They have a great selection of breakfast items such as pancakes, omelettes, crepes, and waffles and they give you nice portions with your order. This is for a takeout order 11/22/21. I had reviewed this location in the past, but today was truly a let down. After bringing the takeout home we had discovered completely bricked toast, a teaspoon of hollandaise sauce on one ice cold scramble, and burnt to a crisp bacon. The only things that didn't seem lost was the kid's curly fries with their breakfast and my scramble. Brought mom here for Mother's Day today. Called ahead and asked if they took reservations and was told that they did not. So we had one person in our party go ahead at 8:30AM and put our name in for our party of 7 for a table at 9:30am. By 9:30 our party was seated in a very roomy XL booth. At the same time the waiting area was overflowing with hungry guests waiting for a table and I overheard that the wait was about 45 minutes to an hour. The service was attentive and everything came out quickly. It didn't seem that they were overwhelmed by how busy the restaurant was and it was a relaxing Mother's Day breakfast. The complimentary crepes with jam were so good. We liked everything we ordered which included the eggs n things omelet, a make your own omelet, cinnamon roll French toast, waffles, scrambled eggs, potatoes, bacon, toast and biscuits. YUMMY goodness! The cinnamon roll French toast was so good. A few things could be improved like the scrambled eggs which were scrambled into bits too small to stab with a fork, you had to scoop it up. Then with the omelets, while delish were stuffed with fatty bacon not chopped small enough and they put sausage in one omelet although it wasn't ordered that way. I ordered the machaca omelette, it was pretty good the only thing I would change is using raw jalapeños. The jalapeños the use are for nacho's. I asked for flour tortillas & they definitely need to change their flour tortillas, they are Disappointing. I recommend using the handmade flour tortillas from "Trader Joes" when I say Disappointing I'm being generous, it's like chewing on plastic, I wanted to say something else 2 describe them. My wife and I had never been here so we decided to give it a try. Saturday morning was very busy and they offered to seat us inside or outside, but we chose inside and waited only ten minutes. The busboy quickly supplied us with drinks (coffee and orange juice). We waited about five minutes for a waitress to appear, and about another 15 minutes for our orders to arrive. I ordered eggs over easy and hash browns and my wife ordered a Belgian waffle. We each received a complimentary Swedish pancake. The eggs were cooked perfectly and my order of hash browns was the biggest I have ever seen. The Belgian waffle was big but not exceptional. Came in here the other day because my bf was working near by, and wanted to meet for breakfast. We've only been to the other one out in Simi. The free little pancake they gave us wasn't that great. It was overly buttered and didn't taste like it was cooked all the way.. kind of disappointed since last time I had one it was really tasty. I ended up getting the cinnamon roll French Toast. Get ready for a sweet tooth, lots of icing. Really good though, I liked the flavor. Came with three good size rolls too. I was happy with my pick. However the bf got the basic eggs, potatoes, bacon and toast.. and honestly how can you mess it up ?? He said it didn't taste like some of it was cooked all the way, and didn't end up finishing the food. We've been coming here for a few years now and I have always found it to be a good choice for breakfast. The last visit which I am basing this review on was actually on July 4 at a little before 9 AM. We had decided to go to breakfast at another place in Newhall, but all the streets were blocked, so we decided to make the change and come up here. They renovated a little since the last visit a few months ago with some new seats in the booths, wall coverings and menus. However one they they didn't change was the friendly service. We were seated promptly and a drink order taken almost as soon as we sat down. Early bird specials before 9 AM (M-F) included the holiday so we chose that and I got the 2 egg omelette with bacon and hash browns and toast for under $8.00. The flavor was very good and they have a bottled garlic sauce from Gilroy that is one of my favorites you can buy there. Service was great, coffee refills kept coming until we told them no, got out for under $50 for four people. Pretty good. read more

I got the croissant breakfast sandwich, idk how to explain it but there wasn't any flavor to anything except the bacon. However, it looks like it would taste really good. I replaced my hash browns w fries (fries were the best part). My boyfriend ordered fried chicken w blueberry pancakes. I love those complimentary swedish pancakes that come with every breakfast order. (no, they don't come with lunch.) The chicken fried steak was perfect (hard to get that crispy under the gravy, but they do it!) and the coffee flows freely. Surprisingly, the Oat Bran Pancakes were really tasty. They were so delicate and nicely sweet and light that I had to ask if they put buttermilk in it. Our server came back and said it's a wheat flour mix, no buttermilk (that confused me since I thought it as Oat and Brans, but whatever... roll with it right?) I'd order these again in a heartbeat as it was healthy and delish (though pretty simple, so I'd dress it with some berries next time.) I'm trying to figure out the recipe to duplicate at home. I have never ran into this problem at a restaurant before.On 1-18-23 I went out to breakfast with a friend of mine. We were there for a while probably about an hour and a half. The waitress came to us and said oh you've been here for a while hinting for us to leave .We're just ready to leave a half hour later ,the waitress comes up, gives us a check ,and said you've been here for too long. You need to leave. We have people waiting. There was only one couple waiting by the register to be seated,the restaurant was busy but not over crowded. I called the manager and told him what happened ,he backed up the waitress ,so I told the manager as much as I like your food and enjoy that restaurant. I don't think we will be eating there anymore ,because I told him that's how you lose business. No one should ever be asked to leave ,unless they are disruptive ,or they are closing the restaurant. read more
