Egg-Cited totally lives up to the hype. I had the BLT-A for lunch and it was incredible -- perfectly crispy bacon and super fresh. The onion rings were also perfect. When we arrived there was a 30 minute wait, for which we decided to order drinks at the bar and just hang out before we were seated. The owner came over to welcome us and chat for a moment. The atmosphere was friendly and the food was fantastic. I ordered the avocado eggs Benedict and my husband ordered the hot chick n biscuits. The portions were very generous! We also ordered the pancake sampler, which was amazing! I appreciated the brunch house vibe, but also the food quality. Many times I feel like brunch and breakfast places are overpriced and uninspiring. Eggcited however, was neither. It had classic dishes, but also dishes with a spin. We live in the neighborhood right behind Eggcited, so we've been highly anticipating this spot to open up; but I had to remind myself not to set expectations too high, as they're generally never quite met... We have been twice and have had a wonderful experience both times. My daughter LOVES the waffles, and the Denver omelette was fluffy and extremely well seasoned. The hashbrowns were browned perfectly crispy while the insides were soft and fluffy. During my second visit, I got the migas. Careful, because these are spicy! They keep the pits in the jalapeños, so the heat is quite present. Happy to have them in the neighborhood! read more

I got the steak and eggs that morning and it was ok. The steak wasn't super great but it was edible. Honestly this place is pricier than most of the places near by. I saw why after we got our food. We were taken to our seats and quickly welcomed by our waitress. Found out she was fairly new(wish I could remember her name), but you would have thought she had been there for awhile. She was very kind, personable, had a warm and welcoming demeanor, and was knowledgeable out the menu. She took all my requests and substitutions with grace. I ordered a Quinoa Bowl with all veggies; no fruit or egg. The lady I had with me is 85, so she doesn't eat as big of portions. She accommodated that with the cinnamon roll pancakes in the kid size and did a $2 upcharge for an adult, which I felt was fair. Both of our meals were amazing!
