Great vegetarian options - some of the best in Houston. The seitan General Tso's "chicken" is fantastic! They are a mom & pop, (mom works the kitchen, dad mans the register & phone & grandma waitresses) hole in the wall, buried in a strip mall little place, but the food is consistent & really, really great! I can't speak for all of the negative reviews regarding the meat dishes; I don't eat meat so I've never had them, but the vegetarian dishes are great. Ordered take out on a weeknight. On-line ordering worked okay and order was delivered as requested. The delivery man was very nice and polite. The meal arrived about when they said it would, 45 minutes after order. The food was a huge disappointment. The WonTon and Hot and Sour soup were not good. The latter was hot but instead of sour it tasted like chicken broth. Egg rolls tasted like every other average egg roll I have ever had. The entrees were very poor. Asked for the chicken to be extra crispy and it was that! Very hot and fresh. Super crispy. My egg drop soup looked light in color but the taste and flavor did not lack. I'm really picky when it come to Chinese food, it's hard to find a place that has good rice, sweet and sour, egg rolls, soups, and meat dishes. But this place is actually pretty good. I've tried the Orange Beef, Sweet and Sour Pork, Fried Rice, Egg rolls, Crab puffs and wonton/egg roll soup. Sweet and sour sauce is a nice dark red, they don't over bread the pork/chicken, so good choice here. Orange beef has a good sauce with orange peels, egg rolls are decent. Fried rice might be some of the best in the area. Very flavorful and cooked well. I use Uber eats and haven't had any delivery issues. read more

They're these cheese puffs and man are they finger licking good! I used to always make my plate a meal and add a side of rangoons and soup (wonton soup. Which is delicious as well). Anyways, now I've cut back because duh too much Chinese food has not helped ya girl out with her workout achievements. Regardless, just ordering a plate is enough because their servings are big and their food is freshly done. One word DISGUSTING! I'm done exploring new Chinese restaurants in this area. I've found two that I love and I'm sticking to them. So the original place I visit frequent is closed on Tuesday's to my surprise. My daughter showed me a flyer this place left on our door so I thought we should give them a try. Upon entering no one was there and it was lunch hours but I see why now . I ordered my food which was supposed to be tso shrimp and BBQ pork ribs . The wait was literally 36 min untill our food came out. I open my bag to see a bunch of lies. YES, a bunch of LIES. First the BBQ pork ribs were some kind of flat meat with sweet n sour sauce on them that had a very weird taste. I immediately trashed it. The tso shrimp was more like flour battered shrimp in sweet water orange sauce . The batter was so thick around the tiny shrimp I thought it was a joke . I don't know what kind of concoction they have going back there in the kitchen but I will never go back there again. This place is pretty good. Their egg drop soup is delicious, not bland like I've had at other places. Their fried rice orders (not the one that comes with the combos) have lots of meats and veggies. A genuine hole in the wall, this place doesn't have the glitz or glamour of the huge Chinese restaurants opening all over Houston, but it is a decent place for lunch. The occupancy limit cant be more then 20 in this tiny place as I saw lots of people get take out for that very reason. I ordered chicken fried rice with wonton soup. Large portion of rice but very bland. Wonton was almost flavorless. My fortune cookie didn't have a fortune and was stale, as was co-worker #2's. (Hers had a fortune, however.) Co-worker ordered four Cheese Puffs. She said they were hard and almost inedible. Co-worker #2 ordered Orange Chicken. The delivery guy didn't have enough change on him, forcing me to give him a ridiculous tip. That in itself would stop me from ordering again. The Mongolian beef and General Tso's chicken were both pretty bland yet overly sweet, the fried rice was tasteless and mushy, the hot n' sour soup was fine. I came here for dinner to try some local Chinese food, because other places I've tried are a total fail, and don't have any fresh food whatsoever. This, on the other hand, was a refreshing stand up from all those other mediocre Chinese restaurants. It isn't very big, but there's always room to stop in for lunch or dinner, and to have a decent meal. You can order soup, or another appetizer before you move on to your main course. I usually get the egg drop soup, which has good flavor and eggs to make it taste really good. You can get some chips with your soup, which is always delicious. I really like the soup choices on the menu because I can get a different one every time I step inside this place. There's also luncheon specials on the menu that are available from 11 AM to 4 PM every day. I tried that one day when I went for lunch, but this time I had the Kung Pao chicken for dinner. It is a spicy dish with a kick to it, but it had good flavor, and the peanuts, vegetables, and sauce added good taste to the dish itself. I also had white rice with it, but I wish I would have gotten the brown rice because the white rice doesn't really have flavor unless you mix the dish in with it. I must say the service is always checking on your table and making sure you have enough beverage to drink. This beats all the other poor Chinese places by a whole lot, because I believe the food made here is fresh, and it actually tastes good. Other buffets and places don't have good food, and I don't think some of them use fresh food. This will be my go to place for take out or dine in if I feel like having Chinese food. read more
