The staff & food is really great! Friendly. Fast. Fun. And they get their job done quickly & correctly. The location is a bit smaller than most we've seen around the southern states. And the one negative (why the lost star) - the smell permeating from the restrooms was really terrible. If we had a queasy stomach, there's no way we could have eaten - it was THAT bad!

Delicious! The wait staff was friendly & kind. And the food came fast. I'm from Detroit - we don't have Waffle House up there. And now I understand the hype. My bestie and I both got the All Star Special. God as my witness - that Pecan Waffle was heavenly! Bestie got the Blueberry waffle and that one purely orgasmic! 5 stars!!

Waffle House is great if you find a good one. If you want great food come after 2pm the 2nd shift crew is awesome. I joke and tell my wife it's her favorite restaurant. I love the Double Patty Melt with a over easy egg. Wife lives for the All Star and the Cheese steak omelette. It's good any time but better after 2 pm.

A Waffle House is a Waffle House right? Well, decor, atmosphere and such are all the same. We walked in to this location and it was clean, it was busy, but it was well staffed. This is probably the cleanest Waffle House I have been in and I've been in plenty. All the staff was friendly, they had regulars walking in and everyone was laughing and carrying on. It felt... cozy to be there?! I don't know how to explain it. But that food! Everything was delicious. Nothing too greasy or mediocre. I left full and satisfied.

Late night dinner was fantastic! We started of by sharing…read moresome mussels which were cooked perfectly and the garlic sauce was so tasty that we asked for more bread to dip into it. I had the shrimp & grits & my husband had the sautéed pasta Bourguignon. Both delicious! We both had the summer sangria, also fantastic!

Our waitress, Rebecca, also recognized us and that's just a nice touch, to be appreciated as repeat patrons. Over time, I've seen Anna tend bar, clear tables, serve tables, act as hostess, and step in wherever needed when short staffed. Once, due to illness, I think she ran the entire brunch service, or close to it. This is all to recognize her dedication to the hospitality and the restaurant and also to note the overall management of the group must foster such dedicated work. Rebecca also knows the menu, is a hard worker and very attentive. We had another great experience for our lunch. The black bread Reuben is the best in town. It is my wife's default choice, it's just that good. It is yet to be slayed, even with mighty challenges from the likes of Select and perhaps even better than now defunct former Reuben royalty, Bacon Brothers and The Cafe at Wilson's Hardware. I had the Thursday special of fish (cod) and chips, served with house made, slightly spicy Tartar sauce and broccoli slaw. Appropriately, they had malt vinegar brought in just for this dish. But the star of my meal was the accompanying vichyssoise finished with a drizzle of chive oil. This soup was rich in depth of flavor, silky smooth, and had distinct complexity of the potato and of the leek/spring onion blend with that finishing drizzle, it was a masterpiece from Chef Fernando. I joked about ordering a quart just to take home and drink it. Sometimes something seemingly simple can be deliciously complex and this is the case with this vichyssoise - not to have a starchy, thin mess, but rather a rich, savory and refreshing smoothness. We still love the interior decor where the evergreens are brought into half the restaurant around the pergola over the bar area, bringing the outdoors indoors. Our lunch experience at Rotie could not have been better.

I ordered the French toast with turkey sausage and scrambled eggs, which all were delicious. I ordered potatoes which were not completely cooked. This location does not serve alcohol as compared to the Woodruff Road location a few miles north. So, if that's your thing for brunch, it's another 10 minutes up the road. They have a wide selection here of both sweet and savory items. Bowls, hashes, wraps, and of course the Million Dollar Bacon (for an extra $3 if you order a breakfast entree). I had the classic with grits. Let's talk about grits. They use Bob's Red Mill yellow corn grits, which are coarse ground, served with butter, and they are pretty good! I'm picky about folks overly creaming or over cheesing their grits. These were cooked so that the creaminess comes from the corn, in part, and they were not gummy. I substituted the grits for the potatoes on the Classic. That's two cage free eggs, four slices of bacon, and whole grain thick sliced toast. You can have smoked ham or turkey or pork sausage links or chicken sausage patties and gluten free bread is also available (no charge to substitute). So they are really going for the healthier options and conscience of providing good choices. My eggs were correctly done over medium. My buddy had turkey sausage biscuits and gravy, two eggs and grits. Coffee is decent, and they set a carafe on the table as well as a milk jug/wine carafe of cold water. I believe the entrees were around $14 each. The service was fine, we sat for a while after eating without being rushed. This is a solid breakfast, especially for those who would like a larger variety of options. Three stars is good, four stars is amazing. It was good, but not amazing, however I definitely will eat here again.

First time here was Friday 2/20/26…read more Let me first say there was a prom going on in the area and parking was a nightmare. I was just about to give up and go somewhere else when a spot opened. We were a group of 10 and were the 6th and 7th to arrive. Came in and sat down and it was a good 15 minutes before our server appeared for drink orders. They had a really good stout on draft so I ordered that and the alligator bites. It was another 15/20 minute before our server came back to inform me the keg blew and that beer wasn't available. So water it was. The alligator bites were not horrible, but weren't great either. Very bland and the breading was.....not crunchy. It was almost like they were microwaved and not cooked long enough. I went with the double bacon burger and fries, which was a $0.99 upsell from the house chips that comes with the burger. Two big thick patties with cheese and bacon. Pretty good burger. Not the best I've ever had but not the worst either. As for the ambience, good luck having a conversation. The place is open and loud. The actual restaurant is fairly small but it's part of a larger area. Think of a food court in a mall. Very hard to have a conversation due to all the noise. And people wondering in and sitting down without checking in, taking wait staff away from their other tables. Overall, I wasn't impressed. But, like I said, the area prom had a lot more people out than a normal Friday night, so I will return again for another meal.

We stayed at the bar for almost 10 minutes before taking off since no one was staffing it.read more
