Ambience is a bit noisy, nice tables but heavy chairs. Service was very good and helpful. Country fried steak and over easy eggs were well prepared. Toast has too much butter slathered so ask for less. Hash brown decent. Coffee is a decent robusta roast. Ice tea was bitter. Eggs Benedict says grilled muffin but ask for it to be toasted as it gets too mushy. Waffles were good Salt seasoning was at a good level. Prices are a tad high. read more

Food was ok Wait staff never removes anything from the table. Finally took a less than subtle hint when I started removing the used glasses, dishes, and trash just to make room and placing them on another table. This finally got the attention of the staff that I really meant it when I asked for it to be removed before bringing more stuff out please. Maybe next time that will be part of the training. Everything was delicious. The littles menu is excellent. I had the Lucy scramble and it was so flavorful. Added some salt and pepper to your liking of course. Our server was Gorgette and she is TeA. Pretty chill spot. by the clientele we saw while walking in we didn't think the food would be as good as it was. lol read more

Stopped here for breakfast this morning! The food was pretty good I ordered a pretty standard breakfast but the coffee cake with it was also quite delicious! The service was also pretty good and our food came out fairly quick. It definitely gives a nicer diner feel to the room but a great place for a good breakfast to start the day. read more

When you walk in the space is a bit small but comfortable with lots of cool stuff to look at. When our server brought our menus she also brought a lighter side menu. This menu included 2 items we were looking at in a smaller portion at a lower price. Perfect for us older folks. The food was very good and usually is consistent in quality. Nice place for breakfast or lunch. I guess I have not reviewed this spot until now, sorry. We do stop in occasionally as it is close by. One thing to note is with it being a smaller spot this place can, and does get quite full. read more

The inside is very big and opened. There's a lot of tables outside too if you want to eat outdoors. I got the banana walnut pancake and it was ok nothing special. The pancake it self was not too fluffy it was a bit on the heavier side. The cracked croissant was nice. Nothing too crazy. I would say it is a bit expensive here. $5 for a small cup of apple juice took me by surprise. The coffee cake wasn't too bad it was fluffy warm and soft. Kinda tasted like lemon ? Maybe it's me. Excellent service and good food!!! If I could give The Cracked Egg 10 STARS I would! We were visiting our grandchildren and stopped here for breakfast on our way home back to Cali. It was Sunday, and all of the tables inside were occupied. Not a problem, they have lots of outdoor seating which was great since we brought our dog. Within minutes of being seated someone wiped our table clean. Immediately someone took our drink order. Within 30 seconds our server came out and took our food order. 5 minutes later our food arrived. We were astounded, because they were very busy inside with lots of families waiting for indoor tables. We thought it would take at least 30 minutes to get our food. The chicken fried steak was delicious! I was cutting it with my fork. At other restaurants I would need to use a knife to cut it. Located on the north side of Cheyenne just past Buffalo in a very crowded strip mall, this is the smallest location we've visited, but they do have a lot of outdoor seating. We walked in and we were seated right away; the waitress was very sweet. We ordered the Big Bad Wolf, 2 smart omelettes and they all came with coffee cake! The food was pretty tasty and aside from the cramped feeling of where they sat us, it was a nice visit. I wouldn't mind trying again, but maybe not on a Sunday. read more

Food is always great good portions and a lot of choices on the menu from breakfast skillets to omelettes two eggs scrambled with ingredients in it and the classics, pancakes, waffles, etc. coffee tastes good and fresh too. Service is very attentive knowledgeable of the menu that we get the order in a decent amount of time. Ambience is good. They have a side of the restaurants which has the windows. It's sunny and they have an inside part where it's darker which is the bigger room of the restaurant they also have a few tables outside. Decided to have breakfast here after my blood draw since it was close and I had eaten here a few years ago. I got seated immediately and the staff is friendly and attentive. I was not impressed overall with the coffee caked once I started to eat is since it was primarily cake with very little coffee crumble on top. I also ordered a side of eggs and toast which were good. Overall, I thought the price was pretty steep, over $18, for my coffee, coffee cake, 2 fried eggs and side of sour dough toast. This is my second time visiting the cracked egg. The food was delicious both times! We were seated within 5 minutes of arriving, which was great. The wait staff were friendly and helpful. I got the country fried steak with potato's and it was Their blueberry coffee cake was absolutely amazing. It was hot out of the oven and so moist and delicious. The inside is very much like a basic breakfast/brunch spot- about 16 tables. Farm decor (chickens, eggs, etc). They do have outside seating but I'm not sure how many tables they use. Our food took about 30 minutes to arrive. After we finished, we did have to wait a little bit for our waitress to bring a to go box and our bill. Only choice is is egg, bacon, pancake meal. Ordered the Chicken Tenders with gravy. Very good. Loved the gravy. Tenders weren't anything special, but still yummy. Didn't want or eat the hash browns or toast. Ordered a single banana chocolate chip pancake on the side. Charged for additional banana and chocolate chip (+1.15), despite the combo being on the menu. Not sure how they normally charge. Pancake was just okay. $65 on a breakfast for TWO that could easily be recreated at home, or ordered at iHop for a fraction of the price. read more

Came here for brunch with a friend. I got the bacon cheeseburger and substituted hashbrowns for fries. The burger was average. I would say seven out of 10, but the hashbrowns were delicious, but I could eat hashbrowns all day. I also got a coffee cake in my opinion it was just OK. It was light and fluffy with. I believe a strawberry filling, but it did not taste like coffee cake to me. And I think five dollars for a small piece of cake is not worth it. I would give it a five out of 10. My friend got the croissant sandwich., at the time she really liked it and said it was delicious but later on in the day, she said that she got sick from eating here. I would come back to give this place another try, the Monte Cristo sounded really good, but I will not be ordering the coffee cake again. For starters the unique item to try is the coffee cake which changes flavors regularly. I tried the mocha cream cheese flavor which was incredibly light and fluffy with great flavor. Highly recommend getting a slice to try of whatever is fresh. I got a club sandwich which was on a whole grain bread and served with fries. The sandwich was good and the fries were crispy with a good seasoning. A pretty standard order you'll find at a lot of restaurants so nothing unique or fancy to critique, but all of it was made well. The southwest scramble came out and wasn't what we thought it would be. There was so much meat on it and no egg. We thought since it was a scramble there would be more egg in it. The coffee cake they offer isn't the traditional coffee cake. It's more like a white cake with some cinnamon in it with powder sugar frosting drizzled on top. Overall there was nothing to write home about. Nothing fancy and nothing stuck out as amazing. The people were nice, the food was ok, atmosphere was ok. It was lemon flavored and warm when served. It was my favorite part of the meal. If you come to The Cracked Egg, the coffee cake is a must try. My Skillet was good. It wasn't amazing, but I still liked it. There was way too much cheese which I removed and hardly any hollandaise sauce. Th Carnitas Omelette was okay as well. My partner wasn't a fan of how much peppers and onions were in the omelette. Although we both thought the potatoes were amazing. They were seasoned perfectly. Place is cute and offers dining outside also. Service was bad we waited 30 mins for our server to get our order. I understand when it gets extremely busy but there wasn't really much people. I saw the server who had gotten our order (this was before they came up to us) went to the bathroom (which was okay!) a little later after we sat. I just hope they'd maybe send someone our way or had told someone. The people who sat after us already ordered their food and was served. It pretty much bummed us out since this was our anniversary's and this was our first date place. The garden patch- was okay there was a lot of cheese and not so much the garden.
