worked really well together, and it was super satisfying without being too heavy. The place itself has a clean, casual vibe--perfect for a quick lunch spot that still feels fresh and high-quality. Service was fast and friendly, which made the whole experience even better. Definitely recommend this spot if you're looking for something tasty, balanced, and filling. I'll be back to try their sandwiches next time!

You can taste the quality of food here. Clean, and the Service is fast. Chicken is tender, flavorful, and not spongy like most sandwich places. Rice is done well, Slaw is crunchy and tangy The crack sauce pairs perfectly with whatever you order.

Chicken and Waffles !

Absolutely incredible place!! Their sauce that they use is ONE OF A Kind !! The chicken sandwich is insane and the breakfast bowl was great as well. I also REALLYYY ENJOYED their chicken and waffles. They executed this perfectly. It's very clean inside and everyone was friendly. Excellent customer service.

Always a great to come here for brekkie, lunch, and dinner. Everything on the menu is really good. I only know of this place coz of a yelp event. Now only if they can bring back the elote fries....hmmm?!? Lol.

Dessert? Yep, still solid. But everything else? Let's just say the shrimp tempura salad, beef tataki, tuna tartare, beef tongue stew, and mentai spaghetti formed a perfect little symphony of average. No 'wow,' no fireworks, just... food that exists. Servers were friendly, though! Probably because they had plenty of time to chat with the only two tables in the whole dang dining room. So yeah. Same same but different? Nah. Just same same.

We had a large breakfast party and our food did not come out all together, with was a bummer!…read moreFood was very good! Hot food was hot, as it should be. The salsas are delicious! Service was great! I am a cinnamon roll lover, and I loved their warm glazed cinnamon roll. It is large and took it home to eat over the next couple days. I think I'd rather have had the sourdough toast. It looked good.

We drove 40 minutes specifically because of an Instagram post by @laoc.eats featuring a prime rib…read morethat looked incredible. Upon arrival, we were informed that the prime rib was only available during Father's Day weekend. It would have been nice if that little detail had been mentioned in the post that inspired the trip. Since we were already there and starving, we decided to stay. Mistake #1. The medium rare top sirloin arrived looking like it had lost a fight with a blowtorch. It was so overcooked and rubbery that we couldn't finish it. We brought the leftovers home thinking at least our dog would enjoy it. She sniffed it and walked away. For anyone who has ever owned a dog, you understand how impressive that is. The meatloaf somehow managed to transport me back to my hospital room after my appendectomy. If you've ever wondered what institutional cafeteria food tastes like with a side of disappointment, order the meatloaf. The coleslaw appeared to be made from aging cabbage with visible brown and pink bruising throughout. To save myself a trip to urgent care, I passed on trying it. The mashed potatoes were the only thing that showed signs of life, but the gravy was so salty it could probably preserve a mummy and contained the dried skin that forms when gravy sits out too long. Even the lemon slices in our water glasses were slimy. The atmosphere felt less like a destination restaurant and more like the dining room of an assisted living facility. The average age of the patrons appeared to be somewhere around 78, which honestly started making sense once the food arrived. The hostess was very nice and our waitress was pleasant, but she seemed just as confused as we were about what was actually available on the menu. We left hungry, annoyed, and wondering how many other people had made the same pilgrimage after seeing that Instagram post. At this point, I have to question whether @laoc.eats actually eats at the places being promoted or just photographs them. This was our second disappointing restaurant recommendation from that account, and it may be the last time we use it as a dining guide. Forty minutes there. Forty minutes back. One edible side dish. I should have just stayed home and made a sandwich.

The Potholder Café - Los Alamitos, CA February 7, 2026…read more 3.5 Stopped by The Potholder Café in Los Alamitos this morning and had a solid breakfast/lunch experience. The service really stood out -- very friendly, attentive, and welcoming from start to finish. I ordered the BLT ($13.95), and it was definitely the highlight of the meal. The bacon was fresh and nicely cooked, and the thick tomato slices made a big difference. Simple, well-executed, and satisfying. Other items at the table included Oatmeal Works ($11.95) and The Couch ($19.95), which looked generous and hearty. Prices are what you'd expect for a local sit-down breakfast spot, with a total bill coming in just over $50 for three people. Overall, this was a pleasant visit with good food and excellent service. Not mind-blowing, but very solid -- and based on the friendliness alone, I would return and try more items next time.

I should have updated my review sooner!…read more We have been consistently coming here for the past few years and it has become our go-to spot for breakfast. Some of our favorites: The Salinas omelette - artichokes, mushroom, tomato, jack and cheddar cheese. Our choice sides: beans and corn tortillas. Portions are big and perfect to share. Healthy turkey sandwich - loaded with red onions, lettuce, tomato, and avocado. Love this on sour dough bread. Belgian waffle - topped with berries and bananas and tons of butter. Always perfect with a cup of joe, which is pretty strong in comparison to other diners. Love. The menu is pretty extensive and for sure there something for anyone. Also check out the weekday specials. Service is super friendly. And depending on time of day, you will get your meal timely. Weekday mornings are less crowded lately especially now that summer is over. Music streams the diner and really takes you back to the 80's. So enjoy, all you Gen X!
