    Club Sandwich Lunch

Omg came to try this place out with my wife and mother-in-law. Let me say worth going to. We went out to the roof to see the planes take off after eating and when there was a great sight to see. The food was great pricing and so homey. Can't wait to go back and try more items. The burger was so juicy. Steak and eggs were also great the steak was a decent size and tender and juicy also. Inside so cute how was decorated with floating planes and air craft items.

Such a great visit. The environment was welcoming, calm, relaxing. To see the planes from the restaurant is amazing. Seeing them come ang, take off and land is fun. The rooftop walk out area to see everything. The broccoli cheddar soup was perfect. I'll shall return. Great breakfast and lunch menu. I'll be back. Happy Yelping!

It's not a place I would think to go to cuz it's inside an airport but the food was very good. The servers are nice, very friendly but the food does take some time to get served. The place was pretty busy and the prices are definitely reasonable. There were different types of airplanes hanging from the ceiling. You can see the private jets outside. Parking was easy

Unique place to be able to enjoy breakfast and lunch. Located inside of a very small airport terminal in N LV. Parking is easy and you need to walk upstairs to find the entrance. The food was great and is prepared in a classic way. Views of planes coming and going is really fun to witness. My lady had some issues with her breakfast but my pork dish was great and everything was prepared per my request. Hopefully we end up coming back so she can have a better experience.

Average food Decent service Fun decorations My grandson loves to watch the planes What should have been a very average dining experience, turned out to be satisfying, entertaining for kids under 10. All in all and Tailwinds deserves a five star rating for being a very satisfying experience

There's plenty of parking here but not very much shade. Make sure you're going to building 2730 and follow the stairs up to the café. It's a seat yourself basis in the café is American based. We got a two amount, a grilled chicken sandwich, biscuits, and gravy, coffee, and soda. The food was very well seasoned, and it came out quickly. Although our server pointed out she was new. She did a good job hosting us in a friendly manner. Our toddler and us enjoyed ourselves, straight up American comfort food seasoned nicely which is hard to find. Kudos to the team!

What a great environment and ambiance for breakfast. Located on the second floor of the North Las Vegas Airport, this diamond in the rough restaurant had everything an airplane buff wants in his dining experience. The staff were openly welcoming and helpful throughout our breakfast. I had Hash & Eggs and the hash was homemade and tasty exactly how it should be. Even the potatoes were delicious. Excellent experience and also a private entrance to the big observation deck just outside the dining area. Definitely worth the time and effort for a good breakfast time. So happy we found this restaurant.

Decided to have breakfast here so I could watch planes at the North Las Vegas Airport and since I haven't eaten here in awhile. The breakfast crowd was just leaving as I arrived about 1030am so I got seated after a few mintues next to a window with a good view of parallel runways and tower. Staff here was friendly and attentive, and I like the menu selection and prices. I orded a half order of biscuits and gravy, three eggs over medium and sourdough toast. They have a good section of breakfast items to order on the side which I particularly like so I can get what I am in the mood for. The only thing I would say they could improve on in checking back after the order was delivered and refills on coffee. Otherwise, I had good experience this visit.

I went back with my 2 daughters. Again the ambience is over the top. The girls loved it. My youngest daughter had the club sandwich and fries while my oldest girl got the chicken fried steak. I had the hamburger steak and eggs. Our server, Chels, was so sweet. I loved her interactions with my girls. My 2 young ladies loved the observation deck.

If you are a big fan of airplanes and home made breakfasts ... Then you should definitely consider visiting Sunshine & Tailwinds. This place is so beautiful, with very kind people who really care about you. Everything was great, including the food and service. It is absolutely a hidden gem in the airport... I love it!!

We arrived shortly after church around 11 a.m. The dining room was already packed, and the wait for a table for two was a reasonable 30-35 minutes. They took our name and number and promised to call when our table was ready. Outside, small groups huddled in whatever shade they could find under the overhangs, trying to escape the intense Nevada summer heat. We opted instead to wait in the cool comfort of our air-conditioned car. Right on schedule, we got the call, headed back inside, and were seated at a small table for two in the back near the kitchen. Directly across from us were the single-occupancy restrooms (men's and women's). Our server promptly took our order, and the wait for deliciousness began. I stuck with water, while my wife tried the peach iced tea. It was very sweet, with just a light peach note. We also noticed several glasses of iced coffee heading to other tables that looked more like milkshakes than coffee--decadent and dessert-like. We both ordered the Steak Ranchero Chilaquiles and requested the steak be sliced for easier eating. The dish arrived shortly after, served with half green and half red sauce by default so you can try both. The green was noticeably more flavorful, though neither sauce packed much heat. We asked for extra hot sauce, and they brought out two small containers. It had a thick, almost paste-like consistency with a reddish-pink tint. It didn't taste particularly smoky like chipotle, but it delivered a solid, building heat that I really enjoyed. The star of the plate was the steak. It was so tender it practically melted in your mouth and packed that bold, savory flavor you expect from well-prepared carne asada. I'm not always in this part of town, but the next time I am, I'll definitely swing by to try some of their other options. The skillets and their sweet breakfast items like Pancakes and French Toast looked fantastic!

Ever been on the precipice of HANGRY? Almost had an internal meltdown because you haven't eaten…read moreuntil now? Well, read on.... Saturday morning at 10:19 am, we checked in at the front and had a 5-10 minute wait. The entire restaurant was packed outside and inside and people were still sitting in the waiting area waiting to be seated. But at 10:28 am our table was ready and we were seated promptly by Tammy who also gave us our menus. Coco was our waitress and took our order of a deli sandwich and a veggie skillet and drinks (none of which came with their delicious banana muffins - keep this in mind for later). Our drinks arrived quickly, but for whatever reason my veggie skillet hadn't yet been made. We were seated close to the cooking line, so out of the corner of my eye, I could see our deli sandwich in the window---waiting, all alone like a stood up Tinder date. It looked so sad. I was sad; and then my stomach started rumbling. We waited probably about 25-30 minutes for our food--while the poor Tinder date stood alone. I could see Coco getting frustrated as well with the timing and she pulled aside manger, Lacey, to hopefully find the Tinder date's match. Coco, sensing my handiness brought us over some banana muffins and apologized for the wait. I knew it wasn't her fault and told her so. The line staff was overwhelmed and things happen. Let me tell you that was the best banana muffin in the world at that point (they're always delicious though). About a minute later, Lacey brought my son's sandwich and apologized for the wait and told us the skillet would be out shortly. It came out within the next few minutes. It was absolutely delicious. All the skillets have their seasoned potatoes on the bottom which gives it a nice texture from the eggs and additional softer ingredients on top. Our deli sandwich was piled high with ham and roasted turkey, and lettuce with their seasoned French fries. I failed to take pictures of this Tinder match up of food due to my hangriness, and devoured what I could. They have a great mix of breakfast and non breakfast options while still making it feel like brunch. Lacey ended up comping the skillet due to the issue which was appreciated. Coco stood strong in the face of time, food and someone who hadn't eaten all day and was amazing! She was professional, kind, and I even caught her singing to the rest of the staff at the line in an attempt to get the vibe up. 3 cheers for Coco!! I will always recommend Egg Works for their laid back vibe, comfort foods and brunch options. It really is a great place to eat. Oh, and they also allow dogs on their outside patio, FYI.

I've tried giving Egg Works multiple chances because it's conveniently located near my home, but…read moreunfortunately, I can't seem to get one good meal there. Today's experience was the final straw. I ordered a BLT and specifically requested that the bacon not be overcooked. After waiting approximately 30 minutes for a simple sandwich, it arrived with bacon that was completely burnt. The sandwich was dry, disappointing, and honestly difficult to eat. What makes this even more frustrating is that this isn't an isolated experience. I've been here several times hoping things would improve, but every visit seems to end with poor food quality, long waits, or both. At some point, convenience is no longer worth the disappointment. There are too many restaurants in Las Vegas that actually care about the quality of the food they serve and the experience they provide their customers. Sadly, this was my last visit. I won't be returning.
