Yes yes yes! The food. Some of the best (if not the best) pad thai in the area! I do enjoy mine a little extra saucy, and this definitely is! They serve it up with all the fixings, too. Also tried the egg rolls and crab rangoons. What's not to love about the fried goodness? But seriously, they are called "Egg Roll Plus Food Truck" for a reason. Their egg rolls are so good. And there is something yummy and unique about their crab rangoons. The inside in a touch sweet. They do have some yummy looking tacos that I will definitely be trying next time. I don't know why this place isn't busier when I go in to get food. I go here at least once a week. My go to is the Thai rice bowl or Thai tacos. I'm also a fan of the chicken wings. I've driven past this place many times & finally stopped in for some boba tea. Cute restaurant on the corner of Walnut & Broadway. There's indoor seating at tables or at the full bar. The staff is extremely friendly & very polite. I ordered the watermelon boba tea with boba pearls. I was expecting it to be more of a clear liquid, but it's blended like a milkshake. I found it to be very delicious!! Looking at the menu, I'll definitely come back. The prices are very reasonable, and I think it's definitely worth returning to! read more

I'd give this place a 3.5/5. This food truck is located in Austin's Grocery parking lot on Sundays. I'm not sure of their hours but they do post on their Facebook website. We ordered our food which was 3 entrees (1 pad Thai and 2 Asian sausage with fried rice) and 3 sides (Banh mi, spring roll and egg rolls). They said it would be about 10-15 minutes so I popped into the grocery store and grabbed some things while we waited. It definitely took a lot longer than 10-15 minutes so if you're in a hurry, I wouldn't advise coming here. The place seemed busy at the time even though the Packer game was going on and I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt since we did order a lot of food. Unsure if you're able to call ahead of time to place an order. We got ours maybe around 20-25 minutes after ordering. Okay so down to the food - which I can't all attest to since this was a group order. I thought the egg rolls were on the blander side and needed more flavor (this is in comparison to family homemade ones... so take this for what it's worth). I also had the Asian sausage with fried rice. these Asian sausage are the ginger ones you can find at your Asian grocery store. I was hoping they were the spicy ones but it wasn't - I'm not downgrading the place on this, just not what I wanted in the moment. The fried rice was nothing special...really bland. Could've just made this at home. I did like the sauce that came with - it has a kick but spicy is determined by whoever's eating it... so again, take this FWIW. Lastly, I had the Banh mi. In comparison to a traditional Banh mi, it is lacking the pickled daikon and liver pate. Highlights of the Banh mi are the bread and stack of pickled carrots. For $5 this definitely subsides my cravings. Ive had better meat but the pork does deliver on the lemongrass taste we're looking for here. I know they had a jalapeño in there but I think the seeds were scraped off so if you're not into spicy, just remove this but it definitely wasn't spicy this time around. I can't remember if there was cilantro in here which also typically comes in a traditional one. From the pad Thai consumer...the person who ate it said it was freshly made but was bland. The spring rolls were supposedly good. So why a 3.5? Well the amount of food for ~$35 was a lot, but I think they could fix some things in the taste. read more

They have alot of work to do but they have the potential and the will to do it. Starting off they don't have a front sign so they can get missed. They do not serve alcoholic beverages at this time. I had the Curry Chicken. I think its my favorite dish. I have had it spicier and kinda like it a little more spicier. If i had to say anything to the owner maybe ask how spicy people like it. I almost want to keep this place a secret it is such a gem. But since a few businesses have been in and out of the place I really want to see this place make it. The food is such high quality and such a reasonable price. I had two egg rolls and fried rice for only $6 and that includes tax. Then a Korean Taco that was spicy and salty good. I will be dreamy of that taco which was only $3. The only problem I could see would be getting too busy for one person to both make drinks and serve food. Really yummy food! I've never ordered from their actual food truck, but their dining location is within walking distance from my house. I've never been disappointed with my food from here. Some interesting innovations on Asian classics like Asian style tacos and teriyaki fries. Also one of the few places in town with banh mi (a tasty Vietnamese sandwich.) On my first visit, I waited over an hour for a few Eggrolls and the previously mentioned fries. Seemed an abnormally long wait for a restaurant that used to be a food truck and there was only one other person who came in while I was waiting to pick up a call in order. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and tried again with similar results. The food is pretty good, but waiting that long on deep fried food seems a bit absurd. This maybe my new favorite food place. Egg rolls are awesome, but my favorite are the tacos. The Korean taco is amazing, I would rate it better than any taco I have ever had. If you are going to pay $4 for a chick fila, or a Popeyes sandwich. You should try this place out. Interior is not appealing, but the services is friendly and prompt and the food is absolutely great. I have been there 5 x in the last 3 weeks. I think if they would open in a better location and nicer restaurant, that this would be a huge hit with people. If you have not tried please do you will be very happy, I have only had only the tacos Thai, Korean and the egg rolls but I will keep going back.
