My wife and I stopped by for breakfast while our car was in for service at Toyota. We weren't very hungry, so we ordered from the Early Bird menu -- pancakes for me and French toast for my wife -- plus a bowl of clam chowder. The food was okay overall, but the complimentary crepe is always the best part. The server was friendly and fast, even though it was a busy Black Friday morning with the restaurant more than 80% full. One unique thing here: they offer a 3.5% discount if you pay with cash, which is a nice bonus. Overall, a solid breakfast spot for a casual morning meal.

We came, we ordered, we saw, we conquered/ate!

Eggs and things is a solid choice for breakfast. After you order, they bring you 1 Swedish pancake to enjoy while you're waiting on your food. I typically order French toast or pancakes here with a side of ham. Good place to come with kids. Busy weekend mornings

What went well...um everything!! Eggs N Things got them thangs! Wonderful restaurant, I usually visit the one in Valencia, but today I was in Ventura and Eggs N Things travels well. Chicken fried steak for the win today, yummy biscuit and gravy. My Mom ordered something they have on the menu at the Valencia location, but not this location. Check my picture for the deets! They were busy today, but everything was perfect. This place is a well oiled machine and our waitress Shayla was totally spectacular!! Great, great customer service. My Mom requested a Valencia location menu item, Shayla didn't bat an eyelash putting it all together a al crate for her and for cheaper then the Valencia location and a bigger serving.....shhhh, don't tell the Valencia location. Thank you Eggs N Things for a wonderful Sunday breakfast this morning and thank you Shayla for supreme customer service.

This is such a great breakfast place! It is always clean, the staff is always nice and everything I've ever eaten here has been delicious!

I am not a French toast person. I am not the person who goes anywhere and orders a French toast. Neither do I make them at home because I'm just not a fan. HOWEVER, egg n things might have just changed the game for me. I ordered the macadamia nut crusted French toast with coconut flakes and syrup and it was incredible! Tasty all around! And they don't just put a little sprinkle of macadamia nuts. It's everywhere and I love it! I was actually even able to share it with someone because there was so much of it but next time I might just have to eat it all myself. I ordered it with the side of bacon and eggs and everything was up to par. I'm so excited to explore the menu here.

I was on my way to solvang for vacation and made a stop for breakfast. I came here around 10:30am on a Sunday and only had to wait 5 minutes for a table. Our waitress came by and took our order and the food came out quickly and hot! They have a ton of booths and tables inside but it does get busy. Our food was great! The breakfast burrito had sausage, egg, cheese and potato with sour cream and salsa on the side. It was so hot and tasted fresh. The Swedish pancakes are always amazing and delicious! I'm sad there isn't a location closer but if I'm headed this way I'll be back!

I believe I had this place to go before and I wasn't a fan then either. We were supposed to go to the Cam location but this one had no wait time so we came here - once again ... not a fan . The only thing I finished was the hash browns. The crepes were flavorless, even with the fruit. My husband enjoyed his French toast but my brother didn't care for his either. The service was great though! The establishment was clean. The pepper sauce was AMAZING!! I want to try the Camarillo location & see & maybe try this location for lunch but other than that - I'll pass.

Free crape to start your appetite off!!

Prices are the best in town! Fast and friendly service and fantastic food! Don't let the line outside deter you from stopping in. The wait is never long. This is our breakfast/lunch staple

Came here on a busy Sunday. Seemed like any breakfast spot near Midtown Ventura was packed, so we opted to come here... Eggs 'N Things is located in the Target Shopping Center, in the Bed, Bath & Beyond side. Plenty of parking unless it's a busy day or there's a breakfast/lunch rush. They serve Breakfast & Lunch and they close everyday at 2pm. You go in & check in with the host. Waited about 10 minutes before they called our name & got seated. It was a packed house. Our lovely server was very friendly, polite & professional. I'm sorry I didn't get your name, but the next time I'm at Eggs 'N Things in Ventura, I will definitely look around & ask for you. I just wanted a simple breakfast & took a newbie for breakfast here too. You start off with a Swedish Pancake. Those are soo good! Kind of like a crêpe, just soft & sweet. It's like having dessert as an appetizer. For Breakfast, they offer Morning Specials, Pancakes, Swedish Pancakes, French Toast, Waffles, Scrambles & Omelettes... They have different Omelet variations. I enjoyed my Veggie Omelette with a side of fruit & an English Muffin. (You can choose the bread options they have). I asked for salsa on the side & was given a red salsa & a green salsa. Both salsas were good & complemented my omelette well. I had 1/2 of my omelette & saved the other 1/2 for to-go for the next day. My +1 enjoyed his Pancake Sampler, which is a basic breakfast of eggs, bacon, sausage with a side of hash browns & loved his thick & fluffy pancakes. Your server gives you your receipt & you pay on your way out at the front counter. *Pro Tip: They offer Early Bird Specials M-F until 9am.

We came here to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday. We each ordered a cocktail. She got a blueberry margarita and I got a cucumber gin mixed drink. Both were refreshing and delicious. We ended up ordering another round. For appetizers we ordered the crispy maple Brussels and tuna & salmon tartare. The Brussels were fried to perfection and glazed a sweet maple syrup. It also came with thick cuts of bacon. Definitely recommend this. For the tartare, it was also delicious and fresh. It was mixed with avocado and turnip. We thought the turnip would be off putting but it actually meshed well with the flavors. Came with fried wonton chips. For the main course we shared the NY strip and Lobster Malfaldine. The steak was cooked to perfection with a very nice sear and flavored well. Probably one of the better steaks I've ever had. Definitely beats out any steakhouse steak. The Lobster Malfaldine was also absolutely delicious. Most of the time, lobster pasta is usually a bit bland and lacking in lobster. NOT HERE. They included big chunks of lobster and the sauce was so good. Lastly, we ended our dinner with the Strawberry Hand Pie. This is basically a warm strawberry strudel with vanilla bean ice cream. They used locally sourced strawberries and I'm still thinking about it as I'm writing this review. Adrienne was our server and she was very nice and attentive. Since it was my girlfriend's birthday, they comped our dessert. Super nice staff!

And we ordered the chefs charcuterie board. The charcuterie board was delicious! The bread was warm and obviously homemade. All the different cheeses tasted fresh and there were also candied walnuts which were fantastic. I was really impressed by their wine dispensers and how many varieties they had of different selections. I think overall we tried 4-6 different wines for less than $40. The ambiance of the inside reminds me a little bit of Squidwards house (but in a good way) with a high arched ceiling and classical decor. I would love to come back and try their other food and sample more wine.

I'm really glad he did because it's the kind of place I probably wouldn't have found on my own. The first thing that caught our attention was the self-serve wine dispensers lined with bottles ready to sample. We had a lot of fun walking back and forth, looking over the different selections, and deciding what to taste next. Being able to sample wines by the ounce before committing to a full glass made the whole experience feel interactive. I especially liked that I could compare different Cabernet Sauvignons side by side, which isn't something you get to do very often. After trying a few different Cabernets, Chimney Rock ended up being my favorite. The dining room added to the experience. The cave-like ceilings, warm lighting, and comfortably spaced tables made it easy to settle in, enjoy our lunch, and catch up without feeling cramped or rushed. If you enjoy trying different wines, it's easy to lose track of time here. We started with a cheese plate, which turned out to be much more generous than I expected. It came with a nice assortment of cheeses, crisp apple slices, grapes, candied walnuts, crostini, and a savory relish on the side. It was a great dish to share with our wine. My friend ordered the tuna poke tower, and we shared the cheese flatbread and sweet potato fries. I went with the Original Cave Salad with salmon, which came with a generous piece of perfectly cooked salmon over fresh greens, apples, grapes, walnuts, and blue cheese. Everything tasted fresh, and the portions were generous enough that we left completely satisfied. One thing I appreciated was that we never felt rushed. Lunch naturally turned into an afternoon of catching up, comparing notes on the different wines, and deciding which pours we wanted to try next. Before we left, we wandered through the wine shop one more time. If you discover a favorite during lunch, you can pick up a bottle before heading home, which is a nice touch. I'm really glad my friend found this place. The next time I'm in Ventura, it'll definitely be on my list again.
