Ever been on the precipice of HANGRY? Almost had an internal meltdown because you haven't eaten until now? Well, read on.... Saturday morning at 10:19 am, we checked in at the front and had a 5-10 minute wait. The entire restaurant was packed outside and inside and people were still sitting in the waiting area waiting to be seated. But at 10:28 am our table was ready and we were seated promptly by Tammy who also gave us our menus. Coco was our waitress and took our order of a deli sandwich and a veggie skillet and drinks (none of which came with their delicious banana muffins - keep this in mind for later). Our drinks arrived quickly, but for whatever reason my veggie skillet hadn't yet been made. We were seated close to the cooking line, so out of the corner of my eye, I could see our deli sandwich in the window---waiting, all alone like a stood up Tinder date. It looked so sad. I was sad; and then my stomach started rumbling. We waited probably about 25-30 minutes for our food--while the poor Tinder date stood alone. I could see Coco getting frustrated as well with the timing and she pulled aside manger, Lacey, to hopefully find the Tinder date's match. Coco, sensing my handiness brought us over some banana muffins and apologized for the wait. I knew it wasn't her fault and told her so. The line staff was overwhelmed and things happen. Let me tell you that was the best banana muffin in the world at that point (they're always delicious though). About a minute later, Lacey brought my son's sandwich and apologized for the wait and told us the skillet would be out shortly. It came out within the next few minutes. It was absolutely delicious. All the skillets have their seasoned potatoes on the bottom which gives it a nice texture from the eggs and additional softer ingredients on top. Our deli sandwich was piled high with ham and roasted turkey, and lettuce with their seasoned French fries. I failed to take pictures of this Tinder match up of food due to my hangriness, and devoured what I could. They have a great mix of breakfast and non breakfast options while still making it feel like brunch. Lacey ended up comping the skillet due to the issue which was appreciated. Coco stood strong in the face of time, food and someone who hadn't eaten all day and was amazing! She was professional, kind, and I even caught her singing to the rest of the staff at the line in an attempt to get the vibe up. 3 cheers for Coco!! I will always recommend Egg Works for their laid back vibe, comfort foods and brunch options. It really is a great place to eat. Oh, and they also allow dogs on their outside patio, FYI. read more

I've tried giving Egg Works multiple chances because it's conveniently located near my home, but unfortunately, I can't seem to get one good meal there. Today's experience was the final straw. I ordered a BLT and specifically requested that the bacon not be overcooked. After waiting approximately 30 minutes for a simple sandwich, it arrived with bacon that was completely burnt. The sandwich was dry, disappointing, and honestly difficult to eat. What makes this even more frustrating is that this isn't an isolated experience. I've been here several times hoping things would improve, but every visit seems to end with poor food quality, long waits, or both. At some point, convenience is no longer worth the disappointment. There are too many restaurants in Las Vegas that actually care about the quality of the food they serve and the experience they provide their customers. Sadly, this was my last visit. This is my second time dining here. It does get crowded on a holiday weekend. The food is amazing! The amount of food in each order is massive, you will have delicious leftovers to take home to enjoy later. The decor in this restaurant is so fun, there's a train that circles about the upper perimeter of the ceiling. There are lively farm murals to look at, and the restroom is clean. The staff are all friendly and helpful, and most importantly knowledgeable about each menu item. I will happily dine here again. read more

She was very attentive and friendly. Food portion is big so recommend sharing if you're not a big eater. Ordered Cincinnati chilli and it's legit. Veggie crepe was really good and (big). The Hablo Diablo potatoes (lightly seasoned) were cooked perfectly (with slight crisp) and the banana but muffin was a hidden surprise. The food here is always good. We got here about 11am and it was crowded but we did not have a long wait. Once seated it took our server Anisha a little bit to get to us but it's because she had a lot of tables inside and on the dog patio. She got us drinks right away when she got to us, she took our order and she did check up on us pretty often. Anisha was hustling but in my opinion she did an amazing job and tried hard to not miss a beat. The works had all meat and is a good omelet. It's filling in itself but you add potato's and toast, you will leave here happy. While I have come here for years, the reason on some days I wouldn't go is because I knew I would get way too full from their portions. Now - I don't have to feel this way. They have a value menu and can make other menu items value size which is more of a regular portion. I love this addition. Brad's Scramble has your eggs and veggies and it's one of my go-tos. Okay I actually really like this place! It's so cute and quirky, but still comforting and cozy. All of the staff were so warm & welcoming! Everything we ordered was delicious, came in on a Friday morning around 930. Wasn't too busy but I hear weekends get pretty packed. By the time we finished eating there was a little line built up. I had the corned beef hash. The serving size was great, the sourdough was toasted to perfection. Eggs just the way I asked for it! Love the seasoning on the potatoes, it wasn't too salty just the right balance. The only thing that is totally just my preference is that I wish the corned beef had more crisp for texture. But the flavors were really nice. Not too much potato filler. My sister had the strawberry cream cheese french toast. She nearly finished her whole plate, my husband had an omelette off the value menu. The omelette was fluffy and really stuffed! In terms of aesthetics, Egg Works gives diner vibes. I loved that they have a model train that runs throughout the restaurant. Be prepared to be overwhelmed with the menu because it's massive. I was also slightly confused with the mix of American, Mexican, and Hawaiian cuisine on the menu. For my meal, I ordered The Works Skillet with a banana nut muffin. The muffin was okay. It lacked a bit of flavor and was slightly over baked. The skillet was good, but very salty. The scrambled eggs were also gritty. While the portion size was big, it definitely wasn't worth $19. I was also not a fan of the 3% charge if you pay with card. It's 2025, no one carries cash anymore. Our waitress was very friendly. Kate greeted us a soon as we sat down and took our drink order. When she dropped off our drinks she began taking our food order. I warned her up front I'm a pain. I'm a no oil, no cheese, sub egg whites, dry toast blah blah blah kinda girl. She said thanks for the warning and then took my obnoxious order like a champ! She bobbed and weaved through my endless requests and even offered money saving suggestions to my order. UMMM heck yeah! TY KATE! Our food as per usual was spot on. My husband's BN Muffin didn't come out with the food and she boxed up another one on the house to go to make up for it even though the other one arrived shortly after. I love when we come here when we're finally able to get a table. It's always really busy so plan ahead. I am pretty much known to get the exact same thing every single time which is the local moco which is hamburger steak rice and eggs Hawaiian special honestly, it's just like the best thing ever and it's so easy this time we went for my birthday breakfast and we ended up getting mimosas and it was such a good deal to do the bottle for 24 with three juices instead of paying per mimosa which was eight bucks. I know this place always gets a number of poor reviews, but it's always been a neighborhood favorite. I love that they give you an entire pitcher of coffee, even when dining alone. Nothing irritates me more than to be eating breakfast & I keep running out of coffee even though you're charged $4 at most places. I also love that they have the egg signs on the table which immediately gets attention from any employee so you're not stuck waiting if your server is busy. I stopped by on a Tuesday morning after dropping the kids off at school. I was dining alone. I was seated immediately. My server approached me as soon as I was seated. She got my coffee & fresh half & half quickly. I ordered my meal & it came out fairly quickly. She stopped by a number of times, including dropping off my receipt soon after my food so I had the option to leave quickly if I wanted to. The ambiance was very loud. I sat at the bar/kitchen area, and you couldn't flag a server unless yelled. It was clean. It was very crowded. The service was just OK, mostly because, again, you could barely flag a server. The food: My poached eggs were perfect! The sourdough toast tasted stale. The bacon was ok. The potatoes, well I'm sure some people love them I could even taste the potato at all... just seasoning was all I could taste. Also, 3/4 of my plate was potatoes? But one of the BIG REASONS for only 3 stars is because I won't return to places charging me to use my credit card... hence I won't be back. Three of us stopped here for brunch after a hike at Floyd Lamb Park. This is part of the chain of Egg Works restaurants in the area. The restaurant was very busy on Saturday morning but we did not have to wait for a table. We were also given the choice of eating inside or out. We chose inside. Their menu is quite extensive. I decided to have breakfast whille my companions had lunch. I ordered the Mexican Omelette and my friends both got the Carlsbad Club. Portions are large. The omelette was a 4 egg omelette with seasoned potatoes and rye toast. The omelette had chorizo, green chilies, onions, tomatoes, and jalapeños toppped with a Habla Diablo salsa. The sandwiches were sliced turkey, avocado, bacon, American cheese, sliced tomatoes, and lettuce on your choice of bread. Both chose onion rings instead of fries. Our server was Sheila and she was excellent. Bringing us our drinks was quick and she stopped by during the meal to ask about drink refills. The Therese of us all relished our food. The Carlsbad was so large, one of my friends took half in a box to go. I had stropped by thhis Egg Works the last time I was at Floyd Lamb but I went elsewhere as there was a waiting list.
