This is one my favorite new places for breakfast or lunch. I dined in yesterday and enjoyed the grilled chicken sandwich, which was cooked to perfection. I have enjoyed the chicken salad sandwich and love the home fries. The broccoli cheese soup is awesome too! read more

This is my least favorite location. I have been to the location on Devine St. and Myrtle Beach. The first time I came to this location I waited 40 minutes to be seated. There seemed be aIot of confusion. I was a party of 1!!! Then another 15-20 to get food. Asked for the manager and he did not come to my table to see what the problem was. I have other breakfast choices on a Sunday so I will not be back to this Eggs Up Grille location. So, I decided to try this place again after several months hoping that things had changed. I was wrong. The customer service it's so much worse than any other eggs up grill. I always order takeout, but they put me on hold for a total of 10 minutes and I had to tell three different people when I was calling for. I will say, at least they answered the phone this time. When I arrive, the girl comes out to my car to take the payment. Once I paid, regretting late with a tip, she just walked off and didn't say another word. The servers need to be reminded that tips are for good service, so I wish I could've taken it back. Not a smile, not a thank you, and definitely not even asking me if there is anything else that I need. Just as I stated with my previous review, I urge everyone to go to the forest drive location as they actually care about customers and want their business. Our party of 7 tried to enter our name in "no-wait" for this restaurant. Since we are a party of 7 it detailed that we should call. We called, stated we had a party of 7 and would be there in 10 minutes. Staff on the phone said no problem. Great. We arrived 10 minutes later. Person behind the counter said they don't take phone calls and made us wait 25 minutes. Inconsistent messaging will not keep customers. Very disappointed. read more

Waited on the wait list here for 1.5 hours to be seated outside in the hot sun with no umbrella (all other tables had umbrellas). Asked to be seated inside and we were told we would have to go back on the waiting list which was another hour long. Seriously? Do better Eggs Up Grill! I have to say, this location's response to the pandemic has been amazing. From their initial opening, I felt welcome, reassured, and safe. We waited for 45 minutes for a table. After finally being seated we were told the kitchen was not taking orders at this time due to the abundance of to-go orders and that is would be about an additional 45 minutes for food. Common courtesy should have been to let us know the issues while we were waiting for the first 45 minutes. Better customer service needed here!!!! read more

Food was great....server Nina kept disappearing while the place was busy then returned to socialize with patrons she knew even ran her fingers through the friends' hair with her bare hands then finally after chatting for a few mins asked if we needed anything ...3 empty glasses on our table l -asked her to bring the pitcher didn't want nasty hair hands handling my cup so she brought it over and left not even payin attention to empty water glass and coffee cup sitting on table so we had to ask another waitress to get refills she then found wandering Nina again to finally come fill them:::terrible server ! read more

I live in California and had never heard of this chain but it is conveniently located off of the highway, so it was the perfect reunion location for friends of mine from Columbia. What a pleasant surprise! The parking was easy. The service was great. The food was delicious and well-portioned. And again, this restaurant is located right off of the highway. Perfect! The food is great, the wait is ridiculous. Was told 25-30 minutes, waited an hour so we decided to leave. The host told us we were after the party already seated but they had just gotten their food. As a suggestion if you have time to wait, sure go and hang out but if you're looking to eat now. Find somewhere else. read more

Watch out this Shelia waitress. We had her a couple of times. First time, she let us waiting for a long time before came over. 2nd time, she doubled our eggs herself so we had to pay more because of that. The 3rd time, she literally let us waiting for 10 minutes before taking our drinks, and my Mason Dixon came with only one Sausage Pattie. She took away my plate without even asking if I finished or not, which I did not!! I'm not going back to this place. I assume that's what she's going for. read more

The pancakes that seemed to have sat before making it to the table, and my cheesy broccoli soup that burned on the bottom of the pot and scrapped and stirred up to disguise the burnt pieces along with the taste? Needs work! The wife and I stopped in on a relatively quiet Tuesday morning about 9. Opened for a week and a half, the place was maybe half full. Greeted and seated immediately. Very nicely welcomed by our server "Crystal." Then Eggs Ups didn't live up to it's good reputation established via the other two locations. Crystal brought us our coffees, warm but certainly not hot, took our order and then we waited...and waited. Two more cups of coffee and an apology from Crystal, "we're still working out the kinks," breakfast finally arrived. Here's the thing - it was mid-morning, it wasn't busy and our breakfast orders weren't unusual. Why did it take 30-40 minutes for two basic breakfasts? My scrambled eggs were tasty but the pancakes weren't very hot and had hard surfaces (overcooked?). Made me miss Cracker Barrel's far better hot cakes. The wife liked her eggs and home fries but mentioned that her orange juice was clearly made from some sort of concentrate. One hopes that they get their act together there and we'll likely try it again since it's close by but not for a while. We'll stick with C.B. and Le Peep where quality is consistent. read more

My husband and I went in Friday 3/15/19 around 9:00 am. Our food, when it finally came, was cold. I think it was the server we had, She took our orders, brought us our drinks then we never saw her again until she brought us our bill. She did not bring us our food, someone else did. The food was pretty good but the hostess (I forgot her name but she's from Lugoff,SC) took forever to seat my family and I. She called out everyone else's names except ours and people who came after us were getting seated before us. She claimed she sent a text to us 12 minutes prior to my dad walking up to the counter and said she called out our names but that was a lie. All names were called but ours. We went to this place for a Sunday Brunch. Our waitress was Tiffany. It took her a while to come over after we sat down. She took our order and everything seemed usual. After our food was brought to us, she came over and asked my husband if his name is Doug. We were bothered but tried to be polite and told her no. She then followed up "what's your first name then?". I asked her why she asked. She said that she thought he is the owner of the nearby nail salon. We told her no. We don't know what to think of this. My husband is Asian looking, I guess so she assumed he must work in a nail salon. Since she is African looking, I guess we should assume she is a refugee from Sudan. The truth is we just want to have a relaxed Sunday morning for coffee and pancakes and we don't care where she is from. There is something about this business, they should just care about how to boost their business. We go to some of other brunch places for many years, I don't think they even know our first names. All those business cared about is Paying customers walking though their doors come back again and again. read more
