Lighter side big bad wolf omelet with crispy hash browns

When you walk in the space is a bit small but comfortable with lots of cool stuff to look at. When our server brought our menus she also brought a lighter side menu. This menu included 2 items we were looking at in a smaller portion at a lower price. Perfect for us older folks. The food was very good and usually is consistent in quality. Nice place for breakfast or lunch. I guess I have not reviewed this spot until now, sorry. We do stop in occasionally as it is close by. One thing to note is with it being a smaller spot this place can, and does get quite full.

The inside is very big and opened. There's a lot of tables outside too if you want to eat outdoors. I got the banana walnut pancake and it was ok nothing special. The pancake it self was not too fluffy it was a bit on the heavier side. The cracked croissant was nice. Nothing too crazy. I would say it is a bit expensive here. $5 for a small cup of apple juice took me by surprise. The coffee cake wasn't too bad it was fluffy warm and soft. Kinda tasted like lemon ? Maybe it's me. The people were nice but just overall it's ok.

The server was so quick to take our order and attentive thereafter. The food was a major hit! We ordered the steak skillet over potatoes and not one piece was left behind. So delicious! I will be returning specifically for that skillet! Thank you for the calm atmosphere with delicious food!

Go to breakfast place. The eggs Benedict is my favorite and the hit chocolate is bomb. Great customer service. Not a fancy place but cozy and the food is really good.

"The best breakfast in Las Vegas "...I couldn't agree more with the locals. Their menu features a plethora of egg dishes with unique twists using fresh ingredients & creative combinations. The friendly service, generous portions & comfortable setting makes this inviting restaurant a must-visit for breakfast & brunch lovers. My favorite morning treat was the jiggly homemade Blueberry Coffee Cake-a moist and tender soft butter-kissed cake bursting with fresh juicy blueberries and drizzled with vanilla glaze. Thanks for brekkie Renee N. Let's get crackin'.

The cracked egg is one of our go to breakfast or brunch restaurant. Food is always great good portions and a lot of choices on the menu from breakfast skillets to omelettes two eggs scrambled with ingredients in it and the classics, pancakes, waffles, etc. coffee tastes good and fresh too. Service is very attentive knowledgeable of the menu that we get the order in a decent amount of time. Ambience is good. They have a side of the restaurants which has the windows. It's sunny and they have an inside part where it's darker which is the bigger room of the restaurant they also have a few tables outside. Highly recommend this place and they're usually not crazy crowded like other ones.

Located on the north side of Cheyenne just past Buffalo in a very crowded strip mall, this is the smallest location we've visited, but they do have a lot of outdoor seating. We walked in and we were seated right away; the waitress was very sweet. We ordered the Big Bad Wolf, 2 smart omelettes and they all came with coffee cake! The food was pretty tasty and aside from the cramped feeling of where they sat us, it was a nice visit. I wouldn't mind trying again, but maybe not on a Sunday.

Supposed eggs Benedict for $19 it tasted like reheated potatoes /dehydrated hash brown potatoes, it wasn't even Canadian bacon

Service was bland and couldn't be more less interested in catering to patrons. I've tried this place before with a family of 6 and it was bad before due to lack of food quality , price and service. But today the wife and I shared a $20 eggs Benedict and it was probably one of the worst I've had and I was in the military and been to jail if that helps so I know bad food. The prices are ridiculous there is ZERO reason to come here for anything unless you want to waste your money on purpose and be extremely disappointed. THERE IS NEVER AN OCCASION TO SPEND $4 for one egg and $4 for 2 oz small cup of salty /sweet hollandaise. Don't know how they can even stay in business with the low quality and high prices other than this location is a loss/tax write off for the franchise . Do your self a favor and hit up the reliable ihop right past the 95.

Decided to have breakfast here after my blood draw since it was close and I had eaten here a few years ago. I got seated immediately and the staff is friendly and attentive. I was not impressed overall with the coffee caked once I started to eat is since it was primarily cake with very little coffee crumble on top. I also ordered a side of eggs and toast which were good. Overall, I thought the price was pretty steep, over $18, for my coffee, coffee cake, 2 fried eggs and side of sour dough toast. Overall, my breakfast experience was ok (the coffee to go was a nice gesture).

This place goes out if their way to feed you. The portions are big, the service is fast, and each thing we tried was very flavorful. Cute place for breakfast dates

This is my second time visiting the cracked egg. The food was delicious both times! We were seated within 5 minutes of arriving, which was great. The wait staff were friendly and helpful. I got the country fried steak with potato's and it was Their blueberry coffee cake was absolutely amazing. It was hot out of the oven and so moist and delicious. The inside is very much like a basic breakfast/brunch spot- about 16 tables. Farm decor (chickens, eggs, etc). They do have outside seating but I'm not sure how many tables they use. Our food took about 30 minutes to arrive. After we finished, we did have to wait a little bit for our waitress to bring a to go box and our bill. Just note- they do not take call ahead seating or reservations.

Tried a new breakfast spot, The Cracked Egg, and I'm pretty sure I've been to a different location before. This one's conveniently close to home, and the food was delicious! I had the corned beef hash and really enjoyed it. The service was super friendly and accommodating. The place has a cozy vibe, and since I went early, there was plenty of seating--though I can imagine it gets busy as the day goes on.

It has a rustic, darker ambiance and not your usual bright and sunny brunch spots. The menu not too big, but offered enough varieties that we decided to try the biscuit and gravy as well as the corned bee hash. We also got house coffee and they were from mother ship coffee. Food came out quickly, but they were lukewarm and felt like it was already made and just put under a food light to be kept warm. The biscuit was good and soft, but the gravy was a little too salty. The corned beef came in a smaller portion than I expected, and the beef was diced too thin that they didn't have great texture and flavor. Coffee was good, but overall food was not as good as we'd expect. Service was average, the waitress was nice but didn't offer much service besides bringing out initial water and coffee over. No one really checked in on us after the food was served. I'd most likely not be back as there are many other brunch places in the downtown area to explore.

I don't understand how this place even has the rating they do. We got tricked. I've had better food at McDonalds breakfast. Anyways, we came in with no wait, seated immediately. The place was not busy, maybe 6 tables total. Glass cups: DIRTY. We had 2 different servers, the 2nd one: Condescending. He had asked us if we were ready to order and we said yes, thinking he was going to take it: he walked away! And took 2 tables orders that came in AFTER us that took at least 10 min and then came back to take our order. Our tea was ordered right from the get go but came AFTER our food arrived. I ordered the deviled eggs: NO FLAVOR. It was actually interesting, it was half heated up and half cold in the middle and had absolutely no flavor whatsoever. Wife ordered biscuits and gravy: EGGSHELLS INCLUDED. Wife explained the dish was barely warm, like they tried warming it up in the microwave and didn't taste good at all. We think the best thing on the menu was the hot tea we ordered, which was store bought. Service, never even got asked if our food was okay. Barely got our food and not even 2 min later, check was brought to us with nothing said. Just PLOPPED on the table next to us to take care of. I've been to 8 states and this place is in my top 3 of worst places I've ever been to. If I could give it a negative star, surely I would. Im a pretty easy going person, I give chances and understand even if a server is having a bad day. This place was purely a fail. "Oh no! What could improve?" Yelp ask: EVERYTHING.

We were enjoying the music and it was a vibe until it came to pay the bill. At 9:30 PM, a full 30 minutes before the posted closing time of 10:00 PM, the staff began rushing us out while my wife was still eating. When it came time to pay our bill, our bank cards were temporarily unavailable due to a system outage. We had the money. This was not a financial issue. It was a technical one we were actively working to resolve. Instead of being given a moment, security surrounded our table and treated us as though we were attempting to leave without paying. We were not. We never attempted to leave. I want to note that a couple of the security members were actually kind and professional throughout. A manager then approached with immediate hostility white male, tattoos, wearing a white crop shirt, and beige pants) no introduction, and no interest in hearing our explanation. I want to Emphasize That everyone working there refused to give me his name (white male) I even attempted to ask him and he walked away. He made demeaning remarks about our finances and specifically told us that if we didn't pay, he would call the police and trespass us, but if we paid, he would not. We paid. My brother sent $30 via Zelle directly to a security staff member to settle the bill. It was paid in full. He called the police anyway. And trespassed us anyway. I had offered to leave my ID as collateral, leave card information on file, or return the next morning. Every offer was refused before we even got to that point. The responding officers acknowledged his behavior was inappropriate. His own staff was visibly uncomfortable. Unless you are prepared to be treated as a suspect over something completely outside your control, I would think twice before dining here.

The waitstaff were dressed very casual, jeans and t-shirt casual. Although the food is upscale, everything else about this place seems very casual diner like. We could even see most of the work going on in the small kitchen. Mostly shareable plates... Our table chose the deviled eggs with caviar - these were a hit! Dynamite shrimp, most at the table liked these, they were spicy and the flavor was decent, but I just felt like the sauce made the breading a bit soggy and it wasn't a favorite of mine. Pork Belly - This had a buffalo sauce on it, which I wasn't too excited about at first, but it worked better than I expected. Wish it was just a little crispier but it was tender and I enjoyed it. Oxtail risotto - this one had mixed reviews from the table, I really enjoyed it. The flavor was good. There's only a small amount of meat and it's shredded into the risotto. Overall the consistency was a little weird, very thick and almost sticky/dry, plus the dark color. They had a steak on the menu and the flavor was great, one of the pricier menu items but it was a good share. My wife ordered a burger without the bun. She said the patty was well over-cooked and so it was pretty dry. They don't offer gluten-free buns or bread - bummer. The service was generally prompt, but seemed uncoordinated at times. For example, it seemed our waitress was also handling a very large party outside on the patio, and randomly the hostess would bring us a drink refill (hostess stand was right beside our table). That's good in a way, they are all a team, but she also picked up my plate and silverware after only the first appetizer - mind you they bring everything out as it's ready, so don't expect the whole table to eat together, you are expected to share! When I asked if she could replace my silverware, she grabbed a fork and knife and handed to me, but they weren't rolled in a napkin or anything, just barehanded me some silverware... anyway, I thought that was odd. Overall, the food had some bright spots and perhaps worth a lunch if you are downtown. I probably wouldn't seek it out again, but I'm not mad about the meal we had either.
