The wait staff was amazing friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout the experience. The ambiance was also great, with an open-concept layout, bright atmosphere, and very clean bathrooms. My only suggestion would be to move the check-in area away from the front door. Every time the door opened, the wind blew items from the nearby ledge onto me and my food while I was eating, which became distracting during the meal. I decided on eggs up grill due to the reviews on Yelp (Lies). This was supposed to be a nice birthday breakfast for my mother. This was on a Thursday. 1. We had a very hard time getting Lauren's attention to ask about the pancakes that were supposed to come out with our meal. 2. Server Lauren had an attitude when she forgot to get our pancakes and brought it out cold after we all finished our meal. 3. Coffee was Luke warm. 4. Food was not warm or hot at all. 5. Lauren stated the salsa they used was fresh, not true at all. It was definitely from a jar. 6. The place had a spoiled milk smell. 7. I never asked for the manager. He did come by, apologized, and took the $11.00 off the bill. 8. My issue was with sub par service and cold/room temp food and coffee. 9. Honestly, you are better off going to Waffle House. Lunch | very over priced!! Very poor service. After being seated, Our table was filthy and had to get sone else to clean our table. Staff Didn't take my needs nor concerns seriously. Wait staff Didn't communicate to cook staff to make sure my food was not cross contaminated . They Literally laughed to each other and shrugged shoulders when I had to send my eggs back twice due to cross-contamination and foods showing up in my eggs that I did not ask for. I made sure the communicate my serious Seafood allergies and severe gluten allergy. Stopped here for breakfast today! Wow this a great place for breakfast! I ordered a home stead platter, my wife ordered cinnamon swirl French toast and my son ordered a Texas farmhouse omelet. This place has only been open for three weeks, but you would never know it. They are operating with the precision of a restaurant that has been open for years. The Atmosphere & Efficiency: We had a 30-minute wait to be seated, and let me tell you--it was well worth it. We sat at the bar, which gave us a front-row seat to the kitchen and prep area. It was amazing to watch the team; they are incredibly proficient and efficient at getting orders out. I even saw the Assistant GM jumping in to work a station. The synergy among the staff is top-notch; they all work together so well to keep things moving. The Food: * The Blueberry Muffin: I saw a review mention this and had to try it. OMG. They slice it in half and grill it on both sides. It is so good I could literally eat just that and be happy. * Crab-ocado Scrambler: Fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The crab-ono!! * Chicken Fried Steak & Eggs: Delicious and hearty. * Crème Brûlée French Toast: I was worried this might be a sugar bomb, but it wasn't! It had a wonderful, subtle flavor that wasn't overpowering at all. The Drinks: The coffee is good and strong, which I appreciate. They also offer flavored specialty coffee drinks that honestly taste better than what you get at most dedicated coffee shops. The Service: Our server, Sheron, was fantastic. She was friendly and kept up with the high-speed energy of the place perfectly. Even when things were busy, she made sure to check on us repeatedly--as did the rest of the staff. You can tell they really care about the guest experience here. We will definitely be back when we are in town. This is easily our new favorite Lake Charles spot! read more

Was very clean and the service was great! We apparently got there just in time because we were seated immediately. Our server was Lauren and she was really sweet! The food was great, I had the Baja chicken omelet and my husband corned beef hash with eggs grits. He is picky about his hash and his grits but said they cooked them both perfectly. We will be back! Only thing I wish for is no seed oils. But that is my wish for everywhere which I know is easier said than done so I don't hold that against them. read more

Their servers are always so polite and always checking to see if you need anything. The food is always hot and how you tell them you want everything. Atmosphere is very friendly and like I said the food is very good. Sometimes you have to wait but it's not long and they are very apologetic for having to wait. The Good-- very large menu , very diversified-- Great coffee, decent poached eggs ,very clean bathroom ---The Bad--35 min wait from sit down- to food-- the toast on one of the orders was honestly dark dark brown and cold-- the crispy bacon was black and burned, when I put butter into my bowl of grits,the butter did not melt-- and finally I'm not sure what it is they do to the Home fries. We're not sure what that seasoning is.-- some may like it we thought it was terrible ---we are now 0-2 at this restaurant and believe it or not, we're gonna try one more time next year -- it is possible that they had two consecutive off days for us, -- i'm trying to be generous here! read more

What a gem! My wife and I had 30 minutes to kill waiting on another business to open. We popped in on Sunday and was greeted by the very pleasant owner at the door. We were shown to our outside patio table which was very enjoyable this particular day. First let me say, the menu is fantastic! Great options for breakfast or lunch. Eggs Up Grill woke my taste buds right up! The whole place was bright and cute. Fast & friendly service was great. I ordered a Baja Chicken Omelet & I'm so glad I did. I've never considered chicken as an omelet component, but the combo of grilled chicken, red onions, bell peppers, two kinds of cheese, salsa, & Baja sauce were amazing. It comes with a side of house potatoes & a bread choice. I'm don't eat gluten so I skipped the bread and it was still more than enough. Husbands had 2 eggs over-easy, 2 breakfast meats, grits, and a biscuit. It was a smaller, but good meal. They also have gluten-free pancakes, but I want mega protein for breakfast. The only down side I noticed was that the tables were wiped down with a damp towel & I prefer to see them cleaned with a disinfectant spray. Overall, a great meal. read more
