I am devastated that Eggslut is not in Michigan! I was visiting LA and stopped in for breakfast. There was so like and the workers were very helpful and patient while I picked out my sandwich. My only note was more seating I had the bacon egg and cheese with a scrambled egg. When I tell you that this was the breakfast sandwich I had ever had, I am not kidding. The eggs were seasoned, soft, and cooked perfectly. The bacon was crispy and thick cut. The sriracha ketchup was the best spicy sweet combo! I've been to egg slut a few times already and I will have to say this is my favorite time. The other times I would get a breakfast sandwich. But this time I ordered the slut and the truffle hash browns. There's no parking, the space is small. The employees were nice and quick. I really enjoyed the slut. Potato purée with a cuddled egg with toast 9/10 less potatoes and more egg would be perfect for me. My only complaint about this location is that I wish it was open past 2pm. As I was staying at Cedars for a few day, often times I couldn't sneak out for lunch until around that time which meant I missed the window of oportunity a few times. Thankfully on the final day I was finally able to make it out. The staff was incredibly friendly and did a great job taking my order quickly (which isn't hard since they have a small menu) and, despite them being somewhat busy, the cooking staff did an amazing job cranking out my order so I could be on my way. I was really impressed at how well oiled the machine was. The interior is small. It's clearly meant more for takeout than dining in. There's also little space for a line to order so if it's busy, there's a good chance you could be standing outside. But luckily the line will move around quickly. As with every other Eggslut location I've been too, the food here is amazing. I will say the tots are a tad on the salty side, but beyond that, you really can't go wrong with anything on this menu. The perks of having a small menu is you know they will make what they do have on there well. They don't hide behind heavy sauces/gimics/etc. They make sure their egg is front and center in everything and they taste great! So in the end, this location is great. And I love that it's on the outside of the Beverly Center so you don't need to walk through a busy mall to get to it. If you're in the area, I highly suggest you make a pitstop and pick up some breakfast/lunch. read more

The price is a bit high, but I guess you're paying for the name and presentation too (it's a basic breakfast sandwich). The location is a bit confusing if using walking directions on Google maps. It seems to tell you to go into the Beverly Center mall (or through the building somehow), but you actually just walk on the sidewalk around the mall to the corner of 3rd and Vicente and entrance is right there (street level). We then watched the cook make them and as he topped the big pot of scrambled eggs with a ton of salt then proceeded to place them on the buns. He didn't even mix the eggs up. So it makes sense if we got the first top layer of eggs they were super salty. I don't think I want to try it again because our sandwiches were grossly salty.
