Just NO. Nothing exciting about it and an overhyped establishment. Bland food and service. It was a chore to finish my food as it was so dang bland! I have wanted to really like Eggslut and on this particular day I got the taste for a delicious egg sandwich.. I originally tried the chain in Vegas circa 2019 or so and I remember being thoroughly unimpressed and it has taken me this long to give them another chance. Got the rare taste for the egg sandwich and thought, let me try again. Well, never again. Very popular, slow to prepare the order as there were only two people ahead of me (it took 24 minutes), and none of it had any distinct flavor. The bun was very soft, but I was surprised that even the chipotle mayo didn't do it justice. Got the Fairfax with an added chicken sausage (the green thing you see in my photo). Service was stale, but lighting inside is nice.

    Bright with plenty of seating.

I stopped by for a quick bite for breakfast. Located afoot the Beverly Center, I was pleased with the street access. Upon entering you'll be taking by the music or noise level, especially not expected. I happened to enjoy it. The menu offered several egg dishes. I chose the Fairfax sandwich and tater tots. Not much of a coffee selection. The sandwich came hot and the eggs seasoned with a hint sriracha was perfect. The taters were nice and crispy. Overall may be a bit pricey for some ($25 total). But sometimes, quality comes at a higher price. I would totally eat here again and recommend it.

Came here for a quick breakfast and it was above average. I got the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich and it was tasty. Loved the crunchy bacon and the nicely cooked egg. The egg yolk wasn't too messy which I liked. The buns were buttery and soft, but I wish there was less breadiness. The truffle hash browns were crunchy and tasty. Would've liked them even more if there was a stronger truffle flavor. Price-wise, this was pretty expensive for what you get since the ingredients and preparation weren't anything special in my opinion. Overall, a decent option for a convenient breakfast if you're in the Cedar-Sinai/Beverly Connection area.

I came in to grab a quick lunch, and everything went pretty smoothly! There weren't too many people in line, so we were able to order pretty quickly and the food also came out pretty quickly as well. The drinks are mostly pre-made so after ordering your drinks you'll get them right away, but the food takes a little more time to prepare. I ordered the fairfax sandwich and it was yummy! The sandwich was nice and warm and the eggs were very fluffy. I really enjoyed the flavor of the sauce as well, and the bread was nice and soft. Overall, a pretty good quick lunch spot! For parking, I parked at the Beverly Connections building and walked over, but I'm not sure if there's another parking structure/parking lot that is more convenient.

Overall: a decent quick breakfast, fast and clean Food: 4/5 Double cheeseburger was decent. Caramelized onion gave a hint of sweetness. Good acidity for pickles. Felt like the beef patty didn't taste super fresh. Some pieces had a slight off putting after taste. Service: 4/5 fast and polite Ambiance: 4/5 Loud pop music, standard decor, though was cleaned in a timely fashion. Ample napkins!

The egg salad sandwich is to DIE for it was genuinely so drool worthy! The bacon was perfectly crispy and the egg salad was so so yummy

LOVE their egg sandwiches! We've eaten at the grand central market in DTLA, this location is much less busy, more low key, but still had solid food & service, quicker service without the crowd, but also a whole lot lower energy vs the bustling DTLA location. I always get the fairfax with bacon for creamy eggs contrasted with crunchy bacon as my go to. Wife & daughter had sandwiches as well. Execution is conistent with DTLA. Also loved the heavy metal blaring at this location! Super unique & appreciated that they'd have something different playing other than indie coffee shop music. They don't get 5 stars because they're a little on the pricey side, but a great splurge once in a while.

Guys why is there so much hype about Eggslut? I've been to the Venice location and now Beverly Grove and both have been lackluster. I ordered the Sausage Egg and Cheese and the only way I can describe it is very bland. I don't know what they're lacking exactly - salt, spice... it's just blah. And the bun feels and tastes so greasy. Furthermore, I took my first bite and the egg yolk quite literally exploded onto my shirt and all over my hand. It was overall not a great time or meal. The location is conveniently located near Cedars Sinai, but I would genuinely choose the hospital food options over this for both value and taste. They have indoor bar style seating and some outdoor seating as well. Seems like most people grab food here and go next door for coffee. Bathroom available. Servers were friendly. Something's gotta change though with this chain.

Hashbrowns, Bacon, Egg & Cheese and OJ. $22 w tax no tip. Jan 2025

VERY MEDIOCRE SERVICE. I dont' want to go into details but this is definetly one of major the reasons this location gets a bad rap on Yelp and I could see that detterring (potential) customers to return (buy). What's great. Limited menu of egg-centric breakfast products that taste outstanding. You simply can't go wrong. My favorite is bacon, egg & cheese sandwich on their signature brioche bun, accompanied by the hash browns (great texture crispy out and mushy in) and OJ. And that would take you aback $22 w tax and no tip as of Jan 2025. If this is your first time, get the slut. It's a jar filled with mashed potatoes and a poached egg that comes with beautifully crispy French baguette soldiers. And the pro tip.. keep the jar.. it wouldn't take much to replicate this at home. However, I feel like putting plain ketchup on their egg sandwiches is a disgrace. It's kinda like putting Heinz on a well crafted burger. It's not a novice concept by any means and there's quite a few people who I imagine wouldn't mind that. But I never really gotten to wrap my head around this. I believe they should invent their own signature sauce. Foot traffic strongly preferred, as there is no nearby street parking but I believe I saw the dedicated Egg Slut parking at the ground level of Beverly Center when you enter off of La Cienega.

My first Eggslut visit was to the Santa Monica location years ago, later downtown. Yes, this location is outside on the lower level of a mall, they "sold out". The look and layout is still similar, the service is as very good / friendly. I got my drinks immediately and sat down, food was ready a few minutes later. Now the sandwich was good, my opinion is the bun is 20% too big for the contents, and it felt like it had a half pound of bacon, but all the components were cooked perfectly and tasted great, as were the of truffle flavored potatoes. This is not an Egg McMuffin or comparable from a place like Dunkin' Donuts, you're going to pay for quality, but it's well-made and tastes great.

This location stands in the corner of the Beverly Hills mall. We parked inside the mall then walked over to grab a couple of breakfast sandwiches. We noticed that they were closing at 2pm so we made sure to order asap. As far as decor, it's simple, yet cute. Nothing to oooh ahhh about but no complaints here. The employee taking orders was very friendly. I ordered the sausage and egg sandwich and my boyfriend ordered the same thing. We also ordered the arugula salad and truffle tots. Everything was delicious except the sausage was turkey sausage which threw us off. My boyfriend didn't care for it but I thought it was good even though I ate half a muffin. I loved the arugula side salad and I tried two truffle tater tots. Delicious. Eggslut never disappoints! Can't wait to go back to Beverly Hills.

I've been around the area for years now and I've passed by this often but never got to try it out. I was in the area on a Saturday noon and was finally able to come in. The line was pretty short when I came in and it only took a few minutes for my order to be ready. I ordered the Sausage Egg and Cheese Sandwich ($9.75), and I've also tried the Truffle Hash Brown ($4.50). It's pretty pricey, but also typical for LA. The sandwich I got was pretty good though and the egg in it was cooked over easy so it's runny. I didn't know this and my yolk popped when I bit into it and I made a giant mess on my plate. They give you 6 pieces of hash browns about the size of McDonalds chicken nuggets, which is enough to pair with your sandwich, but still pricey for $4.50. There's only a few spots inside for seating so you have to get pretty lucky to get a table. They do have counter seating along the windows and the counters facing the open kitchen. It's definitely a quick eat and go type of place and not meant for staying long periods of time at. It might be more worth it to get their specialties, but the food here is pretty good. It's not a place that I would stop by often though for $10 a breakfast sandwich.

Two happy customers, ready to dig in!

Food was finger licking good! Don't go if you expect your hands and face to stay clean, lol! Second time here and both times incredibly satisfying. Coffee drink was very delicious just very small too. I should've said no ice or very light ice. A place to eat outside would be nice too.

The vibes are great and the outdoor patio is really pretty at night. Service is always very good and adds to the experience. There's a paid parking garage nearby or you can park on the street. If you end up parking on the street, just be aware of your surroundings since the area can feel a bit sketchy after dark.

We heard lots of great things about the restaurant which led us to book a reservation to celebrate the occasion. Parking - None, your best bet is to park on the street or nearby streets, you'll find some free street parking there. If not, then there's some paid outdoor parking garages nearby for competitive prices, shouldn't be more than $20. Most are $10 - $16 etc. Upon arrival to the restaurant, we checked in through the front receptionist and was told that we had to wait a bit despite having a reservation for 7PM. We waited 30 minutes before being seated and when we were seated, it took awhile for us to even get service. Although all the staff were friendly, it did seem pretty slow. I'd say it took about 10 minutes to get water from the staff and another 10 minutes to have our orders taken. Staff did acknowledge our anniversary which was a nice gesture. Inside of the restaurant is pretty spacious and clean as well, tropical type vibes as well and gave off like a fresh air type feeling, very nice overall. -- Food -- naan & dips ($19) - Not sure what the ingredients were but this was by far my favorite of the dinner, Similar to a pita, it's very savory along with the two dips provided. Recommended to try both the tzatziki and the carrot tahini dips. It's delicious even without the dip which is how you know it's a good appetizer. Very well made. 9/10 goat liver mousse ($24) Very aesthetic dish that's served like a crackers and snack tray. Comes with biscuit cracks and crumpets, along with 3 dips (craisin relish, jam, and pickled veggies) another great appetizer. However, there was a fly that was on the dish which our staff replaced the biscuits. Not the best look as we were seated inside. Also seems like neighboring tables were also complaining about flies near their food. Onto the food, the biscuits are a bit tasteless so the dips on it is basically you eating the flavors of the dips. Not the best but not the worst either. The best part is the crumpets, they are top notch and even better with the dips. All the dips are very flavorful, my favorite goes to the pickled veggies, which have coleslaw vibes. Very savory dish overall, 8.5/10 grilled kalbi-style short ribs ($38) Covered with grilled scallions, stonefruit, and perilla vinaigrette along with the short ribs, it was very flavorful and very savory. The dish had 6 pieces of short ribs which is easily shareable. Most pieces were pretty big but two of the six were smaller than expected. The ingredients covering the short ribs added flavors to the meat and was a good compliments to the dish. Presented beautifully as well which is a good start. 7.5/10 pork belly noodles ($32) Similar to the short rib, this dish is covered in grilled pineapple, chili crunch, and pickled veggies. Noodles aside, the pork belly is absolutely blistering in flavors. Very crunchy, and juicy. Although it was just very salty which is where the pineapple is supposed to lessen the saltiness but it didn't. Although it's delicious, it was just too salty for my tastebuds. The noodles are delicious and have a kick to it, a bit of spice but very soft. 6.5/10 Overall, food was good but not the best that I've tried. Service was good in a way but it was just way too slow. I was pretty disappointed with the pacing of the food. We got our two appetizers first after about 15 minutes and were enjoying the them for a good while as well. After that, we had to wait almost 30 minutes to get our entrees, a bit disappointed there with the pacing but understandable as it seems like they have a system in place for that. Food wise, it's pretty solid, although portions can be a variable, keep in mind that the menu states that there's an automatic 4% surcharge to your bill at the end.

It remains a unique addition to the neighborhood, as well as a good place to grab some interesting dishes. Since the opening of this particular business, the Zinc chain has opened in a few other locations. Those locations are much newer in not only their establishment but their design. This is not to say that this is still not an interesting, well-designed business, but, with time, it has become a little bit rundown. I hate to say it, but that is the truth. This location could really use an update and perhaps a deep cleaning. I was, in fact, kind of surprised at the condition of this business, for example, on the way towards their restrooms. From my opinion, it needs an clean up and an update. Also, the litter that surrounded some of the outdoor tables where I was sitting at my most recent visit was very surprising. This is just something to keep in mind if you're coming here for your first visit. In terms of what they offer for food, though it has evolved a bit over the years, they still have a great, heath-based menu, with some very interesting choices. For all of you vegetarians and vegans out there, you will, for sure, be able to find some tasty food to eat. Once upon a time, this restaurant was impacted with tons and tons of people. It was constantly full with people either going to the bakery and/or sitting down for table service. Shortly past their opening each day, there would be a line of people waiting for service. This seems to have changed, however. Meaning, if you're looking for an interesting place to eat, with some good dishes, at the far Southeast side of DTLA, near the lofts district, and you want a place without a long wait to get a table and/or your food, this may still be your place to go.

My wife and I stopped here a few weekends back for lunch and I was pleasantly surprised with just how much I enjoyed the food. The ambiance here is pretty generic, white and bright and very copy and paste of a lot of places popping up recently. The staff was super friendly while taking our orders and dropping the food off, which is always appreciated. I ended up ordering the Santo's Turkey Melt which is smoked turkey, grilled onions, Swiss cheese, and chipotle aioli served on sourdough with a side of french fries. The sandwich was really good and the same can be said for the french fries and I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of fries given, so thumbs up to that. I forgot what the food costs so I visited the website and for some reason they don't think it's important to put that online, which is pretty darn stupid if you ask me. Overall, I didn't have a bad experience at Sandcouch Cafe and I would visit again in the future thanks to it's convenient location. The food was solid and the staff was friendly, and that's really all I need when ordering a sandwich.

I had many questions, and both he and his team addressed every single one with patience, care, and attention to detail. It's clear that Dave was born to host events! That level of guidance makes all the difference when you're nervours... that patience and guidance it's exactly what you want in a venue partner. Prank was an excellent choice for our event. The location is fantastic, the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the drinks and food were outstanding. Thank you so much. We will absolutely recommend Prank and keep it on our radar for future events in LA.

The open patio, the bar area and how it wraps around the corner where there is a smaller intimate section. The music was awesome, the bartender has a great pour and the people seemed to be really having a great time. As I look around I see there is an open upstairs area that looks down onto the first level. So cool right? I had a conversation with two regulars and they swear by the menu. Plans are made to come back and I must try the food when I do. Cheers!!

To be honest, I was already biased because his Smorgasburg pop-ups were consistently good. But Distrito Catorce is different , it's like art. My favorite dish was the tacos de papa with salsa macha. The crunch of the potato taco riding into the salsa macha and crema felt like home, but with some extra pop. His salsa game is on point. The scallion salsa on the ribeye taco was also gas. Lastly, I really dug the tostadita de atún. It hit perfectly on these hot summer days. Low-key, I still want to try the El Rey de Noche. Tacos de beef trompo are starting to hit LA, and dude was ahead of the curve making picanha-brisket tacos de trompo. Service is smooth too. The servers are helpful, and solid at the bar.
