I waited around 30 minutes for my sandwich today. However, if you have the time to spare, I think it's worth trying at least once! I was surprised at how good/flavorful the sandwich was. It was cute on the inside--lots of bright colors. I've seen these egg sandwiches all over Instagram but didn't know if they would live up to the hype. The ordering process is via kiosk which makes it efficient as they seem understaffed. I chose an original sweet egg with added cheese and some tater tots with aioli sauce for the table. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time but heads up to allot time if it's crowded! The sandwich was great! I love how the brioche bread was thick, toasty, and buttery. The eggs also had a nice fluffy texture. However, it was a bit messy and soggy and could have had some more flavor. Contrary to the name, the sandwich wasn't that sweet, only a slight sweetness from the brioche bread. I feel it would have been very bland without the cheese. I don't have photos because we devoured everything. Everything we got was delicious. The bread is soft, the eggs are creamy, and it was a nice size for a breakfast sandwich. We got the avocado and the bacon one and both were good. Love the sauces they put on there. We got the loaded tater tots to go with it and that was delicious. Next time we're asking for extra sauce on everything. We also got a lemonade and an ice coffee and all was delicious. I have no complaints. We got lucky on a parking spot, but there is no parking really, but street parking, so if you are just picking up, I suggest ordering ahead and double parking and picking up. That's what I saw a few people doing. The front of the place should definitely be a loading zone/pick up spot. read more

My daughter took me here a few months ago and I have been back 6 or 7 times. Probably one of the best egg recipes I have tasted. Not sure what the Koreans are doing but they have discovered egg nirvana in my mind. Best for carry out as it's a small store with limited seating. I love the Egg Tuck on Michigan Ave! It's become my new go-to place for a quick and economical breakfast on the weekends. Unfortunately when I came to this Lincoln Park location about 2 weeks ago, I found that this location needs a lot of help and the food execution is not up to par. The toast was burnt, there was not enough aioli, less egg than Michigan Ave, and more bland. I can't exactly put my finger on it, but it just was not as good as it should be. Also, many of the tabletops were dirty and had food scraps/smears and trash on the floors underneath the tables. There were also a bunch of boxes stacked up along the walls, which might be understandable as they haven't been open long and are probably still getting situated. The restaurant was nearly empty so I don't understand why so many of the tables were surrounded by trash on the floors. I write this review not to bash the business but in hopes that the owners will look into this and make necessary adjustments. A lot of great restaurants in this area have closed over the years and I would hate to see Egg Tuck meet the same fate, as I really love their Michigan Ave location. read more

Pretty good egg breakfast sandwich, was just making a pit stop the service was incredibly fast but I think the white walls at an egg place kinda gives that feeling of being inside the egg itself. Ordered the ham and cheese and while I like ham and or cheese when a ham cheese sandwich comes together if the ham is too tough you'll just rip it out of the sandwich , which all in all when a sandwich is complete that's the best part, and that happened to my ham which got all over my shirt.
