While in LA, my first time, for Anime Expo 2026, I took a day-long bus tour that took us to all the popular tourist spots, including the Original Farmers Market next to The Grove. The Original Farmers Market was a little overwhelming, I had decision-paralysis figuring out what I wanted for lunch! After walking around a while, I kept coming back to Fritzi Coop and decided to get lunch here, a great decision. It was a Saturday, around 1:45pm, when I walked up to the counter and placed my lunch order. The woman working the counter was friendly, very personable and gave great recommendations when I asked about the menu and sauces. After paying, I received my receipt with a number that was called/yelled on when my food was ready. There was a little bit of a wait, close to 10 minutes or so, but everything was made-to-order, so I didn't mind one bit. Once I got my food, I speared my receipt on a pile of other receipts to indicate my order was fulfilled and conveniently found a table right in front of Fritzi Coop. For lunch, I ordered the "#10 - The Fritzi Wrap", which is crispy chicken tenders, romaine lettuce, tater tots, shredded parmesan tossed in Caesar dressing inside a wrap with a small cup of their House Buffalo sauce. This wrap was excellent! The chicken tenders were hot and freshly fried. The tater tots were a unique and tasty filling inside the wrap. The Caesar dressing paired very well with everything inside the wrap. As for the House Buffalo sauce, this had great flavor and a good spicy kick to it - I enjoyed pouring a bit inside the wrap before each bite. The price for the wrap and a bottle of water was what I expected in 2026, it wasn't cheap, but the quality and portion size justified it. Fritzi Coop is a solid spot in the Original Farmers Market! I would love to try one of their chicken sandwiches for lunch, if I ever get back to LA. read more

Came here while visiting The Grove and decided to try this spot since it caught my eye, but unfortunately, it didn't live up to expectations. The food came out cold, which was already a letdown. This is actually not bad for LA and the chicken tenders were modestly sized. I was pleasantly surprised to see that they gave me an extra tender in my order. It seemed that they had an extra leftover piece and added into my order. The chicken wasn't the juiciest but it wasn't too dry. It went well with the honey mustard sauce. There weren't too many pure protein options in the farmer's market area so this was a good stop. There are a lot of spaces to sit nearby the shop in the food court area. Unfortunately, I am a culinary instructor and I know that they cooked the chicken breast earlier in the day and just reheated it, it was not warm in the center or very tender and then the crust was warm! I am not a fan of this place. The sandwiches are way overpriced for what you get. I ordered the spicy junior and wondered where the flavor was. I also wasn't impressed on how they handled my to-go order. When I went to pay they added 25 cents. The cashier said it was a bag fee and then the cook chimed in and said, "Yeah, we charge 10 cents. Food was pretty good! It was a big portion and breading was crunchy, if you're into that. The tenders were so much better than the sandwich.
