Hawaiian Style Loco Moco and Portuguese sausage eggs benedict
    Sydney F.

This reminded me of a classic diner spot with a great view of the water if you're lucky. It is a super busy place so make sure to join the waitlist online before arriving to shorten your wait in person. It is a great spot for some comfort food for you or your kids on your visit. Service was fast but limited as they were very busy. The Hawaiian loco moco was a cool take on the classic with including veggies and some more flavor to the rice. The eggs benedict was good and I loved the Portuguese Sausage.

Out here on the islands of Oahu again enjoying the go to spot for breakfast!!! They never disappoint and all the food is delicious. Other than the wait because it the spot to eat the customer service, hospitality, and amazing food is all great. Come check them out

Plenty of places to sit, they have in and outdoor seating

We stopped here to get a small bite to eat and we're heading out on one of our tours. We both had egg sandwiches plus juice delicious sandwich homemade outstanding. Customer service is great. The young lady was very outputting and asking that we were satisfied. Abby's average plenty of seating nice and quiet. You would enjoy it very much. You need to check it out.

We had breakfast this morning at Eggs 'n Things. It's a restaurant chain in Hawaii that has a variety of menu items for breakfast and brunch. We enjoyed Eggs Benedict, bacon-spinach-cheese omelettes and an eggs and spam breakfast plate with rice. The omelettes came with pancakes too. The staff were friendly and there's ample indoor and patio seating. The food was reasonably priced and fresh. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. It was a very cozy place with great local vibes.

Highly recommend making reservations in advance via Google or Yelp. Parking stalls require pay for parking via credit or debit card $3 per hour. Daily specials listed on TV. Crab Cake Benedict w/ potatoes: English muffins, crab cakes, diced potatoes turned out well. Unfortunately, two eggs appeared to be six minutes poached medium. Both lacked runny yolks of a true benedict. I didn't take back my meal due to limited time. First server did not disclose or offer how I would like my eggs. I inquired because the printed receipt showed eggs med poach. I didn't make any requests. Second server said eggs benedict are automatically poached medium unless the customer informs or makes a special request, the only thing we (E&T) cannot do is boil the eggs. Only disclaimer on menu: Consuming raw or undercooked meats, poultry, seafood, shellfish, or eggs may increase your risk of foodborne illness, especially if you have certain medical conditions. Feel free to inform the staff how you'd like your eggs made for a benedict to prevent and clear future miscommunication.

Great food and service! This place is worth the wait. Service is fast and friendly and portions huge. I enjoyed the veggie scramble one day and the veggie egg white omelette another. Filled with fresh veggies and perfectly cooked eggs. Love that I could pair it with yummy fried rice. The spinach bacon cheese omelette was also great!

Eggs 'n Things was our favorite place to get breakfast. Hot tip, you can reserve your place on the waitlist through the Yelp app. We did it as we walked out of the Aulani Resort hotel. Everything on the menu is great. We ate here multiple times. We did get the macadamia nut pancakes. They offered us coconut syrup, which was not on the table. It was amazing. I would ask for it and hope they have it because it's spectacular.

Love this restaurant chain! I've been bringing my Aunt to Eggs 'n Things for over the last 7-years+ now; we started at the Ala Moana location for the first couple of years and have been coming to the Ko 'Olina location ever since! We mainly changed locations because of the previous manager of the Ala Moana location (Keala) and some of her staff (Ryan) moved to the Ko 'Olina location. We not only built such a nice rapport with them but their service culture is second to none! Keala and Ryan provide consistent and excellent service to all their customers! Their food is always amazing! I normally order the ribeye steak and eggs with the salt & pepper rub, eggs scrambled soft, rice and a side order of three mac nut pancakes and my Aunt normally orders the lemon crepes BUT we completely changed our orders for this visit! I ordered the Kalbi 'n Eggs with rice and a side of plain French toast and my Aunt ordered their Special of the day Crepes, the banana cheesecake sauce; both of these dishes were phenomenal! Eggs 'n Things Ko 'Olina will continue to be our go to restaurant on the Westside of Oahu, they certainly deserve my personal 5-Shake !

My friend and I were staying across the street and based on her previous experience decided to come back and eat here! The food was great and the service was good too but the restaurant didn't seem to be the cleanest, and needs a makeover however we would be back for sure for the food! We actually visited this location twice during our recent trip to Hawaii!!

    Loco moco elevated!

We liked Eggs 'n Things so much we came here twice in one week. The food was both classic and definitely Hawaiian. Just a place with great creativity and taste. It can get busy both in the parking lot and waiting for a table. You can use Yelp to hold a spot when its busy. Aulani for the most part is overpriced and not as good, but this is a great place for breakfast or brunch so don't miss it! FOOD: We've seen this place in the past when we came to visit so we thought we'd finally try it. The first time I had the portuguese sausage and eggs with rice (not pictured) and the pineapple pancakes. The sausage and eggs were great! The pancakes were undercooked for me and a little too sweet but I'm sure many people will love it. Had the loco moco next time and it was superb. I love a classic dish with just enough spin to make it even more tasty. The eggs benedict my wife had was good also as was the fried rice she had the first time around. SERVICE: Overall good. Not exceptional, but they were always on top of things and the portion sizes were just right. Definitely looked good too. COST: Reasonable, especially for a resort area. I think it says a lot that we came here twice in one week and plan to go back again.

Omelette and a side of pancakes. Delicious!

What a breakfast! The two of us could have shared one meal. In unusual style, we both ordered the same. The bacon and spinach omelette with pancakes came and we were surprised at the portion size. The omelette filled the plate and the side of pancakes was 3 short-stacked. It was a DELICIOUS start to the day and enough food to keep me satisfied until dinner time. Servers were all friendly. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating. We chose to sit at the bar. After the big meal, it was nice to have the walk back to the resort! Make sure you try their specialty syrups for the pancakes. My favorite was the coconut! Yummy!!!

    Amber S.

Join the waitlist on the yelp app as soon as you can, it was a 30 minute wait til we were seated. This spot is bustling with tourists from the nearby resorts. Highly suggest avoiding eating outside if you're not a fan of birds hovering around the area, like a bunch of vultures. It didn't help that the tourists sitting at the next table were throwing their leftover breadcrumbs to them. The patio could use a good wash-down, the drain we sat next to was pretty smelly. We ordered crab cake egg Benedict with a side of pancakes and bacon jalapeño fried rice. The food came out pretty quickly.

Could you PLEASE consider offering a true vegan-friendly option? The Beyond patty is a start -- maybe something as simple as vegan fried rice (veggies but NO eggs) with Beyond patty would be awesome.

I forgot my GoPro, which color is beige at the nearest table in Eggs things. Could you find it?

Aloha! Please feel free to directly contact our store so we can try to assist you. Our number is (808) 312-3447. Mahalo!

Is it easy to walk from Aulani to here with two toddlers?

Very easy walk...of course toddlers make everything a little more difficult, but it should be fine.

Anyone know what time they open/close?

They have breakfast/brunch hours only. I believe it was approximately 6am-2pm.

Our server informed us that it had been off and on for the past week, but went down since Friday. Not good for only being open for a year. They only had appetizers and salads, along with their bar, which offers a wide range of beers and wine by the glass, along with cocktails. Since we were technically "working", that had to wait for another time. Our server, Erin, was so nice and apologetic, even tho it wasn't her fault. For obvious reasons it was fairly slow, for a normal Sunday lunch crowd. Since we were pressed for time, we ended up just ordering a couple of appetizers; the sausage bites and chicken. They were both tempura style battered, and served with sauce or mustard on the side. The sausage had a slight spice to it, which was nice, and it was served piping hot pot of the fryer. A fork would've been nice, but they were small enough to eat by hand, but be careful, because they're pretty tough to bite thru. The chicken bites were smaller and easier to handle, although they were a bit dry, so the ranch furikake dipping sauce helped. We were out within 20 minutes, so very fast, and I'm hoping the griddle gets repaired soon, so I can try their burgers.

Booth seating available along with 4-top tables throughout the establishment that can be combined for bigger parties. Our server was very kind, and cordial. We opted for the lechon style brussels and spicy garlic noodles (this was a snack before our dinner at another establishment). The brussels were an interesting flavor. I would've liked more flavor coming through the overall seasoning of this dish. I was expecting salty, sweet and vinegary, but it missed the mark for me. As for the spicy garlic noodles, this was flavorful, and very rich/buttery. My friend and I split the egg, while the third person in our party opted against it because she didn't care for runny eggs. Perhaps it's a good thing the third person didn't partake in the egg, because as my friend and I were driving to our next destination, we had to make a pit stop to use the restroom, as it seems that something didn't quite sit well with either of our tummies. The 3rd person who didn't eat the egg was completely fine, so not sure if it was the egg or the richness of the dishes. Overall, I would eat here again, though I would try something else on the menu.

The ambience was okay, though it didn't quite stand out as much as I had hoped. The food was a mixed bag. The fish sandwich was overcooked and seemed to rely mostly on panko breadcrumbs for flavor rather than seasoning. The smash burger was good, but the patties weren't smashed thin enough to really deliver the crispy texture that makes a great smash burger. The coconut fried shrimp also tasted like a frozen product rather than something made fresh in-house. On the positive side, the pork tacos were excellent and easily the highlight of the meal. They were flavorful, well-prepared, and showed what the kitchen is capable of when everything comes together. Overall, 808 Craft House delivered an average dining experience. While there were a few disappointments, the pork tacos helped redeem the meal. I'd consider coming back, but I'd likely skip some of the items I tried this visit.

The booking was very straightforward, they don't charge a space rental fee as long as your party spends at least $1000 on food and drinks altogether. It doesn't have to be on one check, as long as it all adds up. We were able to decorate the area a bit for the party. Of course if you plan on partying here be wary of making too much of a mess or damaging things. Kiki then helped me preorder all the food for the party, and she also assisted with the surprise. Ashley was our server for the night and she did amazing! I was bothering her and Kiki and asking them questions all night and they were so nice and patient the entire time. Everyone was so kind and accommodating, it was as if they were family friends :) the speed of service was great too. I know we put the bartenders to WERK but the drinks still came out in such a timely manner. Finally, the food and drinks were BOMB. I've only been here a couple times before this, so I got to try a lot of items i haven't before at the party. Everyone was raving about the food! So many people who haven't been to DB grill before said they found their new spot. And if you like to drink, they have something for everyone. My grandma kept asking for more soju cocktails . The only thing I would warn about is that the AC is poppin upstairs, so bring a jacket. I would give 10 stars if I could. We love the DB grill crew!!!

**DB Grill was a mixed experience for a get-together with friends.**…read more The food was actually pretty good overall. We tried the wings and poke nachos, and both were solid. The portions were good, the prices were decent, and it's the type of menu that works well for sharing with a group. Service was okay. The staff wasn't overly friendly, but they were efficient. Parking was good, and the overall vibe was chill, though it did get a bit noisy. The biggest issue was the condition of the restaurant. The place felt pretty run down. The floors were very dirty, the seats were torn and patched with electrical tape, and the windows were so dirty that we actually thought the restaurant had shut down one day when we were walking by. The bathrooms were also pretty gross, even for a casual bar/restaurant. I wanted to like it more because the food itself was good, but the cleanliness and upkeep really took away from the experience. They definitely need to do a better job maintaining the place. I'd probably only return if I heard they had cleaned up and refreshed the entire restaurant.

I loaded mine with mayo, lettuce, mushrooms, and cheese -- yup, that's a real burger right there Fries taste like homemade, and trust me, the small is plenty. And of course, Coke products... it's the real thing. Definitely coming back for the Milk Shake. I opted for no drink as I am on a low calorie diet and do not like all the processed ingredients in diet soda. The staff was very nice and responsive, but after getting a few bites into the burger, which was very dry, I needed some water. I went back to the counter and I told the young lady who had taken my order that I needed a cup of water. She told me that they had run out of cups for complementary water, so I asked her what I should do and suggested that restaurants were obligated by law to provide water when requested. ( I subsequently have found out that this is surprisingly not true here in Hawaii) she said she would check with her manager. A young man came back and asked if he could help. I explained I was trying to get a cup of water. He said they do not provide complimentary water so I again suggested my inaccurate legal argument. He said he would get the manager. At this point based on the sales girl's comment I assumed he was the manager, so I was surprised. Now another employee showed up and asked if she could help and I said I am just trying to get a cup of water. She seemed pretty upset that I had used my legal argument on the prior employees. I protested and she said " if you would have simply asked for a cup of water... the law in Hawaii does not require us to provide water. I told her I did ask both prior employees first for a cup of water before I mentioned my legal argument, but she walked away and when I repeated that I had "asked for a cup of water first" and she backed away and said "you are making me uncomfortable!" I responded that as a manager she should be able to discuss an issue with a customer. At this point she said she was going to call security so I said fine and went back to my lunch with my wife. I am 73 years old and have never been refused a cup of water in a restaurant of any type. What deplorable customer service. I was needless to say very upset and the incident has affected me for the last several hours. Sorry for the lengthy rant but I thought potential customers needed to know
