First breakfast experience in Hawaii and Eggs N Things is Excellent. This is a fairly small restaurant with a friendly and helpful staff and a great menu. We waited less than 5 minutes to be seated and we ordered coffee and iced tea which were both really really good. Fir breakfast we ordered Eggs Benedict Florentine with tri-colored potatoes ($15.95) and Fresh Fruit Rainbow Pancakes served with whipped cream and macadamia nut sprinkle ($19.95). This was a really really great way to start our first morning in Hawaii. They had three syrups on the table (coconut, guava and maple). The pancakes didn't need any syrup but we tried the coconut syrup in the coffee and it is amazing. In fact, the Fresh Fruit Rainbow Pancakes didn't really need the pancakes as the fruit (banana, kiwi, strawberry, mango, pineapple and blueberry) and whipped cream with macadamia sprinkle was tasty and filling enough. While this breakfast item was much more expensive than we usually choose, I recommend these pancakes and would order them again. The Eggs Benedict Florentine was a large plate that really could have been shared. The tri-colored potatoes were tasty and the Benedict was very good. They told us that the eggs were prepared medium, and next time we might ask that they be prepared a little less than medium so the yolk isn't solid. Other than that, we can recommend this item also. This restaurant is located on Ko Olina and across the street from Disney's Aulani Resort and the Four Seasons Resort. read more

Love this restaurant for breakfast! The portions are very large. I got the Hawaiian pancake sampler which has coconut, pineapple, and macadamia nut pancakes (3 pancakes total, 1 of each flavor). The only bad thing was how it's not a true (ex.) pineapple pancake. It's just a regular pancake with pineapple pieces on top. Also, the pineapple pieces on top sorta tasted like it was from a can. It wasn't as flavorful as a real Hawaiian pineapple. Also, they give very large potions of whipped cream here. I also love how they have 3 types of syrup: maple, coconut, and guava. The coconut one is my favorite. I would not recommend getting the POG (passion fruit, orange guava) juice because it was a little pulpy for me. Also, it's nice to sit outside. Last minute brunch meal here after paying $3.50 + tax to park across the street at the Island Country Market lot we got right in around 11;45a Monday and asked to be seated away from others. We were taken outside where there was one other table in use. Again with the bird poo on the chairs! So had to ask for a clean chair and fight too persistent birds waiting for crumbs. If you are going to have outside seating then the effort needs to be made to ensure clean seats at all times. Sooo "Auntie" with the cool hair doo was very upbeat, vibrant and helpful! The Breakfast burrito and Pancakes were big, fluffy & good to those in my party. However, the plate size omelet my 84 yr old dad ordered was burnt on the underside & therefore tuff and shouldn't have been served up. Which he tried to eat anyway but couldn't. "Auntie" did take the charge off the bill. She was very patient with my 79yr old mom and catering her choices of 2 scrambled eggs, 1 pancake and the Gluten Free sausage. She enjoyed her breakfast. Now me and my Gluten Free needs were met to a point. No GF pancakes nor burritos. I don't eat eggs and so I asked for a sauté of mushroom, zucchini, spinach & onions with the (GF) potatoes and instead of sautéing together and & or adding to one plate w/the potatoes all the chef did was literally sent out each on its own plate! Really? What chef does this for one person's order when NOT requested? The worst part was the extreme amount of oil used to cook it all. Literally swimming in some kind of oil. I was hungry and combined it all to my husband's empty pancake plate and ate it anyway just to regret it later. There was no need for all of that and you can see it glistening on the picture! So will I eat here again? Probably not. I gave a 3 rating because at least 2 out of 4 in my group was completely satisfied & Auntie did her part right! Advice do better for GF and custom dishes & cleaning the chairs. read more

Been eyeing this place for a while but less than stellar rating kept me choosing other breakfast places over this. Finally decided to give it a go so I could decide for myself. Maybe it's because it was takeout? Or maybe not since some of it seemed like it could be better even for takeout. Unfortunately, I only remembered to take a photo of the loco moco. I guess I was hungry LOL. Ordered the Hawaiian style. The gravy was tasty with mushrooms and onions. The rice was basic (I prefer mine a bit on the softer side but that's a personal preference, nothing poor on the restaurant's part). But the patty was pretty hard. Like seriously overdone. I was using a steak knife and still having a hard time sawing through it. :( it shouldn't be so hard to cut through a hamburger patty. I only got through half and reheating just wasn't an option for this one. Sadly I can't rate this dish higher than 2 stars. Daughter ordered crab cake Benedict. She said it was good but the sauce had split. Potentially due to travel during delivery? But honestly, if done right, hollandaise shouldn't split. :( the daughter is a foodie and a "good" rating from her means it isn't typically high on the list. And this is coming from a breakfast addict. This girl could eat breakfast all meals of the day, every day! Hubs ordered kalbi and eggs. He enjoyed his dish and so did I! The potatoes and eggs were delicious. The kalbi was on the average side. This meal gets a thumbs up overall! We ordered pineapple crepes to share and they were less than pleasant. The crepe itself was done well. Slight fluff and mild sweetness; a great canvas! Sadly the filling was not a great medium. The pineapple tasted fine but dry tiny bits of pineapple wrapped in a crepe makes for a difficult eating experience. Crepe filling needs to be held together somehow otherwise it's just plain crepes topped with pineapple. Even with syrup, it was not holding a bit together well at all. Each time we tried to cut "a bite" it just fell apart into mushed up bits of crepe and pineapple. This only got half eaten as well since leftovers became mushy unpleasantness. So would I go here again? If I were in the area for a staycation, then maybe it's better in person and I'd probably give it a shot. Otherwise, I'm good. :) read more

I do not recommend the Waikiki location. Maybe the one in Ko'Olina since the grounds and location are a lot nicer (across from Aulani, Four Seasons and Marriott) Hit up the lagoons in Ko'Olina while you are there. Check in through yelp is a great feature and you can gauge where your place is in line. However, going back to Waikiki location, it is small and needs updating but because of the beach and sand, I get why they don't renovate. Quick service, but they want you in and out. Wouldn't go back here though. Wasn't impressed with the food. Something I could make at home (hotel with kitchen). Not cheap by no means. read more

Eggs 'n things now has an amazing reservation system. Just check in on Yelp and see where you are in line and be sure to show up for the amazing food! The breakfast is excellent, so many options from fresh juices to eggs benedicts, and they have extremely kind staff. The employee at the front door is so joyful and makes sure everyone is doing well. There's plenty of seating inside and out but of course gets busy especially during tourist/vacation season. My boyfriend and I always split two options. Our favorite is the Kalua pig benedict on the taro bun and the loco moco. The pancakes are so fluffy! Be sure to try the coconut syrup if they have it. We've also gotten take out a couple times but would recommend eating in if possible. If you're in the area, stop by for an amazing brunch. It won't disappoint! read more

We were really excited to try this place but it didn't leave an impression. Upon arrival we had to add our names to a waitlist. So, we did and we're seated immediately because the restaurant wasn't super busy or overly packed. The first blunder was it took a while for someone to come and even take our drink orders by the time the waitress did we had already decided on food. We ordered pineapple juice coffee, the jalapeño bacon fried rice & eggs, and the fresh pineapple whipped pancakes The second blunder is that it took a very very long time for our order to come out and it was quite cold when we received it despite the restaurant not being at capacity. The entire meal was lackluster. The fried rice lacked flavor and spice and the pancakes had this awful flowery taste. This was the third blunder The highlight was the pineapple juice and the coffee. The restaurant is also quite cute . So 2 stars for that. Parking is hectic so be prepared to pay for parking, but the lots are always full as the restaurant is in a very touristy area! read more

After a morning at the lagoon we were hungry. Eggs 'n Things was right up the street and we were even able to get on the waitlist via Yelp. So when we got here we were sat immediately. The hostess was so sweet and made sure we got a bench so our daughter could continue her nap. Once we sat and had a chance to look over the menu I was excited. I love being new places and getting a chance to try new flavor profiles. I went with the kalau pork eggs Benedict- it was divine, with a side of pancakes but the pancakes omg! That was a whole other meal and was topped with strawberries and whipped cream a mile high but sooo good. My boys went with their rainbow pancakes and the other one went with the French toast both extremely good. My husband went with their egg burger and tots, the tots were fried to perfection, my husband loved his burger. Oh and let me not forgot! Their syrup- they have regular syrup but then also guava syrup and coconut syrup and off course I had to try them all, they were so unique and flavorful. Do yourself a favor and use the waitlist, otherwise when you arrive you will basically be placing yourself on the waitlist so it is definitely worth it to save yourself the time in advance. This is right in the area of the Disney Aulani resort/ Ko Olina lagoons. Very pretty area with lots of green grass and relaxed vibes. We went for breakfast of course and enjoyed a breakfast burrito, an omelet and also ordered the picturesque fresh fruit rainbow pancakes. Yum. There is seating inside and some outside, which I would have preferred. They are next to a Starbucks in a shopping center, so you can definitely find a place to wait while your table is ready. read more
