Eggs up grill is such a unique place. My friend took me there for the first time and I was hooked! They have an egg counter for how many eggs they have served to customers, adorable décor hanging on the walls, and their food....good heavens. I had their little sausage breakfast sandwich that comes with a side of gravy and their blueberry muffin that is "grilled" for a crispy outside, and moist inside. I had to introduce my husband to their food shortly after visiting here. It is pretty busy on the weekend mornings, but the staff is efficient and gets things moving quickly. This is our regular go to breakfast stop. On this particular visit, we had been on a plane and in and out of airports for the last 12 hours. Because of the flights schedule, we missed both dinner and breakfast so by the time we landed back home at GSP, we just wanted some place to enjoy a hot meal. It was lunchtime but we still wanted breakfast and Eggs Up always does breakfast/brunch right. Our kids love the Three Little Deuces which basically has buttermilk pancakes, eggs and choice of bacon or sausage. I am particularly fond of the avocado toast and eggs (when I want the healthier option) but today I went for the bananas foster French toast which hit the spot. Hubby always goes for the Texas Farmhouse Omelet which is loaded with bacon, andouille sausage, mushrooms, home fries, pepper jack cheese, pickled jalapeños and green chiles and topped with sausage gravy. My only regret is that we didn't take any photos of our food because we were so darn hongry! Trust that it was all delicious and it's why we keep coming back for more. Also, the coffee is consistently delicious and we love the ambiance of the restaurant. It's everything anyone would want in a breakfast diner.
