Knocked me off my feet. I could just end it here because seriously I was speechless. The service was AMAZINGGG. This was our first restaurant visit as a newlywed and we felt so celebrated and showered with love. We ordered the premade mimosa which was a bottle of champagne with a small carafe of orange juice. We also got the sriracha candied bacon which are not pictured because we inhaled them. I never knew I liked sriracha until this bacon! It was so delicious. We ordered the crab avocado toast to share, I ordered the stuffed poblano pepper and he ordered the chorizo breakfast burrito. I'm still dreaming about that avocado toast. I have never had anything like it. The bread was soooo fresh and soft and the avocado was gently spread so perfectly and the crab . My stuffed poblano pepper was so flavorful and satisfying. I wanted to save it for later but couldn't bring myself to stop eating it. We almost went back to this place every morning for breakfast but decided to try new things. It is definitely on our list of places to visit again on our next trip! read more

Parking was quite tricky if there isn't any available spaces in front. But we were glad we finally found a spot and made our way in. We ordered the Eastern Shore Benedict (jumbo lump crab), a Bloody Mary, and a breakfast sandwich. The bloody Mary was pretty good except the tomato on the garnish stick was rotten inside when I took a bite out of it and spit it out. We came for brunch on a Sunday. I ordered the peanut butter French toast. The bread was a little burnt but I worked around it. My boyfriend's breakfast burrito had over cooked eggs that were rubbery. Naturally he sent the burrito back and we were told by the bartender who I guess is a manager as well that they took 25% off. It was 25% off the burrito. When I asked the server why they did that as I've never seen a restaurant give a discount. They normally just take it off the bill since it's the kitchen that messed up. The server was honest and said that she didn't know and get the bartender to come back over. The bartender was very rude to us and was defending the mistake. She said that she would take it off the bill only because she doesn't want to fight. She told us not to order the breakfast burrito again. However, it did seem like our food took a while to come out. I ordered the Eastern shore eggs Benedict and personally liked my meal. But it definitely seems like the food is really hit-or-miss here! Another person from my group ordered the shrimp and grits, and it was too salty. And I tried a piece of the frittata that my bf ordered, and it tasted slightly burnt. Had to go to the hostess to ask what was going on. It was now 1 and they wouldn't seat us. She couldn't be bothered to tell us in person; just sent a generic text. This place is very cute! I came here for brunch with two girl friends on a Sunday morning, and we were all pleased. Parking is a little difficult to find, but they do have a small lot next to the establishment. There also is some metered parking right in front of the restaurant. Our wait around 12PM was about 15 minutes. I ordered the (single) Lobster Benedict, as recommended by our waiter and it didn't disappoint! I decided to forgo the home fries and got fruit instead, and the fruit tasted fresh. The Benedict was tasty and the egg was perfect. It's not a whole lot of food, but it was enough to fill me up. If you're hungry, definitely get the double! One of my friends got the crab aco toast and it came with so much crab! It was so worth it. Came here for brunch around 10am on a Saturday. Place was packed and they told us it would be a 45 min wait :/ so I put our names down and hoped for the best. After 30 mins I checked in and said we would sit wherever so they sat us outside on the patio like area. The wait staff was very prompt and got our orders in. I got the pomegranate mimosa (suggested from a friend) and it was very delightful. We got an order of the srirachi bacon. Amazing! For brunch plates, I got one lobster Benedict (appreciate that you can just get one since two is always too much for me) which came with a side of potatoes. Yum lots of good sweet lobster meat. Potatoes were also really good. My friend got the mini crouque madams which had little quail egg looking things on them. Delicious as well. My friend's husband got the two eggs and he also loved his meal. Over all we were pleased with the food and service. The brunchy cocktails are all hand-squeezed at the bar with fresh fruit garnishes. Dined here with two girlfriends over the weekend and was extremely impressed with the kind service and delicious food. We got a few different items from the menu to try and enjoyed a little family-style shared brunch together. We had the bacon candy, the mini croque madame, a biscuit with gravy, the lemon curd crepes, and the mcquay. Every single thing we had was just spectacular. Damn near perfection. This was just the most awesome place to eat. Considering the fiasco we encountered the evening before and spent a huge amount anticipating great seafood. Our party of 6 was sorely disappointed. Having brunch here the next morning made a world of difference and we ended our beach getaway on a good note. There wasn't too long of a line, we waited for about 20 minutes. They gave us the option to sit indoors or outside. And I tell you this was the perfect outdoor ambiance for a warm sunny Sunday morning. Everything was great, the food, service, and setting. We only ordered the three piece and I'm happy that we did because the bacon was thick cut. Three pieces were plenty for the two of us. It had a sweet and spicy taste. I recommend giving it a try. This spot is very popular but the turnaround is pretty quick. We had a party of 4 and waited only 25 minutes. There were about 6 or 7 parties ahead of us. So Rehobeth Beach is definitely a place where people just go out to eat because they don't want to cook. I'm fine with that. Visiting the in-laws for Fathers' Day and we headed to Egg for brunch. The wait was 45 minutes for a party of 6 (with 2 toddlers), down from the quoted wait of an hour and fifteen minutes, so no complaints there. That's about what you expect for a Sunday Brunch, especially on Father's Day. We got a lovely table in the window with a high chair on the end and window seat for our 5 year old. The menu is very coastal...lol. None of us eat pork or shellfish, so we picked this restaurant because they offer turkey meat products and gluten free for my toddler, who is also allergic to nuts, dairy, oats, barley, you get the drift... I called in advance to ask about the gluten-free toast and was assured it did not also contain egg whites... I'm pretty sure this was not the case. We are sat, our waitress comes promptly with the necessary coffee, we order the kids' food first. The baby loves his gluten free toast. My 5 year old almost licked the plate of his peanut butter french toast WITH syrup lol. Here's the thing: to order 2 pieces of gluten free toast and 2 turkey sausages, it was $7. The kid's french toast was already $9.00 and they upcharged us $2.00 for ONE PIECE of turkey sausage. One piece. No, really! Honestly, none of us are big meat eaters and an egg would have been an easy substitution. This really should be disclosed! The portions weren't big enough to justify the prices. My 5 year old was trying to eat off everyone's plate after he finished his! I know this is an area where a lot of people don't even look at the check-- and tbh, I didn't until I got my square receipt via email and the bill wasn't out of alignment with what we intended to spend but, considering we all drank water, except me because I need all the coffee, I probably should have looked at it more closely. We are not spendthrifts, but that's REALLY RIDIC. They should have a kid's menu with allergy friendly suggestions that isn't $12. OUCH. Otherwise, the frittata and lemon curd crepes that my mother and law and I shared were FANTASTIC. My FIL and husband ordered the 2 eggs your way with potatoes and toast...boring, but okay. Somehow, they put bacon on my husband's plate. As long as we'd been waiting, he didn't want to send the entire plate back, but he refused to touch the eggs and bread on that side of the plate (should have sent it back) and was hungry an hour later. Their food looked fine. We weren't interested because ours was delicious. All-in-all, Egg is a really good option for brunch. Come early (we arrived about 9:45am) and be prepared to wait with snacks and cups for the kiddos, but it's kid and dog friendly, located right across from the Rehobeth Beach visitor's center and museum and a short walk to a quaint organic coffee place (which was our first stop lol) that also has a few pastries, but it's definitely worth trying especially if you're a shellfish and/or pork person (the lobster benedict looked SO GOOD!).
