Service was average, our omelet was not cooked completely and the pancakes were not cooked very well

I ordered delivery here so I can't really say much about ambiance or service But the food was delicious I ordered the mochi waffle and fried rice which both were great the Waffle had a almost bubblegum texture good if your Into that texture very soft and the fried rice was on point some of the best I've had i rate it 4 stars cause I can't really give it a full review except for food since I haven't been there in person yet so overall I would recommend it a 6.9 out of 10 good but I've personally had better in my opinion at the abc cafe across the street not to say this place insnt good just not as good as the abc store final verdict 4 out of 5 stars read more

Pancakes are nothing special and I didn't like any of the syrups (maple, coconut, and guava), which is too bad because I usually love guava. The house made kimchi was extra special. Do not eat outside here unless you are willing to be pooped on by birds! Almost all of our plates were pooped in, and a feather fell into one. I was buzzed by a bird and pooped on 3 times, ended up having to leave. We still had to pay full price and had a horrible experience. Excellent food and service with outdoor patio if desired. We had omelettes and pancakes. We didn't order Rainbow Pancakes, but they looked fun and delicious. We plan to order next time. Greeter was friendly and efficient. All the staff was very helpful and quick to fill coffee and water. The meals were fairly large, so we brought home pancakes for tomorrow. The prices are reasonable for Hawaii, but a lot higher than IHOP or mainland prices. read more

Came here early Thanksgiving morning - not very full so perfect timing. We came to place a take out order. Firstly, no one smiles here or makes any attempt to acknowledge at all. It took about 5 minutes for someone to finally say hello. Not friendly not rude, just there. We asked if we could place an order and she simply asked "do you know what you want?" Which thankfully we did because there was no offer for menus or suggestions. We asked how long as we wanted to go to the store she told us 10 to 15 minutes, great. She said she'd call our name when order was ready. Hurried across street came back and checked back with her, again she replied I'll let you know when it's ready. Well, after looking at us just standing there for awhile she made the effort to go look at their to go shelf, it had been sitting there the entire time. She picked it up and gave it us and actually smiled - nice! The 2 breakfast burritos came to $33 We took them back to our hotel - they were still hot and had a nice presentation. Unfortunately, they tasted like the salt shaker spilled on them. We weren't able to finish either because they were just way too salty. This is tiny little place that is very busy! The staff is efficient and orders arrive fairly quickly. The portions are more than generous and the menu items are largely locally inspired. We've eaten here several times and have always walked away stuffed and happy. read more

Macadamia Nut Pancakes: 6/5 because the coconut syrup on top makes this taste SO GOOD. We added pineapples on top and it was so refreshing. The mac nuts are so crunchy and yummy too. Visited Eggs n Things KoOlina on 2/6 and the experience was quite poor. The staff was kind but not attentive. The menu falsely advertises fresh cut fruit on the waffle. I ordered a strawberry waffle without the whip and Mac nuts and received the nastiest looking thawed from frozen strawberries I've ever seen. I wouldn't even use them in a smoothie. I immediately asked the host (because our server never revisited to ask if the food was okay) for a small bowl to discard of them. We never received refills of our waters and only were acknowledged again when the waiter came to say "you ready for the bill yet". I brought up the strawberries to him considering the up charge for strawberries is significant and he just shrugged and offered me the machine to pay. My guest ordered an omelette with hash and onions and the onions were just placed inside raw, which may be a preference for this restaurant but atypical for us. Anywho, I wouldn't visit again but if you choose to, definitely get on the waitlist from your phone before you arrive because it's small inside so the wait can get pretty long. They turnover the tables pretty well so timing is key. read more

I'm so in love with the macadamia nut pancakes at this place I was thinking about them for a whole year and absolutely had to come back. Employees are super friendly and available to answer any questions or provide recommendations, and the restaurant provides ample indoor and outdoor seating. The setting is casual, welcoming, and homely. We also the polish sausage which was fabulous; my grandson couldn't get enough. The fried rice was so unusual and tasty that my took the leftover home and she does not eat rice. So we went here during brunch. It was crowded and we have about a 45 minute wait until we were seated. The wait didn't seem too long since they had plenty of chairs to sit on outside, but I did have to extend the parking another hour. Don't go over at your approved parking time here, because they will tow you without hesitation and then laugh at you and curse you out when you go to pick up your car. Tow companies here at the absolute worst... The table we sat at was still sticky from the previous customers. The service was good, but I just wished they wiped down the table more diligently. The eggs Benedict was pretty good. The taro bun gave it a nice unique taste. The fried rice was okay, but as you can see it was a little overcooked. The Belgian Waffle was good. It had a rich taste with Mochi, Nutella, Strawberries, and Whipped Cream. A great combination! The kid loved it. The pancakes were nice and fluffy. I tried a few different syrups since they had such a variety. The coconut one was my favorite! I was a little disappointed that my omelette was so full of liquid inside. He was a happy man! My 2 sisters split the Kailua pig Benedict served on a ube bun ($17.95). The report was that 1 sis prefers it the traditional,way, on an English muffin-it's a texture thing, otherwise, it was tasty! I had a veggie omelette ($17.95), & I've gotta say, I've had better. My veggies were undercooked, & the fillings were rather skimpy. The egg dishes came w/a side of pancakes, which were nice & fluffy. The service was good, but I prefer having a hard copy of a menu rather than having to scan a code & reading it on our phones. We didn't know, and it wasn't mentioned, about the added charge for the fried rice. Some things to watch out for, 3% charge for using credit cards & the parking is a PAY LOT! Doesn't look like much when walking to this location. It looks small from the outside however they have both inside and outside seating available. We joined the waitlist on Yelp before heading over so the wait time was very short. Yelp let's you know how long the wait is and your place in line. Parking - there is amble paid parking in the lot where Eggs 'n things is located. We thought parking would be a hassle on a Saturday but to our surprise it wasn't hard at all to find parking and we're able to park right in front of the restaurant. Food - their food is fantastic. We tried the eggs Benedict. You have the option of choosing rice, potatoes or fried rice. We both chose fried rice as recommend but our server and we're glad we did. The portions were big I even had left overs to eat for lunch. Lol Pancakes - we got the honu plate which came with 1 meat, 1 egg and 1 side of your choice of rice, potatoes or a pancake. We got their chocolate pancakes and they were delicious! Service - our server, aunty Joana...wow! She is AMAZING! She has the best personality and had us cracking up every time she came around to check on us. You can tell she enjoys her job and making sure her patrons enjoy their time and food.
